Chapter 13
The next day, the family driver returned to work and headed to the Vilian group exhibition.
Shen Yizhi sat in the back seat of the Maybach, bored and browsing her phone. Many people commented on the circle of friends she posted yesterday.
Most of them were teasing and funny. Shen Yizhi laughed so hard that he couldn't stand this group of bad friends, so he simply hid this one.
She often posts on WeChat Moments, and it takes a long time to scroll through her homepage. She is not as mysterious as Pei Yanhe, whose posts are only visible for three days.
Chen Yizhi displays it openly, and sometimes when I have nothing to do, I can't help but admire it.
I unexpectedly discovered that the all-black avatar appeared in the likes list of every post she posted on WeChat Moments.
——It rained in London today. I didn’t bring an umbrella and ran all the way home with the drawing paper. As expected, both I and the drawing paper got wet???
——Suddenly I want to eat Chinese food, forget it, actually I miss home???
Scroll down and read the countless mumblings she had during her studies in the UK.
All accompanied by the shadow of a black head.
It was as if every aspect of her life had been filled with Pei Yanhe's presence without her knowing.
Shen Yizhi curled his lips, opened the chat box, and typed a message to him.
[Pei Yanhe, when can you show me your Moments from just three days ago?]
After a while, the other side replied.
Freedom: [?]
A very simple and indifferent question mark.
I am very happy today: [You liked so many of my Moments]
Zhi is very happy today: [Why don’t you let me see yours? ]
Freedom: [No]
Shen Yizhi just didn't believe that he had never posted on WeChat Moments. The more she did this, the more curious she became, and she was about to reply.
"Miss, we're here." The driver, Uncle Wang, looked through the rearview mirror and reminded her.
Seeing the uniquely designed art gallery through the car window, Shen Yizhi put Pei Yanhe's message aside for the time being, turned off the phone, put it in his pocket, and got out of the car.
"Uncle Wang, come pick me up at 5pm."
After giving the instructions, Shen Yizhi showed the invitation to the staff and walked in.
The exhibition is dimly lit, with paintings of all sizes lined up, most of which are landscapes and pastoral scenes, but the effects presented vary.
Because it was a preview, not many people were invited into the exhibition hall, so it was sparsely populated and silent.
Chen Yizhi was quite absorbed in looking at the painting. When he reached the corner and came to his senses, he caught a glimpse of two figures in the distance out of the corner of his eye.
Looking closely, I saw a man and a woman, both of whom were acquaintances.
Cheng Zhuhan stood next to a man who was a head taller than her, with a shy look on her face, but pretending to be calm as she introduced the art exhibition.
Pei Yanhe beside him was different from before. He was now wearing a straight black suit, with broad shoulders and long legs, a sharp outline, and high and deep eyebrows, revealing aloofness and indifference.
He was dressed in a suit and tie, looking straight and handsome, and his every move was dignified and casual.
Compared with usual, he looks a bit more stable and mature.
There were many staff members around them, most of them holding their breath, listening to Cheng Zhuhan's explanation, and then observing Pei Yanhe's expression calmly, trying to see the slightest relaxation on his meticulous face, but unfortunately there was none.
The person who was sending WeChat messages in the last second appears in front of you in the next second.
Shen Yizhi was still a little dazed.
Why is Pei Yanhe here?
And he's dressed so respectably.
They were a huge group of people, and Pei Yanhe was surrounded by them in the center. He had an outstanding temperament and it was estimated that he was working.
Shen Yizhi thought for a long time and didn't notice that her eyes were always on him.
Perhaps the gaze was too scorching, Pei Yanhe looked over keenly following the source and stared at each other from a distance.
His originally calm peach blossom eyes became shimmering the moment he saw her, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly in an unruly arc, as if a breeze was blowing past, making it impossible to look away.
Shen Yizhi's scalp tingled as if she had been electrocuted. She had to admit that Pei Yanhe did have a good appearance, especially those peach blossom eyes that seemed to be able to captivate people.
I don’t know if it was because he felt guilty for peeking or for some other reason, but he quickly averted his gaze and turned away.
I happened to stop in front of an oil painting of blue-purple hydrangeas, blooming softly and warmly, looking elegant and vivid on the canvas.
"Do you like hydrangeas?" Someone suddenly came over and spoke to me.
Shen Yizhi turned his head to see the face clearly, but he didn't recognize this person, "Who are you?"
"I'm here to see the exhibition, too," the man with glasses said with a smile. "You're here alone, would it be convenient for me to get to know you?"
An extremely clichéd way to pick up someone.
Shen Yizhi was about to open his mouth to refuse, but was interrupted by a clear and magnetic male voice.
"Sorry, it's inconvenient."
