Little Fire listened with great interest, its tail wagging incessantly.
"Master, this sounds interesting! Ancient treasures? Evil energy? I think this place either hides something incredible, or it's a demon's lair buried right below!"

Ye Lingtian said calmly, then turned to look at Yu Changqing.
"Sect Master Yu, lead the way."

The walls inside the passage were covered with dense ancient runes, each rune emitting a faint spiritual light that illuminated the path ahead.
"Master, these runes seem to be part of an array?"
Little Fire couldn't help but ask in a low voice.
"Yes, it's for suppressing the power beneath the spirit pool!"
Ye Lingtian said slowly.
"However, the power of these runes has begun to weaken, and if they are not repaired in time, they may become completely ineffective!"
"Then we'd better hurry!"
Little Fire licked its paws.
"If we can't suppress it, what if there really is some great monster down there? Wouldn't we be busy for ages?"

Ye Lingtian's tone was cold, yet carried an undeniable air of authority.
"The power within this formation is not ordinary evil energy, but a deeper abyssal aura. Once touched, the consequences will be unimaginable!"
Xiao Huo shrank back, not daring to say anything more, and silently followed behind Ye Lingtian, nervously staring at the magic array.
Ye Lingtian stepped towards the magic array, raised his hand and set up several barriers to completely isolate the surrounding black energy.
Then, he stood in the center of the magic circle and whispered.
"Come out, I know you're here!"
Before the words were finished, the black shadows in those dark red spirit stones suddenly began to churn violently, and a low roar echoed throughout the entire space.
Immediately afterwards, a mass of pitch-black evil energy surged out from the spirit stone and condensed into a blurry figure.
"The Nine Heavens Emperor..."
The figure spoke in a low voice, which was gratingly hoarse.
