Chapter 1033 Love the Summer

I got lost on my way back to the hotel and almost had to ask the police for help. Fortunately, I found my way back to the hotel.

This day's itinerary is basically in the city of Sydney. After breakfast, we went to Hyde Park. Hyde Park, for Australia, which has only a history of more than 200 years, should be a very old park. As a model of London style, there are large clean lawns and towering trees over a hundred years old.

Gentle hills and Archibald Fountain, the forest-like greenway... Sitting on a park bench, looking at St. Mary's Cathedral across the street, this is Sydney. St. Mary's Cathedral is the spiritual home of Sydney's Catholic community. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Sydney.

Built on the site of Sydney's first Catholic church. The cathedral is built of local sandstone, and its "Gothic" architectural style is a legacy of medieval European cathedrals. It was built in 1821, and Catholic priests officially came to Australia in 1820, so St. Mary's Cathedral is also known as the "Mother of Catholic Churches in Australia".

After that, we went to the Royal Botanic Gardens. Visited the Sydney Opera House. I believe everyone knows the Sydney Opera House, also known as the Opera House in the Sea. It stands on the Bennelong Cape in Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, on a small peninsula close to the world-famous Harbour Bridge.

Surrounded by the sea on three sides, the building has a novel and unique shape, majestic and magnificent. Its appearance is like a fleet of ships setting sail, or like large white shells standing on the beach, which is in perfect harmony with the surrounding sea scenery. The decoration inside is all made of cement splicing, which looks simple, but deeply integrates luxury.

For decades, it has always been like this, without any flashy decorations, and has not changed. It was like this when it was built, and it is still like this today, decades later, and it will still be like this in a few decades. An Qingju and Yunluo were fortunate enough to enter and visit the concert hall. Yunluo really didn't know how to describe it, and couldn't describe it either. That kind of shock, that kind of beauty, can't be expressed in words.

Looking from the platform outside the Sydney Opera House, you can see the Harbour Bridge, which is integrated and echoes each other. This is Sydney. Unfortunately, the weather is bad. But the charm remains. In the afternoon, I sat on the sightseeing train in Sydney and looked around the city.

I woke up lazily in the morning and took a car to the tropical rainforest in Cairns. There were large tracts of sugarcane forests and winding mountain roads. This tropical rainforest is one of the oldest and largest in the world, with a variety of tropical plants and animals. The local indigenous tribe "Snake Tribe" performed an indigenous dance.

Then Yunluo also tried to ride the amphibious vehicle used in World War II. The road in the tropical rain forest is very narrow and winding. It is not easy to walk, although it is wobbly. But there is still an indescribable taste.

There are all kinds of plants along the way, poisonous, non-toxic, colorful, ancient, and all kinds of animals along the way. Big, small, ugly, cute. What I like most is the spots of sunlight under the shade of the trees, which are eye-catching but not glaring.

Then, under the guidance of the indigenous people, I saw the spears they used for hunting and heard them blowing traditional musical instruments. Under their guidance, I also tried to play the boomerang. Uh... for Yunluo, this was really a tragedy. He threw it extremely unstandardly and was laughed at.

It was still early in the afternoon when I got back to the hotel, so I decided to go out for a walk. After walking for a long time, I found that there was basically no one on the street and all the shops were closed, which was very strange.

Later, I found out that today was Sunday and shops were usually closed. Later, I walked to the shopping mall and found that it was still open. I was very excited. But when I walked in, I saw that the final tidying up had already begun. The half-open and closed roller shutter doors really made An Qingju and Yunluo depressed.

Yunluo did something stupid again that day. He lost his room card. He didn't know how much he had to pay for it, and he was heartbroken. But the front desk told Yunluo that he had a lot of cards and could give Yunluo another one. It was free. Then he laughed at Yunluo's surprised expression and said, "If you insist on paying, that's fine."

It turns out that this is the case in Australia. Yunluo is really happy that the people here are so friendly and the service here is so thoughtful. Before going out for shopping in the afternoon, I also asked the front desk how to get to the shopping mall.

After the other party explained it to An Qingjue and Yunluo enthusiastically, he was afraid that An Qingjue and Yunluo still didn't understand, so he gave An Qingjue and Yunluo a map and explained it again while looking at the map.

At night, I heard that the night market in Cairns is very lively, so Yunluo couldn't wait to go. I have to admit that it is really lively. This is the first time that Yunluo has seen so many people in Australia. But most of them are Japanese and Korean. By the way, the Japanese English makes Yunluo want to die.

