Chapter 208 First Taste

Lind's kiss began gently and restrained, with a hint of probing and reassurance.

But when he felt Leonis's awkward yet desperate and passionate response, the suppressed flame was instantly ignited!

He was no longer satisfied with just scratching the surface.

The church's silence was broken by low breathing and the soft sound of dripping candle wax. Spectacular holy light streamed through the stained-glass windows, casting fragmented yet sacred shadows on the cold marble floor and on the overlapping figures.

When the storm subsided, all that remained was a desolate stillness.

Leonis slumped on the heavy, spread-out clerical robes, her silver hair damp with sweat and clinging to her smooth forehead and neck. Her azure eyes stared blankly at the blurry murals on the dome, her chest heaving violently, as if she had just experienced a battle that was even more exhausting than the fight against the Shadow Abyss monsters.

The initial pain intertwined with indescribable, extreme pleasure completely overwhelmed her last bit of strength and burned away all her chaotic thoughts, leaving only a near-exhausted blankness.

Linde looked down at her, brushing away the sweaty strands of hair on her cheek with his fingertips, his eyes filled with a hint of post-coital tenderness and satisfaction.

This resolute and steel-like Holy Punishment Knight has now shed all his armor and defenses, revealing an unprecedented, breathtaking vulnerability and tenderness.

He carefully tidied her disheveled clothes, his movements as gentle as if they were fragile treasures.

When her fingertips inevitably touched her warm skin, Leonis trembled unconsciously, let out a muffled moan, and then fell into a deeper sleep, her breathing becoming long and steady.

Exhaustion overwhelmed her completely.

Linde carefully picked her up in his arms.

Her body was lighter than he had imagined; she nestled in his arms like a weary swan, oblivious to everything around her.

He held her in his arms as if she were a lost dream that had been found again, and silently walked out of the light and shadow of the icon, through the empty prayer benches, and pushed open the heavy side door of the church.

A cool night breeze, carrying the fresh scent of grass and trees, dissipated the rich incense and lingering sensuality within the church.

The small building next to the church, which was reserved for the clergy, was quiet.

Just as Linde carried Leonis to the door, the wooden door creaked open from the inside.

The novice nuns, Rune and Koya, were clearly awakened by the noise at the door. Rubbing their sleepy eyes, still wearing their thin nightgowns, they instantly widened their eyes and were wide awake when they saw that it was the lord standing at the door, and Leonis in his arms, her clothes slightly wrinkled, clearly in a deep sleep, and her cheeks still flushed with a strange blush!

"M-Master?!" Rune's voice was filled with disbelief and astonishment as her gaze swept back and forth between Leonis's sleeping face and Lind's calm expression.

Koya instinctively covered her mouth, her eyes filled with shock and a barely perceptible understanding—Leonise's evening prayers tonight were far too long.

And...the way she looks now...

Linde offered no explanation, but simply carried Leonis straight into the small building, heading familiarly towards her room. His steps were steady, carrying an undeniable air of authority.

“She’s too tired.” Lind’s voice was low and calm, without any discernible emotion, as he gently placed Leonis on her hard bed covered with plain linen sheets.

He pulled the thin blanket over her and carefully covered her up, his movements as natural as if he had done it a thousand times before.

Rune and Koya stood helplessly at the door, barely daring to breathe, their eyes fixed on Lind's every move.

“Take good care of her,” Linde straightened up, his gaze sweeping over the two silent novice nuns, his tone carrying a gentle yet unyielding command, “Let her rest well, don’t disturb her. If she wakes up and asks, just say… she was too weak during evening prayers, and I brought her back.”

"Yes, yes, sir!" Rune and Koya hurriedly nodded in agreement, their hearts still pounding.

The lord returned late at night carrying his sister Leonis, who was clearly in an abnormal state... This was a huge amount of information! But they dared not question it at all, much less ask any more questions.

Linde took one last look at Leonis, who was sleeping soundly on the bed, her face looking exceptionally peaceful and beautiful after all her burdens had been lifted.

A fleeting hint of tenderness crossed his eyes, quickly replaced by a deep gaze.

He didn't linger. He turned around, strode away from the small building, and his figure quickly disappeared into the shadows of the castle.

There are still people waiting for him.

…………

The door to the master bedroom in the castle was silently pushed open. The embers in the fireplace emitted a warm, orange-red glow, casting an ambiguous halo over the room.

Nazra was not asleep. She reclined on a large chaise lounge covered with thick animal hides, wearing only a loosely draped Linde silk nightgown, her long silver hair flowing over her shoulders like moonlight.

She was toying with an exquisite bone goblet filled with amber-colored liquid.

Hearing the door open, she lazily raised her eyes, her amethyst-like eyes gleaming with an all-seeing light in the dim light, and a half-smile curled at the corner of her lips.

"Have you calmed your lost lamb, my lord?"

Her voice carried a hint of husky languor, like tiny claws gently scratching at the heart.

Linde didn't answer, but turned and closed the door, locking it. He walked straight towards her, his steps carrying an undisguised aggressiveness, like someone returning from a hunt.

It was as if there were invisible fires crackling in the air.

As Nazra watched him approach, her smile deepened, carrying a wild provocation.

She swirled the wine in her glass, tilted her head back, and downed the rest of the wine in one gulp, the graceful curve of her throat rising and falling in the light and shadow.

The next second, Lind had already bent down and pressed down on him!

Like a beast locking onto its prey, he charged forward fiercely, carrying the still-burning heat from the church!

Hmm!

Nazla let out a short, muffled groan, then responded enthusiastically.

The wine glass clattered onto the carpet. Her long, strong arms instantly wrapped around his neck, her nails almost digging into the muscles of his back.

The belt of the silk robe was easily ripped open and slipped down, revealing a perfectly naked body underneath, sculpted as if by moonlight.

The flickering firelight from the fireplace magnified and projected the intertwined figures of the two onto the wall, like a wild dance in an ancient cave.

Suppressed growls, rapid breathing, the soft sounds of skin rubbing together, and the occasional seductive moans emanating from Nazra, carrying the unique allure of the fox clan, intertwined and replaced all language.

…………

When the intense struggle finally ended, both Linde and Nazra were exhausted.

Nazra leaned lazily against Linde, her fingers tracing random circles on his chest.

"You beast, you're especially ferocious tonight."

Linde chuckled softly but did not respond.
