Ye Lingtian turned and left with Xiao Huo. After walking a few steps, Xiao Huo spoke.
"Master, I must say, the Azure Lotus Sect is incredibly weak. They can't even stop a demon. How have they managed to survive until now?"
Ye Lingtian said calmly.
"It's already quite an achievement that they've managed to hold on until now!"

Xiao Huo grinned and added another sentence.
"Master, you're really amazing! You took that guy down with just a casual sword strike. So cool! When will I be able to master such skills?"
Ye Lingtian glanced at it.
"Stop talking nonsense and focus on your training!"
"Alright, alright, don't rush me, I'll practice as soon as I get back!"
Little Fire muttered something and obediently followed behind him.
Along the way, Xiao Huo kept muttering about today's battle and rambled on about a bunch of random things.
Ye Lingtian listened and couldn't help but shake his head, but a slight smile appeared on his lips.
After leaving the Azure Lotus Sect with Xiao Huo, Ye Lingtian did not rush on his way, but instead walked slowly along the edge of the mountain range.
Little Fire followed along, hopping and skipping, muttering to himself.
"Master, I'm wondering why there are more and more of these demons? I feel like they're everywhere lately. Is there some kind of internal strife in their lair, and they want to come out and cause some trouble?"
"Their methods are diverse, but their goals are very clear!"
Ye Lingtian spoke calmly.
"These intrusions are just part of their strategy to distract us; their true purpose is much more hidden!"
"Oh dear, now that you mention it, I'm even more curious! I wonder if they're afraid of you and trying to stall for time?"
Little Fire tilted his head back and asked.
"Afraid of me?"
Ye Lingtian smiled slightly.
"They haven't realized the danger yet. They're not afraid of me, but rather that they don't have enough time!"
"Oh! I see!"
Xiao Huo nodded, then feigned a sigh.
"To be honest, those demons are really stupid. They'll fall into our hands sooner or later. But Master, I think no matter how well they hide, they'll eventually slip up. Then we can wipe them out in one fell swoop!"
Ye Lingtian glanced at it, but didn't reply. Instead, he raised his finger and pointed to a mountain hollow in front of him.
"Little fire, there's movement over there!"
Little Fire immediately perked up its ears and its eyes lit up.
"Where? Is there another demon? Let me go first this time! I need to practice!"
Ye Lingtian shook his head.
"It doesn't seem like a demon, but I'm not sure."
Let's go take a look!
The two arrived near the mountain hollow and found a group of monks dressed in tattered clothes gathered on a bare patch of ground. They looked extremely flustered.
There seemed to be a teleportation array beneath their feet, but it was clearly damaged, with dim runes and almost no spiritual power.
"Quick! Try again! This time it has to work!"
An elderly man with white hair and beard stamped his feet, his face full of anxiety.
The young cultivators around him nodded in agreement, diligently channeling their dwindling spiritual energy into the formation.
Xiao Huo leaned over for a look and sneered.

Ye Lingtian waved his hand and stepped forward.

His voice was calm, yet possessed an irresistible authority.
The group of cultivators turned around abruptly, and the moment they saw Ye Lingtian, they were all stunned.
The old man's eyes widened, and after a long while, he stammered out his words.
"You...you are...."
"Nine Heavens Emperor!"
A young monk said in a low voice, his voice full of disbelief.
"Your Majesty the Nine Heavens Emperor!"
The old man finally came to his senses and was so excited that he almost knelt down.
"What are you doing here? We...we're in big trouble!"
Explain yourself!
Ye Lingtian stopped and glanced at the array beneath their feet.
"Is this formation for escaping?"
"Yes...yes!"
The old man nodded repeatedly.
"Your Majesty, there is a group of extraterrestrial demons' minions in the forest ahead. They have blocked our way. We tried to activate this teleportation array to escape, but the array is severely damaged and we have failed several times!"
"Oh, I see!"
Little Fire came closer and patted the edge of the formation with its paw.
"This piece of junk is so broken, it's no wonder it can't be used more than a few times!"
The old man looked embarrassed and quickly said...
