After sending Weiss away and having her led to a new room by a maid, Lind did not immediately return to the command room or the laboratory.
A rare, uncomputational emotional fluctuation, a warmth belonging to a "human being," flashed in his deep purple eyes.
He turned and walked through the cold alloy corridor inside the Steel Sky, through a hidden access door, back to the relatively warm and lively lord's inner fortress of Blackrock Fortress.
The air inside the fortress was filled with calming incense and a faint milky scent, creating a world apart from the hustle and bustle of the construction site outside.
Lind first went to Alice's room.
Pushing open the door, Alice was half-reclining on a large, soft couch under a gentle magical glow, with thick velvet cushions behind her.
Her already slender figure now appears even thinner, with only her prominently protruding belly indicating the presence of new life.
Her beautiful long blonde hair was loosely draped over her shoulders, and her face showed a hint of pregnancy fatigue, but her gray-blue eyes immediately lit up with a gentle light when she saw Lind.
“Linde…”
Her voice was soft, with a hint of dependence.
The pregnancy symptoms were indeed more difficult for her than for most people, and she could only rest most of the time.
Linde walked to the bedside and sat down, his cold fingers unconsciously becoming gentle as he touched her taut abdomen.
He could clearly sense the vibrant energy of the little life inside, as well as the burden Alice's body was bearing.
"Thanks a lot."
Linde's voice was low, with a hint of barely perceptible tenderness.
He leaned down and placed a light kiss on her smooth forehead. Linde held a different kind of respect and tenderness for this woman who had always been his wise companion.
Alice squinted comfortably, like a cat being stroked.
"It's alright... it's just that this little guy is too naughty, he's always restless at night."
She took Linde's hand and placed it on her belly, just in time to feel a strong fetal movement.
Linde paused slightly, a strange, blood-connected feeling passing through his fingertips—an experience he had never had when he controlled countless steel creations.
"He is healthy and strong."
Lind commented, with a hint of satisfaction in his tone, "You did a great job."
The two whispered tenderly for a while. Lin De carefully adjusted the pillow for her and used his mental energy to soothe the soreness in her back before getting up and leaving amidst her reluctant gaze.
Then he found Nazra and Leonis.
Unlike Alice, who needed to rest, both of them had fully recovered from childbirth.
Sufficient rest, careful recuperation, and their own excellent physical condition made them like delicate flowers nourished by rain and dew, radiating even more dazzling brilliance.
Nazla was in the nursery, humming a soft fox-people lullaby and gently rocking the cradle.
Her silver-gray fur became even more lustrous and smooth, her figure more voluptuous and alluring than in her youth, and a soft maternal glow enveloped her brows. Yet, when she inadvertently glanced at Lind, a hint of the natural allure of a fox spirit was revealed.
When she saw Linde come in, she put a finger to her lips as if to whisper, a gentle smile playing on her lips.
In the other cradle next to them, Leonis's youngest son, Alan, was already asleep, his little fists clenched tightly.
Leonis herself was not in the room.
Linde walked over quietly, looked down at his daughter who was sleeping soundly in the cradle and had a fluffy silver-gray tail, and his eyes softened for a moment.
He reached out and gently touched Nazla's smooth and delicate cheek with the back of his fingers.
Nazla gently rubbed her cheek against his fingers, her eyes full of affection.
"Where is Leonis?" Lind asked in a low voice.
"They're in the training room next door."
Nazla chuckled softly, "She said that after lying down for so long, her bones are almost rusty, and she absolutely has to go out and move around."
Linde raised an eyebrow, signaling Nazla to continue looking after the child, while he turned and walked towards the small training room next door.
As soon as I pushed open the door, a wave of heat mixed with the vibrant life force rushed towards me.
In the center of the training room, Leonis, dressed only in a close-fitting training uniform, was drenched in sweat, her silver hair tied up high. She was holding an unsharpened training broadsword and practicing the basic swordsmanship of the Holy Light Church.
Her movements were swift and powerful, each move showcasing the graceful lines of her muscles as they stretched and tightened.
