Chapter 2 I Miss You So Much

Chapter 2 I Miss You So Much

Just after I finished washing up, I heard the boy's clear and pleasant voice outside, with a gentle voice like the clear wind and bright moon, "Yaoyao, are you up?"

Bai Yaoyao's sleepiness disappeared in an instant. She jumped up and ran towards the door, "Cousin!" "Shoes! Shoes!" Aunt Hu picked up the pink embroidered shoes that she had not had time to put on Bai Yaoyao and hurriedly chased after him.

The fifteen-year-old boy stood at the door, as handsome as a jade tree, his gentle eyes and eyebrows were filled with smiles. He looked at the little girl in the room, who was jumping and running towards him like a little rabbit.

However, when he saw her bare little feet, he frowned slightly, and immediately strode forward, stretched out his hand, and picked up the little girl who was rushing towards him.

Bai Yaoyao hugged Li Mingyan's neck with a smile on her face and called out sweetly again, "Cousin."

Li Mingyan, the eldest grandson of the Li family, is Bai Yaoyao's elder cousin.

Li Mingyan's eyes were full of tenderness. He carefully held the little girl in his arms and wrapped her exposed little feet with his robe. Then he turned and walked out, "Cousin, I'm here to take you to have breakfast."

Nanny Hu was no longer in a hurry to help Bai Yaoyao put on her shoes. She just followed the two of them with a smile on her face.

Bai Yaoyao's identity in the human world is the only daughter of General Bai Xingtian. Her mother died of complications during childbirth.

Her father was away fighting all year round, so he sent her to live with the Li family in Sifang City, which was Bai Yaoyao's grandmother's home.

The Li family has a rule that on the first and fifteenth day of every month, the whole family will sit together to have breakfast, and other times are optional.

Today happens to be the first day of August.

When Bai Yaoyao arrived at the hall, the fine yellow pear wood dining table was already full of people.

Except for Bai Yaoyao's eldest uncle Li Yunping who followed his father to fight in the war, and his second uncle Li Yunshan who went to the military camp to report early in the morning, the whole family was there.

The leader was the current head of the Li family, Old Lady Li, who was personally conferred the fifth rank by the emperor and was Bai Yaoyao's grandmother.

Sitting on the left of Mrs. Li were her eldest daughter-in-law Yao, her second daughter-in-law Liu, her third son Li Yunfeng, and the ten-year-old twins Li Yaojia and Li Mingze from the second wife's house.

In the empty space to the right of Mrs. Li, there was a children's dining chair with delicate carvings and polished to a mirror-like finish. It was obviously the seat for four-year-old Bai Yaoyao.

Further to the right is Li Mingyan's position.

Li Mingyan had just walked to the door with Bai Yaoyao in his arms when Bai Yaoyao broke free from his embrace and rushed towards Old Lady Li who was sitting in the first seat. Her clear voice carried the sweetness and childishness that only a little girl could give her, "Grandma!"

"Oh, Yaoyao, my little darling! Are you awake? Come here, let grandma hug you. Grandma misses my little baby so much!" Old Madam Li had a kind smile on her face. She stretched out her hand and hugged the little girl tightly in her arms. She lowered her head and kissed her fair and tender little face, indicating that she was satisfied.

Li Yaojia, who was sitting next to him, suddenly rolled her eyes.

We just had dinner together yesterday. I miss you so much after just one night apart.

My grandmother's words are even more false than those said by the scumbags who seduce little girls in those operas!

The eldest wife, Mrs. Yao, saw Bai Yaoyao was barefoot. She stood up, took the shoes from Madam Hu, and walked over with a smile, "Put on your shoes quickly, or you'll catch a cold."

As he said this, he bent down and put shoes on Bai Yaoyao himself.

"Thank you, aunt." Bai Yaoyao smiled sweetly at Yao.
