This was exactly the effect Jiangtang was aiming for. He concentrated on finishing his report, then went to the cafeteria that night to eat some noodle soup Aunt Zhang had made. Then, he followed Aunt Zhang to the bathhouse for a bath. He returned to his room and went straight into his space to sleep.
When I came in, I was surprised to find Si Ning there too. "Are you home?"
Meng Si Ning nodded: "What about you, have you come back?" Because there were other people around along the way, the two of them didn't go into the space to chat much.
"I'm back and I'm at the commune now. Are you here too?" Jiang Tang asked.
"I just arrived this afternoon and no one responded to me when I talked to you, so I waited for you here." Meng Si Ning replied.
The two sisters exchanged a big hug for their safe return home. Meng Si Ning would rest at home for two days before returning to work. Jiang Tang wasn't so free; she had her work cut out. After a short chat, Jiang Tang was exhausted and fell into a deep sleep. Meng Si Ning also left. Having caught up on her afternoon nap, she wasn't sleepy at all. Sitting at my desk, I wrote an article about going out. It was mainly about my experiences, and also about raising awareness of caution when traveling. I wrote until after eleven o'clock. I lay down and fell asleep instantly.
The next day, Meng Si Ning, as usual, went downstairs to check on Ponyo, clean her poop, and give Xiao Bai some grass. He also secretly fed her some rabbit food. He'd bought the food at the mall, but he didn't dare take it out for fear his younger brother would find out. After washing up, he rode his bike to the farmers' market to queue up for veggies. Meng Si Ning wasn't picky; he bought whatever vegetables he could find, secretly taking some more from his space on his way back. He also took out some apples and sent some to Jiang Tang's family. He thanked Aunt Liu for taking care of him during this time.
Liu Xiulan said she didn't want anything. "I'm just helping to look after the house for a few days. You don't have to be polite to me, girl Meng.
