Yunluo is very sorry that she forgot the name of this kind black brother. He didn’t need to help everyone, but he was so righteous. So don’t be afraid of black people. They are just different in skin color. Most people are still good.
As for why they had to go to the hotel, Yun Luo and his companions actually didn't have to go to the hotel, but in order to find someone to share a ride and rent a car to go to the desert, they had to go to the hotel.
Yunluo didn't have high hopes of meeting Chinese tourists, so he could only place his hopes on Yuantai. Yunluo had met far more Japanese tourists than Chinese tourists along the way. When Yunluo was in Moshi, Tanzania, he had dinner with six Japanese people. They all said that Yunluo was the only Chinese traveler they had seen in Africa.
Of course, there must be quite a few, but Yun Luo just didn’t see them.
The tent camp of the hotel costs 70 Namibian dollars a day. You can set up a tent without waiting for check-in, which is the most convenient. Yunluo went out to find a place to exchange money and came back.
As expected, Y Yuantai had already found one, in Tokyo, called Hongtai. The three of us discussed which car rental company to find and went out for a walk. Unexpectedly, there was a KFC. We had planned to cook together, but when we saw KFC, we couldn't help but go in and have a meal. It cost more than 30 yuan, so it's okay to be extravagant occasionally.
After eating, I walked around the church and went to a car rental company called Europe, but was told that it was fully booked for the next few days. When I returned to the hotel and was feeling depressed, I met a Japanese person who told me that they booked it online, which was cheap and convenient. Stop talking nonsense and check online.
I found a company called Thirfty. It costs about RMB 400 per day to rent a car including all insurances, excluding fuel. This is the lowest price among all the other companies. It is better than the two-day tour to the Red Desert, which costs 3,000 Namibian dollars! It is still the lowest price, which is RMB 1,800. I quickly decided!
They decided to rent the car for 4 days and picked it up at 12:00 the next day. Hongtai took the money from his credit card and drove away in a two-box Polo. Who would have thought that a difficult journey would happen to them?
First of all, except Yunluo, both of them can drive, but they have never driven a manual transmission car. Yunluo said that they only used manual transmission when they were learning to drive, and later they all used automatic transmission, so they practiced in the open space of the car rental company, and when they felt they were almost ready, they hit the road.
Driving in the city and stalling. This is really nothing, the most amazing thing is that when I was crossing an intersection, it stalled! Fortunately, the car coming over was driving slowly, otherwise I would have been hit!
I was fine practicing driving in the city, and this time I was almost there, finally on the road, going 80 km/h, heading to the next town.
In Namibia, Windu is the only city that can be called a city. The others are too small. Walvis Bay, the second largest city, also has the potential to become a city.
Anyway, we arrived at the first town and bought some food and supplies. We headed for the second town, Solitaire. The journey was smooth and the road conditions were okay. When we passed Solitaire, Yunluo was surprised. This is not even a town. A restaurant, a gas station, and a few houses. That's all. But this is the only way to Sussus. It doesn't matter, let's go to Sussus (Red Desert).
When we arrived at Sossusvlei, the park was already closed at 6 o'clock and would not open until sunrise the next morning, so if you wanted to see the sunrise, you could only sleep in the park and pay a fee of 125 Namibian dollars per person for camping. There was nothing we could do, because we missed the sunset.
Yunluo was shocked again to find hot water for bathing. Namibia’s infrastructure is amazing!
It was pitch black at night with only stars in the sky. The three of us played with Yuan Tai’s camera for a long time. The photos were full of stars. It was great to be in a place without light pollution.
Yunluo was too lazy to set up a tent so he slept in the car. The two of them set up a tent next to the car. At 4:15, Yunluo called them and told them that they had to set out early because it was more than 60 kilometers to the No. 45 sand dune where they were going to watch the sunrise. After everyone set off, they were followed by several cars that also went to watch the sunrise. If you want to travel in Namibia, you really can’t do without a car.
We climbed up the No. 45 sand dune and waited for the sunrise. Yunluo's outfit was so funny, he was wearing a jacket, a fleece, and slippers on his feet, hahahaha.
I have been to Mingsha Mountain in China. The desert is yellow sand, while the desert here is red. But when the sun rose, I didn't feel that shocking. In fact, there are really many things to do in China, but it's a pity that there are too many people.
But when the sun rose, Yunluo knew that he could take off his jacket soon. Damn! This was the point.
