Han Shizhong's huge palm, as big as a palm leaf fan, hit his shoulder like a brick from a city wall, which was not something an ordinary person could withstand.
Fortunately, Zhang Shixun was physically strong, unlike ordinary people, otherwise he would have been beaten to pieces by Han Shizhong.
"Sir, you've drunk too much." Liang Hongyu said with a frown.
"Yes, it's a bit much. This wine is too strong. I like it."
Zhang Shixun said, "That's fine! We're at home, so it's okay even if we drink too much. If my uncle likes this wine, I'll go get some more from my cousin."
Liang Hongyu pointed at the dishes on the table and sighed with emotion, "Your cooking is simply delicious. Even in a restaurant, there aren't many who can match your cooking skills. Also, why haven't I heard the names of these dishes before?"
"Sister-in-law, these are all Shixun's secrets. Some of the dishes are the first time for me to taste them." Ding Dusai followed and praised Shixun.
"Since you agreed to move in, I hope Shixun will teach me how to cook," said Liang Hongyu.
"As long as my sister-in-law wants to learn, I will teach her everything I know and will never hide anything from her." Zhang Shixun agreed readily.
After eating and drinking enough, Zhang Shixun called Sangou over and cleared the bowls and plates.
Ding Dusai made a pot of tea and brought it over. The few of them drank the tea and chatted about all sorts of things.
Seeing Han Shizhong's drunkenness and heavy eyelids, Zhang Shixun winked at Ding Dusai, and together they went to the backyard, sorted out the bedding and other daily necessities, and moved them to the second courtyard. Then he took out a spare set of bedding for Han Shizhong and his wife to use. Once everything was settled, they returned to the living room.
Han Shizhong couldn't help but fall asleep in the chair, while Liang Hongyu was wearing the bracelet and admiring it.
Ding Duchui said, "Jia Zi, the backyard has been cleared. You two can go back and rest. I'll bring your things over later. If you need anything, just let me know."
"Oh! Okay, we won't be polite." Liang Hongyu pushed Han Shizhong and shouted, "Sir, please go to the back. This is not a place to sleep."
"Hmm!" Han Shizhong responded, his eyes half open and half closed, and was pulled by Liang Hongyu towards the back house.
Seeing his tall and burly uncle being pulled away by her like a child, Ding Dusai couldn't help laughing out loud.
Zhang Shixun also laughed.
The two laughed for a while, and Zhang Shixun said, "You should go get some sleep too. I'll go to Gao's house."
Dingdu Racetrack: "No need to be so anxious, right? You've worked hard today, let's go another day."
Zhang Shixun looked at the sky and said, "It's better to deal with my uncle as soon as possible. If it's delayed for too long, something unexpected might happen."
This was a big deal, especially for his own uncle. Ding Dusai stopped trying to dissuade him, but he was embarrassed to stay and sleep here. If someone knew about it, he would never be able to face anyone again.
Seeing that she didn't want to sleep here, Zhang Shixun didn't force her.
He went out and called a carriage to take Ding Dusai to Zhouqiao. He watched her go away and then rode his horse towards Gao's mansion.
This was not his first time at the Gao residence. The doorman knew him and greeted him warmly, "Sir, you're here!"
"Yes! I have something to ask General Gao."
"Oh! General Gao has an appointment today and has gone out."
"Is Gao Yanei at home?"
"The young master is at home. He hasn't left the house since he came back." The gatekeeper led the black horse over, handed the reins to another person, and said, "Take him to the stable in the back and feed him the best food. He was one of our family members who left home, and he's coming back to visit his family."
Finding what he said interesting, Zhang Shixun smiled, shook his head, and stepped into the room.
After sitting in the living room and waiting for a while, Gao Yanei walked in with a haggard face and yawning listlessly.
Zhang Shixun was quite surprised when he saw it. This guy had only been home for two days, how could he become like this?
After several months of training, I have never seen him look so gloomy.
"Yanei, what's wrong with you?"
"Nothing." Gao Yanei yawned repeatedly and asked, "But you, why are you here with me instead of resting at home?"
"It's only been two days since we last met, and your face has turned so pale, as if you had a serious illness. What's going on?" Zhang Shixun asked with concern.

"Ah! Your concubine has only been married for a year, why did you marry another one?" Zhang Shixun was surprised.
"My concubine is pregnant, you know."
"What's wrong with being pregnant?"
