Ye Lingtian spoke in a calm tone.
"You never know, the demons aren't always smart, maybe they have some good stuff that we'd like!"
Little Fire licked his lips.
"Should I go ahead and scout ahead first?"
"Need not!"
Ye Lingtian raised his hand, and an invisible barrier immediately appeared around him, blocking the small fire back.
"The aura of extraterrestrial demons here is too strong; wandering around aimlessly will only waste time!"
"Oh dear, Master, you're being too cautious. It's not like this is the first time I've accompanied you to a awful place like this. You don't trust me at all!"
Little Fire lay on the ground with a wronged expression, scratching at the broken stones in the crack with its paws.
"Enough talk, we've arrived!"
Ye Lingtian stopped and looked up ahead.
Before me stood a dilapidated hall, its main gate long since destroyed, leaving only ruins.
"This is the Blood Moon Hall's lair? It's so shabby!"
Xiao Huo raised his head, tilted his head, and looked around.
"Master, do you think anyone is still alive here?"
"Go inside and you'll see!"
Ye Lingtian stepped through the door, completely ignoring the malicious gazes around him.
As soon as they entered the hall, the runes on the ground suddenly lit up, and a purplish-black light instantly enveloped the entire space.
A colossal figure rose from the ground, its entire body engulfed in dark purple flames.
"Another one coming to die? Heh, this is interesting!"
The figure let out a hoarse laugh, the sound carrying an indescribable ferocity.
"Master, this guy seems pretty arrogant!"
Little Fire jumped onto Ye Lingtian's shoulder and pouted.
"How about I give it a try?"
"Need not!"
Ye Lingtian's gaze darkened slightly.
