Ye Lingtian stepped in, and Little Fire followed closely behind, its tail swaying slightly, showing some excitement.

The shadowy figure's voice was hoarse.
"You dare to set foot deep within the Heavenly Cloud Tower, attempting to uncover its secrets... Are you prepared to face death?"
"Master, this guy is incredibly arrogant!"
Little Fire raised its tail and its four claws burst into golden heavenly fire.
"It dares to threaten you? Let me handle it, I guarantee I'll burn it to ashes!"
"No rush!"
Ye Lingtian coldly raised his hand, his gaze fixed coldly on the dark figure.
"Who are you? Why are you hiding here?"
The dark figure let out a strange laugh, its body twisting and turning amidst the evil aura.
"Who am I? The Nine Heavens Emperor! You, a dignified Heavenly Emperor, can't even recognize who I am? Too bad, this will be the last time you hear my voice!"
Before he finished speaking, the black shadow suddenly spread out, transforming into dozens of tentacled evil energies that instantly attacked Ye Lingtian and Xiao Huo.
Each tentacle exuded a corrosive power, and wherever it passed, even the runes were corroded and turned black.
"Hey! Master, how dare this thing make the first move?"
