With King Liebec's permission, the second prince of Liebec no longer kept it a secret and personally led a group to assemble the army.
But considering that this matter had to be carried out in secret, since it would be a royal scandal if it were exposed, they all covered themselves with black veils, leaving only their eyes visible.
Rows of soldiers stood in neat rows, dressed in black like an assassin organization, making the surrounding temperature seem a few degrees colder.
Seeing that almost everyone had arrived, the lieutenant nodded slightly to Prince Liebherr.
Upon hearing this, Prince Lieberke II gave the order, "Let's go!"
······
Here, the little guy and Ying Liu got into the carriage and headed straight for Liberk's capital.
Liss was very familiar with Liberk. He lifted the curtain and glanced outside, confirming that this was the road leading to Liberk. Liss frowned. "Are we really going to go like this? Relying on us?"
Although he knew that Ying Liu was indeed quite capable, after careful consideration, he felt that it was simply a pipe dream for one person to face a great nation.
I originally thought that Ying Liu might just be talking, but he knew his own limitations and wouldn't actually do anything stupid. But I didn't expect him to actually do it.
Ying Liu looked down at the little guy. "My brother already said he would repay you. Do you think I would lie to you?"
Feeling the swaying of the carriage, Lis said again, "That's true, but shouldn't we change to a more discreet mount? This conspicuous big one might not even be able to get through the city gate."
This is clearly a rare and exotic animal; it would definitely be stopped and questioned, and might even lead to a fight.
Ying Liu raised an eyebrow. "If they can't get in, just let them fight their way out. The result will be the same anyway."
Isn't war simply about killing everyone on the other side so they can't resist, and then you win?
As soon as he finished speaking, the carriage came to a sudden stop, and two wild beasts roared angrily, as if they had encountered something.
Liston sensed something was wrong and peeked out, only to see countless men in black rushing out from both sides, clearly heading straight for them.
His brows furrowed immediately. "We've been discovered!"
He knew his identity had long been exposed, and now that it was Lieberke's territory, the second prince of Lieberke would certainly not let it go.
But he didn't expect the group to act so quickly and in such a large-scale manner.
Faced with the commotion outside, Ying Liu stood up and said, "Wait a moment."
After saying that, he stepped out of the carriage.
Seeing this, Liss still looked worried. "Is he really okay?"
No matter what, Ying Liu looked like a teenager, while those men in black moved quickly and in unison, clearly skilled in martial arts, and there were many of them.
This doesn't seem to be a combat capability on the same level.
The little guy, however, remained calm. "Since Sixth Brother said to wait, then let's wait."
Seeing how calm the little guy was, Lis didn't say anything more.
After all, Ying Liu is his brother. Since even he trusts him so much, there shouldn't be any major problems.
The next moment, screams rang out from outside, and the sounds of bodies being pierced and blood splattering could be heard.
Then came the terrified voice of the man in black.
"What is that?!"
"This guy is a monster!"
Then came another series of screams, and just from the sound, Lis could guess how bloody the scene was.
What should have been a protracted battle quickly fell silent outside; the howling ceased, and everything seemed to stand still.
Liss was quite uneasy. "What's wrong?"
Judging from the number of men in black, it should have been a long and arduous battle, so how could it have quieted down so quickly?
The little guy was much calmer and said directly, "It should be over by now."
After speaking, he lifted the curtain and stepped down from the carriage. Seeing this, Lis had no choice but to follow him out. When he saw the scene outside, his eyes widened in shock.
The air was filled with the pungent smell of blood, and the earth, including the grass and trees, was stained crimson with blood. As far as the eye could see, there were corpses everywhere, a truly horrifying sight.
Even Lis felt a churning in his stomach upon seeing this bloody scene, and almost vomited.
After regaining my senses, I saw that the little guy was calm and showed no fear of the scene, so I couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you scared?"
This scene should be extremely terrifying for a small child.
The little guy's eyes were cold. "That's just how war is."
After saying this, he didn't linger and turned to get into the carriage.
Just then, something was thrown in front of Lis. He looked closely and saw a corpse with its face covered in blood.
Upon closer inspection, he immediately recognized the man as his younger brother, "Ryle?!"
He never expected that when they met again, his brother would be dead.
Ying Liu walked up to him. "This guy looks like their leader."
Lis replied, "He is the king's brother who has always wanted to kill me."
Upon hearing this, Ying Liu's eyes flickered slightly. "It's him? Then things become much simpler."
······
Liberke Palace.
King Liebec was having his meal when the Liebec Grand Tutor rushed in, exclaiming, "Your Majesty, something terrible has happened!"
Seeing the tense look on the Grand Tutor of Liberk, King Liberk frowned. "What's wrong?"
The Grand Tutor of Lieberke looked embarrassed. "The second prince is dead."
King Lieberke's expression changed drastically. "Dead?! What happened?"
With his approval, Riel could lead his elite troops out and quietly eliminate Liss, which should be a simple matter.
But the news of this tragedy is truly hard for King Lieberke to accept.
