Chapter 189, /.

Seeing that the little one responded, Ying Zheng chuckled, stepped forward, and picked him up. "Still not full?"

He wore a gentle smile and looked at the little guy with a very kind gaze, completely different from his extremely cold demeanor just now, and not at all like a supreme, cold-faced monarch.

Prince Liebeck was quite surprised to see this and couldn't help but take a deep look at the little guy.

This seemingly insignificant little child was so favored by Ying Zheng, which was something he had never expected.

The little guy patted his round belly and said, "I'm full."

Ying Zheng smiled and said, "As long as I'm full, that's good."

I was initially worried that the regional differences would make the little guy uncomfortable, but now it seems that it was all unnecessary. This kid has a great appetite and sleeps soundly. He doesn't get out of bed until the sun is shining on his bottom. He lives a very comfortable life.

The little guy changed the subject and said, "But I ate too much and have indigestion. Can I go for a walk?"

Upon hearing this, Ying Zheng did not hesitate and said directly, "Alright, where do you want to go? I will take you there."

As he spoke, he picked up the little guy and held him in his arms, looking every bit the doting father.

The little guy shook his head repeatedly, "No, no, this is a critical time for the war. You can't be distracted by me. Let someone else accompany me."

Seeing the little guy's serious expression, Ying Zheng was quite pleased, "You do know how to consider the big picture."

No sooner had the words left his mouth than the little guy's inner thoughts were heard.

My dad and I both just arrived, and he doesn't know the way to where I want to go.

Ying Zheng: ...

Well, so you think I don't know the way?

The little fellow pointed to Prince Liebeck beside him, "Let him come with me for a walk; he should be more familiar with the area."

Prince Liebeck looks like a local, unlike the outsiders, and must be very familiar with this place.

They were at least more familiar with him than Ying Zheng and the others.

Prince Liebeck was quite surprised by the little guy's request, since he wasn't familiar with him and didn't expect the little guy to ask him to lead the way. He was really not shy at all.

But he remained silent, simply bowing his head and waiting for Ying Zheng's signal.

After all, if he were too proactive in this situation, it would seem as if he had some ulterior motive.

Ying Zheng looked at Prince Liebk, "You want him to lead the way?"

He hadn't expected the little guy to want Prince Liebeck to lead the way, since even he himself didn't fully trust Prince Liebeck, yet the little guy seemed fearless.

The little guy nodded. "If we're going out for a walk, we should find a familiar route, otherwise I'll easily get lost if I walk alone, right, Dad?"

Upon hearing this, Ying Zheng's gaze darkened. After a moment's thought, he said, "Fine, then I'll send some guards with you, just in case anything goes wrong."

This place is not Qin territory, and Ying Zheng was still somewhat uneasy about the little guy going out without a single bodyguard.

The little guy waved his hand, "No need, Dad. How could anything happen to me? Besides, I won't go far. I'll just wander around nearby and come back when my tummy feels better."

Without giving Ying Zheng a chance to refute, he walked directly to Prince Liebk and said, "Let's go, my father has already agreed."

As he spoke, he pulled Prince Liebeck out of the tent.

Watching the little guy's retreating figure, Ying Zheng sighed helplessly, "That brat!"

Wang Jian, standing to the side, was quite worried. "Are you sure you don't need to send guards?"

Ying Zheng frowned slightly. "This won't do. Send a few capable assistants to follow them secretly, just in case anything goes wrong!"

Once outside the tent, the little fellow walked ahead on his own, looking around as if searching for something, completely ignoring Prince Lieberke behind him.

This demeanor showed no sign of wanting Prince Lieberke to lead the way.

Prince Liebek was quite puzzled by the little guy's condition. After all, his task was to lead the way, and the little guy was someone that Ying Zheng valued highly, so he naturally dared not be careless.

Just as he was about to ask, the little guy turned around and made a "shh" gesture to him.

Seeing this, Prince Lieberke didn't ask any more questions and simply followed behind the little guy.

Only after they had completely left the camp did the little guy stop and turn around to look at Prince Liebk. "You know the food here, right?"

Prince Liebeck was taken aback. "Gourmet food?"

He had planned to take the little guy out for a walk, visit a nearby place, and then head back, but the little guy suddenly said something like that.

This left him somewhat puzzled, but judging from the little guy's expression, it was clear that he didn't just want to take a simple walk.

The little guy said, "Since you're from around here, you must know where there's good food. Take me to eat something."

Prince Liebker was taken aback. "Didn't you just eat?"

But upon closer reflection, the little guy is still quite young. At this age, he doesn't have many complex thoughts; he's just thinking about delicious food and fun activities, which really suits him.

After some thought, Prince Liebk said, “There are indeed delicious things, but they are quite far away, completely outside the area that the lord can protect. I’m afraid we can’t go there.”

As a prince, he naturally possessed great insight, but he could also see that the little guy was very important to Ying Zheng, so he dared not let the little guy put himself in danger.

After all, if anything goes wrong, it will surely incur Ying Zheng's wrath, and the consequences will be unimaginable.

Upon hearing this, the little guy's eyes lit up. "Take me there! Take me there!"

He was also very curious about this exotic cuisine, but had never had the chance to try it. Now that he heard Prince Liebk say this, he was naturally very excited.