Although the sunrise over Dune 45 shocked Yunluo, he was still looking forward to Death Valley and continued driving. When everyone's broken Polo reached the last few kilometers, it really couldn't be driven anymore. If it continued driving, it would definitely get stuck. So he changed to the scenic area car for 100 Nabi and went to Death Valley and Sossusvlei.
Yunluo looked at the sand on the road and asked them, do you think we can get through the last few kilometers if we drive our own cars? The answer is absolutely no, or we can just walk. A 4x4 in front of them got stuck, and they said to Yunluo, look at theirs. Then look at ours.
Arriving at Death Valley, we climbed the sand dunes and first looked at the panoramic view from the top of the dune. As we walked, Yunluo kept complaining, "Why is it so high?" But Yunluo pointed at the highest point in a frenzy, saying that they wanted to go there. They asked Yunluo, "Is Yunluo serious?" Yunluo said to them cheerfully, "iveup." (At this point, they were a little nervous.)
The three of us were so excited that we reached the top in about an hour. The scenery was really spectacular. It was something we had never seen in the deserts in China. It was so beautiful and shocking!
After showing off, he ran down from the top to Death Valley. When he stepped on the sand, it made a sound. Yunluo thought it was like the sound of farting. They called Yunluo vulgar. Y played baseball in Tai University. He brought gloves and baseball with him on the trip. He asked Yunluo to take a photo of him throwing a ball. He did take the photo, but in the end, he didn't know where the ball went. I was depressed for a long time.
Hongtai just kept taking pictures there.
While Yunluo was admiring the combination of dead trees, blue sky and desert, he kept thinking that he was very thirsty. Yunluo's water bottle was out of water. As a result, after taking a few photos, his camera ran out of battery. How could this happen!
Namibia, Death Valley, was Yunluo's dream place. After seeing the photos, I felt that I must visit this place. I didn't expect to actually get here. I had been traveling for more than a year without any plans. I had never thought of coming to Africa, but Yunluo was here. I was so immersed in the scene that Yunluo couldn't believe it.
At this time, there was a caterpillar in front of him. Yun Luo couldn't help but curse, "Fuck, isn't this Death Valley? Who knows how it survived? The caterpillar is still okay."
This place is so beautiful no matter how you take pictures of it, but none of them can cover it all. Only when you are there in person can you feel it. It is so shocking.
There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!
Dry trees, wind-dried land, red sand dunes, and blue sky.
We ran out of water. The weather was so hot. After we had a great time in Death Valley, we took a bus to Sussili. It was very close, but when we got off the bus, we asked the driver where it was. We burst into tears. He said that this was the biggest sand dune. Yunluo looked at them and said, "Do you want to climb it?"
"Just take a look." The two gave the same answer.
I climbed too hard in Death Valley just now and I am exhausted. Now I have no interest in seeing sand dunes no matter how beautiful they are.
After staying for a while, they took the bus back to the parking lot, ate and drank water. Yunluo took bread to feed the birds. When they were almost done, Yuantai pointed to a sign that read "Please do not feed birds". Then the two of them laughed. Yunluo really didn't see it, young man!
We then planned to go to Swakopmund and then Walvis Bay, the second largest city in Namibia, to see flamingos. The two "cities" are about 30 kilometers apart. Accommodation in Swakopmund is cheap, so you can stay longer. With a car, you don't have to worry about anything!
As a result, they made a mistake just after they got out of the Red Desert. The Japanese were too superstitious about GPS. According to Yunluo's understanding, Yunluo told them that there was only one way to get to Whale Bay, and that was passing through Solitaire. He also asked the people at the gas station, but they both believed in GPS. Yunluo watched them driving farther and farther away, but he could do nothing.
I just hope we don’t go too far, and then Yunluo fell asleep. When he woke up, Yuantai told Yunluo that he couldn’t reach Whale Bay today. He had already driven more than 200 kilometers and took the wrong road, but he still didn’t believe it! Finally, he went to a small town to refuel and wanted to buy food, but people said there was no supermarket here. Finally, he asked the person at the gas station again.
He believed that the GPS was wrong. After a long detour, we had to drive back to Solitaire for supplies. We came out of the desert at around 1:00 and drove around until around 6:00. There was no hope of reaching Swa. Well, there was no other way. We didn't want to spend money on the hotel, so we drove the car forward for more than 20 kilometers and parked it on the side of the road to sleep in the car.
Yunluo really doesn't understand why they are so superstitious about electronic products. They don't believe in the road signs. Yunluo can only say that this is all Yunluo's own fault.
