Chapter 97 A Girl's Dream

At that moment, a gentle breeze blew past the window, ruffling Wen Mo's messy bangs.

Perhaps she was bewitched, or perhaps her fever had clouded her judgment, but the girl stared intently at Wen Mo's smooth forehead, her eyes lingering on his clothes, her hand clutching his shirt tightly, her face drawing closer...

Chirp.

"Um……"

The girl's heart skipped a beat; the blush on her face did not indicate a fever.

Wenmo's eyelashes trembled, and he slowly opened his eyes.

"What time is it...?" He rubbed his sore eyes, looked out the window at the sun that was already nearing its end, and frowned slightly. "I accidentally slept from morning until afternoon..."

Wen Mo reached out and touched it; the familiar scent puzzled him.

"What is that?"

When he turned around, he found that Xia Lian was already standing behind him, rubbing her sleepy eyes, obviously having just woken up.

"You're awake too." Feeling the tugging at his clothes, Wen Mo reached out and gently stroked her head. Suddenly remembering what had just happened, he asked with a puzzled look, "Xiao Lian, did you do something while I was sleeping?"

Xia Lian paused for a moment, her lifeless eyes seeming to hold a hint of guilt, "No, I don't."

"No? Really?"

Looking into the eyes of the person in front of her, the girl subconsciously clenched the hem of her clothes, turned her head away guiltily, and after a few seconds shook her head innocently.

"Xiao Lian doesn't know."