Her postpartum figure is even more stunning, with full breasts, a slender yet strong waist, a perky round bottom, and long, firm thighs, all gleaming with a healthy glow under the sweat.
The holy light energy flowed naturally with her movements, not appearing sacred, but rather adding a touch of wild charm to her.
Hearing the door open, she stopped abruptly and turned around.
Upon seeing Linde, her azure eyes instantly lit up, like jewels in the sunlight, and a bright, untroubled smile bloomed on her face, with a hint of flush from exercise, making her look incredibly energetic.
"Linde! You've come!"
Her voice was clear and cheerful. "Look at me, am I fully recovered? I feel great!" She even proudly bent her arm to show off her biceps, which had become firm and beautiful again.
Lind's gaze slowly swept over the stunning curves outlined by her sweat-soaked training clothes, a burning admiration flashing in his eyes.
A long-lost, purely physiological urge, mixed with a sense of control and possession, rose in his heart.
He really hasn't relaxed in a long time.
The threat of Oak, the mysteries of the Shadow Abyss, the construction of the city, the appearance of Weiss... a series of events required his planning and calculation.
Now, looking at his two lovers who were fully prepared and even more charming because of the child they were carrying, Linde was unusually in high spirits.
"It seems like the recovery is going well."
Lind stepped forward, his voice deep and magnetic. He reached out, his fingertips tracing Leonis's sweaty neck, feeling her vibrant pulse and warm skin.
Leonis blushed even more under his gaze, but boldly met his eyes, her gaze filled with anticipation and adoration.
Nazra gently hugged Linde's waist from behind, her soft body pressed against his back, her voice soft and seductive:
"...You seem to be in a good mood today?"
Linde chuckled softly.
“Yes, that’s right,” he replied, his purple eyes gleaming with undisguised desire.
Before he finished speaking, his powerful mental energy stirred slightly, and the door to the training room quietly locked, while the lights inside were adjusted to be even dimmer and more ambiguous.
Leonis let out a soft gasp, which was immediately silenced by Lind's kiss.
Her body stiffened at first, then quickly softened, and she responded enthusiastically, the training broadsword in her hand falling to the ground with a clang.
Nazra smiled and began to remove Lind's complicated outer robe, her fluffy tail swaying happily as it brushed against Lind's calves.
The long-lost passion was ignited instantly, like dry wood meeting a raging fire.
The thick carpet in the training room became a temporary battlefield.
Linde enjoys the "battle" with his absolute physical strength and control.
Leonis was passionate and unrestrained, like the summer sun. Every time she responded, it was filled with powerful and joyful shouts. Holy light flowed unconsciously around her when she was extremely excited, as if coating her with a layer of radiance.
Nazla, on the other hand, was gentle and compliant, like a warm breeze, exuding charm that made people intoxicated.
Under Linde's guidance, the two displayed amazing chemistry and harmony, all for the sake of giving their beloved the ultimate enjoyment.
The intense sounds mingled together, and the air was thick with the scent of passion.
It seemed as if Linde wanted to pour all the pressure he had accumulated during this period and his insights into the creation of life into this exhilarating lovemaking.
After an unknown amount of time, the clouds dispersed and the rain stopped.
Leonis lay limply on the carpet, her wheat-colored skin flushed, breathing contentedly, not wanting to move a single finger.
Nazra pressed her cheek against his muscular chest, her tail swishing idly, her eyes glazed over, and a satiated, seductive smile playing on her lips.
Linde leaned against the wall, watching the two hardworking people, and his mental tension was greatly relieved.
"It seems... he has indeed fully recovered."
Linde's voice carried a languid and satisfied tone.
Leonis barely raised her hand, making a gesture to indicate "very strong," before letting it fall weakly, which made Lind chuckle.
At this moment, there were no lords, no generals, and no unfathomable powerhouses.
Only husbands and wives, men and women, enjoy the most primal and intimate tenderness and peace.
For Lind, who is always calculating and scheming, this is a rare and necessary time to relax and recharge.
He cares about his offspring, and he also cares about the women who bore him children and gave him warmth and affection.
This warmth is an indispensable, human anchor point in his cold calculations.
