Chapter 13 My Husband
“Are there any photos?”
"not."
"Then I think he is definitely not as handsome as your ex-boyfriend. Gu Sui is the best man in terms of both appearance and figure." When she first knew Chu Shuang was in love, Li Bingbing called her repeatedly and got Gu Sui's photo from her. After looking at it, she was relieved that her cabbage was not eaten by a pig. "Our Ah Shuang has never been short of aesthetics. It is not a waste of her youth to have dated such a top-notch man."
Chu Shuang thought for a moment and said, "But when you are together for a long time, you still have to look at the inner qualities. You will get tired of the outer appearance."
Li Bingbing nodded: "So it's not a pity to dump him."
The car stopped at the entrance of Lingcui Pavilion. The waiter led the two through the corridor and into the antique pavilion box. The design and landscape of Lingcui Pavilion are well-known among the Chinese courtyard restaurants in the entire imperial capital.
The house is surrounded by mountains and water. Outside the window is a garden in the style of southern Anhui. Behind the embroidered screen is a beautiful woman playing the zither.
Soon, several girls wearing Han Dynasty skirts came in to serve the dishes. The dishes tasted amazing. Li Bingbing poured a cup of tea and said, "This is a good place."
They chatted and ate slowly. When they were almost done, Li Bingbing said she was going to the bathroom and said she would be back soon. Chu Shuang waited for more than ten minutes but there was no sign of her.
The call was answered quite quickly.
"Why haven't you come back yet? Are you lost?"
Li Bingbing: "Ah Shuang! I think I met my crush! So handsome!"
"…what happened in the bathroom?"
"On the way back, I was walking with my head down. Someone passed by me and I looked up and saw his profile. He was so handsome! He was very tall, and his temperament was mature and reserved. He was my ideal type that I couldn't even imagine in my dreams!"
"And then?"
"Then I stood there for a few seconds and then quietly followed them to their box. Now I am waiting there."
No wonder she always sounds sneaky when she speaks.
Hatsushimo: "Do you want to wait for them to come out?"
"I want to wait," Li Bingbing lowered her voice, "Just come over after you finish your meal. Turn right and walk along the corridor until you see an archway. I'm behind a small rockery."
"good."
Seeing that she didn't eat much of the food, Chu Shuang slowly filled her stomach before leisurely going to find Li Bingbing.
Seeing someone hanging around the rockery from a distance, she walked over, shaking her head and smiling, "Has he not come out yet?"
Li Bingbing shook her head.
"What if they just arrived and it takes a long time to finish?"
Li Bingbing: "Will you wait with me?"
"Yes, I want to see what the man who made you brag so much looks like."
After waiting for a while, Chu Shuang felt pain in her feet. Seeing that the grass was soft, she sat down against the rockery. She was so bored that she felt sleepy. Li Bingbing was in good spirits, and her eyes were always alert to a certain room.
I don’t know how much time had passed, Chu Shuang had already fallen asleep, and the door of the private room suddenly creaked and was pushed open from the inside.
Several men in suits walked out of the door, each one more handsome than the other. Today they had really struck a chord with many handsome men.
Li Bingbing shook Chu Shuang excitedly, "Hurry up, the person is coming out."
Being shaken by her, Chu Shuang suddenly opened his eyes and asked, "Where is it?"
Three men had already come out. When the fourth man came out, Li Bingbing's eyes lit up. "Should I go get their contact information now? There are so many people."
"Otherwise, you've waited so long, and if you hesitate any longer, you may not be able to meet her again..."
Li Bingbing raised her chin and said, "Okay!"
She didn't notice at all that the person next to her was suddenly stunned.
Chu Shuang saw clearly that the man coming out of the box was none other than Sheng Ting!
Li Bingbing was about to strike up a conversation, but Chu Shuang quickly stopped her and said, "Wait."
Any one of those men was a rare handsome guy, and Li Bingbing's heart was filled with joy.
In the remaining light, Sheng Ting only felt that there was someone next to the rockery. He raised his eyes casually, looked over there, and then walked away.
Being ignored, Chu Shuang held Li Bingbing's hand tightly, not knowing what she was thinking.
"Ah Shuang," Li Bingbing looked at her in confusion, "Why are you pulling me to do this? They are about to leave, I have to go upstairs and get their contact information."
Chu Shuang pursed her lips, her expression indescribable: "I have."
Li Bingbing's eyes widened. "Someone you know?"
"My husband."
After walking a few steps, Sheng Ting realized something was wrong and turned around. Sure enough, she saw that the person was Chu Shuang, and she also heard her words "my husband" clearly.
Li Bingbing had a subtle expression and slowly opened her mouth: "You said that man in a black suit is... your marriage partner?"
Hatsushimo nodded.
"Sheng Ting, what are you looking at?" Zhao Jinzhou followed Sheng Ting's line of sight and caught a glimpse of the two women.
Hearing someone calling Sheng Ting's name, Chu Shuang turned around and met his eyes this time.
"Why didn't you shout when you saw me?" the man asked first.
Hatsushimo: “Not in time.”
Before I could finish my words, the other person ignored me and walked away.
Sheng Ting paused for a second and looked at her. "Have you eaten?"
"I've eaten," Hatsushimo looked at the people behind him, "Are you and your friends here to eat too?"
She knew Zhengze and Zhengyuan and had toasted them at the wedding banquet, but she met the other man for the first time.
"It turned out to be my sister-in-law. I just glanced at her hastily and didn't recognize her," Zhengze said elegantly, chuckling, "It's OK if you didn't recognize others, but how could Sheng Ting misjudge even his own wife?"
"Sister-in-law?" Zhao Jinzhou saw Chu Shuang for the first time. She was gentle and bright, and her temperament and appearance were too superior. "I was wondering why Sheng Ting didn't bring sister-in-law to meet her. It turns out that she is a beauty in a golden house. I watch her too closely."
He walked over, curved his lips and held out his hand: "I was abroad at your wedding and didn't make it in time to eat your wedding candy, sister-in-law, my name is Zhao Jinzhou."
Hatsushimo nodded politely and shook hands with him: "There are plenty of wedding candies. Come to Qingyu Garden when you have time. There are all kinds of candies, plenty of them."
Zhao Jinzhou laughed: "Sheng Ting, your sister-in-law is much more generous than you."
Li Bingbing silently watched Chu Shuang talking to these handsome guys. It turned out to be true. That man was her husband.
Chu Shuang remembered and introduced Li Bingbing, who was already a little dazed beside her, "This is my childhood friend, Li Bingbing."
Sheng Ting looked over and nodded: "Hello."
Looking at the tall and straight man, with thick eyebrows, a straight nose and thin lips, a handsomeness that could be remembered for a lifetime at a glance, Li Bingbing recalled what she had done in front of Chu Shuang before, and she forced an awkward smile: "Hello."
Since they met, Zhengze and others suggested going to the tavern together, and Chushuang and Li Bingbing followed them.
We went to a Tang Dynasty wine house in the west of the city. The lights were bright, but there were not many people coming and going. The red lanterns in the corridor were dim and warm, and the orchid fragrance was rich.
"What would sister-in-law like to drink?" Zhengyuan asked.
Before Hatsushimo could answer, Sheng Ting said, "Give her some low-proof sake."
He turned his head and asked her, "Is it okay?"
"Can."
Soon, the waiter brought several jars of wine. The two girls drank sake, and the men had two jars of different wine in front of them.
Chushuang lowered her eyes to watch Sheng Ting pouring the wine slowly. Her knuckles were clean and slender, and the aroma of wine filled her nose. She was a little curious about the taste of the wine.
