Chapter 30 Special Halo

"Activate the deconstruction halo."

The moment the deconstruction halo was activated, Linde did not sense any change; everything seemed the same as before.

Just as Linde was puzzled by this, he shifted his gaze to his own armor.

In an instant, a stream of information flowed into Linde's mind. It was about the craftsmanship of the armor and the method of enchanting it. Everything about this armor slowly unfolded in Linde's mind.

"Is it an appraisal? No... it's even stronger than an appraisal; it's a true deconstruction."

The aura's effect was far more powerful than Lind had anticipated; with just one glance, Lind had already come up with countless ways to utilize it.

For example, if Linde could directly crack the manufacturing methods of all products currently on the market, that alone would make them incredibly wealthy.

Not to mention, this halo doesn't seem to affect my vision normally, and it's more flexible and easier to use than the previous activation halo.

The only drawback is that the aura's coverage area is very small, only 5 meters. Beyond 5 meters, even if Linde can see it, he cannot trigger the deconstruction aura's effect.

Even so, it's already ridiculously strong.

Just as Linde was feeling smug, he discovered that this deconstruction halo could actually shrink! Just like the previous two halos.

Linde eagerly absorbed the halo into his body, anticipating some strange changes.

The result was somewhat disappointing. After narrowing down the area, even the last 5 meters were gone, and Linde could only obtain structural information about the object through physical touch.

Just as Linde was feeling disappointed, he inadvertently used his mental power to see if it would be of any use.

In the blink of an eye, the enchanted armor that Linde was stroking turned into a steel ingot and a pile of materials.

"!? Huh? You can use it like that?"

By activating a portion of one's mental energy, one can deconstruct an object into its original form.

A bold idea suddenly popped into Linde's mind: he could directly restore any man-made object he could touch to its original form.

From enchanted equipment to enchanted city walls, a single touch combined with mental energy can restore them to their original state.

That's incredibly powerful.

Looking at the enchanting materials before him, Lind recalled the oracle left to him by the god of magic:

"Could the second half of the sentence, 'Everything in all things is deconstructed here,' refer to me?"

Judging from the background history provided by the system, the oracle itself should have granted me a deconstruction ability, and this blessing was captured by the halo system and turned into a new halo for me.

It seems that Brother Tong is stronger; he can even capture and utilize the blessings of the gods.

At this point, Linde began to ponder again: since the latter part of the sentence refers to me, then the former divine oracle should also refer to me, right?

"All of magic is converging once again... Is there any way I haven't explored this aura effect yet?"

Linde fell into deep thought, but couldn't figure it out after a long while, so he decided to just try it out.

"Since it's related to magic, let's test it out with magic. Magic can be considered an inorganic substance, right..."

Linde channeled his mental energy, using what he had learned before, to draw some magic from the air and cast a cleansing spell on himself.

The light from the Cleansing spell flashed by, but the feeling of being cleansed and lightened did not materialize; Lind still felt dirty.

Just as Linde was wondering what was going on, he discovered that some tiny crystals had appeared on his body.

Linde raised his arm to examine it closely and discovered that it shimmered with a dazzling light.

"It's a color that looks a bit like a magic net... Could this be crystallized magic power?"

Linde tried to touch the magic crystals, but with one poke, they turned into powder and disappeared completely.

"It's a bit fragile... but it's also very interesting."

Since the cleansing spell failed to take effect, it was instead decomposed into a magic crystal by the aura's effect.

"Perhaps this is a magical countermeasure? Or could it be used to crystallize magic?"

After understanding it, Linde tried it again. This time, instead of using the magic covering his body, he used an external spell: water creation.

Linde took the bowl from which he had just drunk his medicine and drank it all in one gulp, since he couldn't waste it.

Try using the Water Creation spell in the bowl and see how much crystal magic it produces.

With a flash of magical light, a tiny magic crystal bead appeared in the bowl.

"Hiss... That's not right. How come it's only this little? The Cleansing spell just now consumed less mental energy than his, and the crystals were more than this."

Lind stared into thought as the crystalline magic rolled around in the bowl.

"The situation has stabilized. There's no sign of it breaking down no matter how much it rolls around. The difference between the two is because there must be some variables that we haven't taken into account."

Linde looked at the crystal dust on his body and suddenly realized the problem.

"Why are there still crystal fragments? Didn't they just disappear?"

Crystallization particles were constantly precipitating from his body. Although the process was very slow, Linde still managed to seize the opportunity.

Linde got up, shook off the crystal dust from his body, waited a while, and seeing that no more crystals were forming, he used a cleansing spell on himself again.

The cleansing spell failed to work as before, and instead, a thin layer of crystalline powder appeared on her body.

"I see, I get it now! Hahaha..."

Only a small portion of this crystalline residue was produced by the Cleansing spell; the vast majority of it likely originated from the activating aura on one's own body.

The activation halo and the deconstruction halo should be separate entities, and there should be no reaction between them. The cleaning technique used later plays the role of a reactant in this process.

The covering magic broke down the barrier, briefly connecting the two through magic, thus creating this thin layer of crystalline powder.

Can one's own bright aura also reflect this?

Linde activated a bright aura, but only the smallest possible range.

Just as Lind had predicted, neither halo reacted.

Linde cast another cleansing spell on himself, and in an instant, magic crystals grew wildly, quickly covering Linde's entire body.

Linde quickly turned off the bright halo, barely managing to stop its rampant growth.

In just two seconds, Lind was completely covered by the crystallized magic, almost turning him into a crystallized magic statue.

Linde exerted some force and found that the crystals were quite hard; it would be impossible to break free without considerable effort.

Just as Linde was struggling to break free from the crystal, the commotion inside the tent finally attracted the attention of those outside.

"Lord Linde, are you alright? I heard a lot of noise coming from inside the tent."

Astaire, who had just entered, looked at Lind, who was trapped inside the crystal and looked embarrassed, with a blank expression.
