Chapter 3 Exorcism

Chapter 3 Exorcism Ritual

The underground secret room of the church is brightly lit.

Crown looked around carefully.

The white candles formed a large circle, burning quietly, the melted wax flowing down the candlestick and slowly solidifying.

Two strong patrolmen stood at each of the four corners of the room.

The central ground was sprinkled with silver powder, drawing an eight-pointed star-shaped pattern.

Outside the eight-pointed star, there were two concentric circles, marked with words and strange shapes that he didn't recognize.

Nick was wearing a pure white robe with the church's holy emblem embroidered on the chest.

He stood within the circle of candles, holding a thick Bible in his hands. The book had a metal cover that shone with brilliant gold and was also engraved with the holy emblem of the God of Fire.

Looking at the person who walked in, the priest nodded gently and said, "Crown, stand in the middle of the ceremony."

In Crown's impression, the priest would only wear this outfit on the birthday of God every year.

If it is a blessing, there will be no disaster; if it is a disaster, there will be no escape.

The current situation is definitely not as simple as just questioning.

He suppressed his anxiety, walked calmly into the candle circle, and stood in the middle of the eight-pointed star.

As he walked on the ritual pattern, his right foot paused very briefly and then crushed it hard.

When he stopped and saw that the pattern on the ground did not deform at all due to his movements, he felt a little disappointed.

Nick spoke in a deep and solemn voice: "Crown Moti, as a child of God, you will receive a holy baptism today."

Klauen frowned slightly and corrected:

"It's my pleasure, Father. But you are wrong. My name is Crown Moya."

The priest's solemn expression relaxed slightly, and he spoke again: "Names are just symbols. Our Lord will remember the soul of every lamb who has prayed to him."

"My child, even though you have lost all your blood relatives in this world, you will always be bathed in the watchful eyes of the gods."

"Hmm," Clown coughed twice, a little embarrassed, "Father, please interrupt me again. I have a sister who married in Rhine City."

Now, he has completely accepted the original owner's memory, and even remembers clearly when he had his first primitive impulse.

Many things that the original owner had forgotten were also clearly recalled.

He is now more genuine than the original owner! Nick's expression finally eased, because he often bought some herbs from Old Moya as incense, and he was familiar with the Crown family.

People who are possessed by evil spirits have very confused memories and speak incoherently.

Crown's thinking was clear, which probably meant that the other party was unlikely to be possessed by an evil spirit.

As for why he survived the slaughter of evil spirits, it can only be attributed to the mercy of the Lord of Fire.

Despite this, the exorcism ceremony still needs to be performed for the most accurate verification.

"Child, please close your eyes and recite the verses of our Lord silently."

After the priest finished speaking, his voice suddenly became high-pitched: "In the name of the Lord of Fire, we expel you, every filthy soul."

As the priest spoke, the candle flame shot up a long way.

Nick's voice became distant and high, echoing in the room, as if it came from the sky.

The silver powder on the ground turned into a fiery red, turning the area under Clown's feet into a fiery lava field.

The patrolmen at the four corners opened their eyes wide as they looked at this miraculous sight. Their faith in the God of Fire immediately became much more devout.

Crown was unaware of this; he had his eyes closed at the moment and only felt that he was wandering in a warm place.

".All evil forces, evil spirits, demons, stay away from the Lamb of our Lord and stop harming them."

Nick held up the holy emblem on his chest and placed it on Clown's forehead: "Evil spirit, show yourself!"

The holy emblem burst into light, as bright as the flaming red sun, and then disappeared in a flash.

Nick was shocked when he saw wisps of black mist rising from the person under the holy emblem.

Is this a sign of being possessed by an evil spirit?!

During the exorcism ritual, evil creatures are greatly weakened and ignited by holy light, revealing their true form.

Only evil creatures would emit black gas during the ritual.

The black air on Clown's body gradually disappeared, but there was no sign of anything abnormal, and there was even a look of intoxicated enjoyment on his face.

The priest tightly grasped the holy emblem and shouted, "Evil spirit, show yourself!"

There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!

The holy emblem shone again, and black mist rose from Clown's body again, but it was much lighter than before.

Crown felt two streams of burning warmth flowing through his body, and he suddenly felt relaxed.

After a long time, he heard no other sound, so he opened his eyes and met the priest's puzzled gaze.

Could it be that there were only some evil spirits left in his body? Nick asked puzzledly: "How do you feel now? Do you feel any discomfort?"

“I feel full of strength!”

Clown clenched his fists and said, "It feels very comfortable. Father, can you do it again?"

"Heh", two more times, you're probably trying to bankrupt me! The ceremony was originally called Holy Baptism.

Believers bathe in the ocean of divine power, thereby purifying the filth in their hearts, strengthening their bodies, and improving their life essence. In the past, ordinary nobles could not enjoy this treatment.

Exorcism is just a secondary function.

The candles used in the ceremony and the powder sprinkled on the ground both require a large amount of money to exchange from the church. Otherwise, the quota given by the church would not be enough.

Nick suddenly smiled and said, "Of course. It costs 50 gold shields to perform a sacred ceremony. You just received two baptisms, a total of 100 gold shields. Do you want two more?"

Although I have also been blessed by the ceremony, you must pay the full amount of money spent on the materials!

Hearing the priest's words, Crown's smile froze on his face.

100 gold shields, you might as well go and rob it! Did you get my consent before providing this kind of service?

Nick's smile became more kind, and he spoke gently, "If you don't need to hold the holy baptism ceremony again for the time being, then settle the bill. Cash or monthly payment? If you pay monthly, my interest rate is very low, 0.05% per day."

"Father, why is the ceremony so expensive?" Crown smiled. He had a feeling that he was being ripped off. He was so angry in his heart, but he remained amiable on the surface.

In the Kingdom of Farouk, not many people dare to turn against the Church of the Lord of Fire.

Nick pretended to be profound and said, "It's not expensive, it's just that the price of these things is not affordable for ordinary people."

He added silently in his heart: I just sold one thing twice, just to compensate for the consumption of the sanctuary in accumulating the power of faith.
