"What's the rush!"
Ye Lingtian said calmly.
"You won't have to wait long!"
As they were talking, a faint fluctuation of spiritual energy suddenly came from the distant starry sky.
Ye Lingtian paused, raised his hand and gently tapped the air, and a communication orb instantly appeared.
"It's news from the Wind and Cloud Pavilion!"
He said in a low voice.
Little Fire immediately jumped over and said excitedly.
"Master, has something happened? You must be looking! Perhaps another evil spirit has appeared!"
Ye Lingtian nodded and injected his divine sense into the communication sphere. Immediately, a hurried voice came from the sphere.
"Nine Heavens Emperor, something terrible has happened! Our base in the Tian Shu Star Region has been attacked. It is suspected that a high-level expert from an extraterrestrial demon has made the move. Our base has already fallen. Please send reinforcements as soon as possible!"
Xiao Huo's eyes lit up when he heard this, and he shouted excitedly.
"Master, did you hear that? A big fish is coming! Let's hurry, I can't hold it in any longer!"
Ye Lingtian ignored it and simply waved his hand to put away the communication orb.
He turned and took a step, and the void beneath his feet instantly cracked open, revealing a teleportation channel.
Let's go!
He said it calmly.
Little Fire immediately followed excitedly.
"Master, should we hurry up this time? I can't wait to get this going!"
The Tian Shu Star Region, originally the headquarters of the Feng Yun Pavilion, has now become a battlefield.
Countless ruined buildings are scattered across the planet's surface, and the air is thick with the stench of blood.
"Damn it, these demons are too strong! We can't stop them at all!"
A disciple of the Fengyun Pavilion, covered in blood, gripped his longsword tightly as he struggled against a monster.
"Don't retreat! If you retreat any further, you'll have no way to survive!"
Another disciple gritted his teeth and shouted, but his voice was already weak.
Just when they were almost in despair, a dazzling light descended from the sky, like a sharp sword piercing straight into the battlefield.
In the light, Ye Lingtian's figure slowly appeared.
"The Heavenly Emperor has arrived!"
Hope immediately ignited in one of the disciples' eyes.
"We're saved!"
Ye Lingtian didn't say much. He raised his hand and waved it lightly, and a seven-colored sword light swept out, instantly turning the monster in front of him into ashes.
He turned and glanced at the injured disciples, then said calmly.
"Retreat to a safe area!"
"yes!"
The disciples nodded hurriedly, not daring to delay in the slightest, and quickly retreated.
"Master, I'll go deal with those guys first!"
Little Fire excitedly leaped up, the flames on its tail transforming into a raging inferno, hurtling straight towards the center of the battlefield.
"Ahhh! This fire is too intense! Help!"
The monsters let out shrill screams and scattered in all directions, but no matter how fast they ran, they could not escape the pursuit of the Nine Yang Heavenly Fire.
"Let's see if you dare to be so arrogant again!"
Little Fire shouted triumphantly.
"Let's see if my fire is tougher than your lives!"
Ye Lingtian stood still, his gaze fixed on the depths of the battlefield.
There was a thick black fog there, and a tall figure could be vaguely seen standing quietly, seemingly watching this side.
"Finally decided to show your face?"
Ye Lingtian sneered, raised his hand, and a long sword appeared in his hand.
"Nine Heavens Emperor!"
The figure in the black mist suddenly spoke, its voice hoarse.
"You really came!"
"Enough with the nonsense!"
Ye Lingtian said calmly.
"I am giving you only one chance: retreat voluntarily, or die!"
The figure let out a low laugh.
"Nine Heavens Emperor, you may be strong, but this star field is already the territory of our extraterrestrial demons. Do you think you can change anything by yourself?"
Ye Lingtian did not answer, but simply raised his hand and waved it, sending a sword light piercing through the air and straight into the black mist.
The figure in the black mist was clearly prepared, waving its hand to create a pitch-black barrier that barely blocked the sword light.
However, the barrier trembled violently and clearly could not hold for long.
"Nine Heavens Emperor, do you truly intend to be our enemy?!"
The figure's voice carried a hint of panic.
"I, the Emperor, never waste words with useless trash!"
Ye Lingtian's tone was icy as he swung his longsword down once more.
The sword light poured down like a cascading silver river, completely enveloping the black mist and annihilating the figure within it.
The battlefield finally returned to calm, leaving only faint fluctuations of spiritual energy in the air.
"Master, it's done again!"
Little Fire happily jumped back to Ye Lingtian's side, the flames on its tail still leaping endlessly.
"But these guys are really fragile; they couldn't even last for the time it takes for two incense sticks to burn!"
Ye Lingtian turned and looked into the distance.
"The extraterrestrial demons will not give up easily, and I, the Emperor, will not give them a chance to breathe!"
Just as the Tian Shu Star Region returned to a brief period of calm, the support disciples of the Feng Yun Pavilion arrived one after another from the teleportation array, cleaning up the battlefield with faces full of fear.
An elder from the Fengyun Pavilion stepped out of the formation and immediately stepped forward to pay his respects when he saw Ye Lingtian.
"Nine Heavens Emperor, thank you for your help! If you hadn't arrived in time, we would probably have been wiped out!"
Ye Lingtian glanced at him indifferently.
"Now is not the time to thank them."
Tell me, where did these demons come from?
The elder's face showed a hint of bitterness, and he quickly cupped his hands and said.
"Heavenly Emperor, these demons are attacking from the direction of the Star Rift Valley in the northwest."
