Chapter 189, /.

Seeing their expressions, Bai Xixue found it laughable. "Do you think a little baby can stop me?"

The little guy stared at her, somewhat angrily, "You bad Ying! You want to harm Daddy and Erguo!"

Ying Gao snorted coldly, "You know nothing about the mystical power!"

He didn't know about other things, but he knew the power of the little guy's curse.

Ever since that day when the little guy drew circles and cursed them, the Eighth and Ninth Princes have been incredibly unlucky.

Two kinds of dishes were mixed together and found to be poisonous. If it weren't for Xia Wuqie's excellent medical skills, he would probably have died long ago.

Things would inexplicably fall down while they were walking on the street. Flower pots were one thing, but once a meteorite even fell down, and the two of them almost turned into mincemeat.

Even when using the toilet, snakes would inexplicably crawl out of the latrine.

It didn't bite anywhere else, but focused on biting their genitals, almost causing them to become infertile.

Ying Zheng's gaze was calm. "This is the imperial palace. Do you think there's only one baby here?"

As soon as she finished speaking, four Black Ice Guards instantly appeared behind Bai Xixue. Their armor was as black as ink, and their swords were covered in frost. The hall was instantly enveloped in a murderous aura.

The four Black Ice Guards moved with incredible speed; almost as soon as they appeared, their longswords flashed with cold light as they slashed towards Bai Xixue.

Bai Xixue reacted quickly, raising her hand and sending a wisp of black smoke towards the black ice platform.

In the instant it was enveloped in the black smoke, the blade of the Black Ice Platform froze in mid-air, and a scream of agony rang out, as if the Black Ice Platform was being scorched by flames.

Its body, still covered in armor, began to melt, and in the blink of an eye, it turned into black smoke and vanished from the spot.

The dark marks left on the ground prove that they once existed.

Ying Zheng frowned. "What a potent poison!"

Upon seeing this, Ying Gao angrily rebuked Bai Xixue, "We have no grudge against each other, why do you want to harm me?"

He was always righteous when he traveled the world, and he would help those in need when he encountered injustice. He almost never made enemies, let alone women.

He had no memory of ever hurting Bai Xixue.

Bai Xixue stared at him with bright eyes, "If it weren't for the fact that you are a prince with abundant yang energy, which is essential for my poison-making, I wouldn't have set my sights on you."

Ying Gao said with a bitter face, "If we're talking about yang energy, my father is still the emperor, why don't you go ask him!"

Upon hearing this, Ying Zheng turned and glared at him, "You brat! Can't you speak properly?"

They're doing this to our faces; at least say it behind our backs.

Bai Xixue snorted coldly, "You all must die!"

After speaking, she waved her hand again, and a cloud of black smoke descended upon Ying Zheng and the others.

Just then, a figure suddenly appeared; it was Xiaoyao.

He stood between Ying Zheng and Bai Xixue, holding Buddhist beads and chanting scriptures. Buddhist light emanated from his body, forming an indestructible wall that separated the dark room.

"break!"

Then, Xiaoyao roared, and the Buddha's light suddenly burst open, causing the black mist to disperse and press down on Bai Xixue.

Facing the black mist, Bai Xixue did not flinch at all. With a wave of her hand, she instantly withdrew the black mist.

She looked up at Xiaoyao, who was dressed in tattered robes, and a look of surprise flashed in her eyes. "The old bald monk from Hanshan Temple has really become a lackey of the Great Qin?"

Hanshan Temple, the first Buddhist temple in the Qin Dynasty, is home to many eminent monks.

Several years ago, Xiaoyao was the abbot of Hanshan Temple, but for some unknown reason he suddenly left and has been missing ever since.

Unexpectedly, I ended up here, becoming the Great Protector of the Qin Dynasty.

A chill emanated from Xiaoyao, his withered eyes seemingly able to see through everything. "What do you take this place for? How dare you act so presumptuously!"

Xiaoyao twirled the prayer beads in his hand, chanting scriptures continuously. The Buddhist light around him grew stronger, and the boundless Buddhist intent pressed down on Bai Xixue like a vast ocean.

She cultivated the extremely Yin path, and her body was surrounded by cold Yin energy, so she was naturally afraid of the Buddha's light.

Under the pressure of the Buddha's light, she felt as if she were in flames, with burn marks appearing on her arms and face, and her entire body seemed to be melted by the Buddha's light.

She frowned. "That old bald monk is indeed formidable! But I'm not incompetent either!"

As soon as she finished speaking, she removed the veil from her face, revealing a rather eerie face.

Beneath his pitch-black eyes, his entire face was covered with black lines, like centipedes coiling around him, exuding a sinister aura.

As the black line appeared, wisps of black energy surged around her, enveloping her entire figure and dispelling the surrounding Buddhist light.

"Let it scatter."

She stretched out her hands, whispered softly, and the dark lines on her face seemed to come alive, actually starting to wriggle.

Like crawling worms moving across the skin, the black lines wriggled along the cheeks, quickly climbing up the arms and then skimming over the wrists.

Finally, it flew off the fingertips.

They were long, black worms, shaped like small snakes, about the length of an index finger, with gaping mouths full of sharp teeth, surrounded by dense yin energy, making them extremely yin creatures.

Xiaoyao frowned. "Poison Gu?"

"crack!"

Bai Xixue let out a low cry, and the poisonous Gu began to split apart, one into two, two into four, and in the blink of an eye, it turned into a dense mass, like an ant colony occupying the hall.

Xiaoyao's gaze was calm as he continued chanting scriptures, then tossed the prayer beads into the air.

The prayer beads spun around, each bead radiating endless Buddhist light, forming a line to block Ying Zheng's path. The Buddhist wall grew ever more prosperous and indestructible.

Xiaoyao looked at Bai Xixue and said, "Do you think that the poisonous Gu nurtured with the flesh and blood of ten thousand poisons can break through my boundless Buddhist intent?"

Ying Zheng stared at her coldly, "Let's stop here, that way you'll still have a chance to live."

Bai Xixue snorted coldly, "Survive? From the moment I stepped into this palace, I never intended to leave alive."

"You old bald monk, do you really think everything is within your calculations?"