Yunluo welcomed what was arguably the most exciting day of the trip. At the Great Barrier Reef Fleet Terminal, they boarded the double-decker luxury cruise ship, the Great Adventure, and sailed into the clear, blue and vast Pacific Ocean.

The appearance of whales from time to time really made Yunluo very excited. Although he didn't see it with his own eyes (whales appear and disappear in an instant, and Yunluo is nearsighted), he was as happy as when he was chasing dolphins on a boat in Xiangjiang City last year. The first destination of An Qingju and Yunluo's boat trip was Green Island.

The Green Island Great Barrier Reef has a history of 6,000 years. It is the only island on the Great Barrier Reef where coral reefs and tropical rainforests coexist. You can choose to walk on the beach or the boardwalk around Green Island. It is really refreshing to bathe in the sun on the beach and enjoy the green shade of the boardwalk.

The sand on Green Island is very fine and soft. It is surrounded by dead trees and reefs. The sea and sky are one color, which has its own charm.

Then we went to the Norman Outer Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef is one of the seven natural wonders of the world, and the Norman Outer Barrier Reef is the most beautiful Great Barrier Reef in the Cairns area, which has received countless heads of state from home and abroad. The Great Barrier Reef communities here are continuous, like one piece of underwater forest after another. Not only are they vast, but they are also clearly layered and colorful.

Various tropical colorful fish swim freely in it, forming a complete food chain with various large marine fish and marine life, like a big underwater family, which is eye-opening and refreshing. The luxurious 3-story offshore sightseeing platform has an exclusive sunbathing area and smoking area, providing excellent viewing views and rest space.

There is a pure natural underwater viewing station set up on the platform. Although Yunluo did not go diving, he still had a good experience of the underwater world on the underwater viewing boat.

As mentioned above, Yunluo spent a lot of money again at the Great Barrier Reef. I spent $148 to take a second helicopter ride, but I didn't take any pictures this time because Yunluo was an aerial photographer. However, the deep and shallow Great Barrier Reef stretching for several kilometers is really spectacular. I can't share it with you. This day in Cairns was quite fulfilling.

We went to the street and the night market at night. The hotel where An Qingju and Yunluo stayed was on the beach, so it felt really good to walk on the beach at night, with the breeze blowing, and then walked back to the hotel to sleep.

I got up in the morning and took a flight to Brisbane. It was almost noon when I arrived in Brisbane. After lunch, I went to South Bank Park in Brisbane, which was originally the venue of the 1988 World Expo. The pavilions of that year's World Expo have basically been demolished, leaving only a Nepalese pavilion - the Nepal Temple.

There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!

It is said that all the carvings on this temple were hand-carved by three Nepalese people in three years. The carvings on it are guaranteed to be jaw-dropping and imaginative, but the lazy Yunluo did not go in. South Bank Park originally had a small port, but it was destroyed by last year's flood.

Australians are so efficient. It's not even finished yet, but slow work makes for fine work. There have been almost no safety accidents in Australian buildings. The ecological environment of the city of Brisbane is well reflected in South Bank Park. Many animals live leisurely, and Yunluo can hardly name them (forgive Yunluo's common sense).

Then there is Kangaroo Point. Although it is called Kangaroo Point, there is not even a single kangaroo there. Kangaroos are the national animal of Australia. They reproduce at an astonishing rate and have no natural enemies, so there are even more kangaroos than people.

They are everywhere in the city, and have seriously affected people’s production and life. Australians can’t bear to hunt them, so they force them to Kangaroo Point. Because the terrain here is very high, it is a cliff, and the kangaroos have no way to go, so they have to jump down... (Yunluo thought, isn’t the nature the same...) Then, Kangaroo Point got its name.

The car drove along the way, passing George Square and Story Bridge. There was a lot of traffic on the Story Bridge, but where was Mr. Story?

After lunch in the afternoon, we boarded the cruise ship again and crossed the Merton Bay to the Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort. Originally, there was a project to hand-feed wild bottlenose dolphins at night, but everyone knows that Yunluo went to Australia in July, and it was winter there. Although it was not very cold, it was still cold to go into the water at night...

So Yunluo just watched the dolphins on the shore. They were really cute. This resort is actually a small island, but it has complete facilities, beautiful scenery in all aspects, and rich activities. It was too late, so Yunluo didn't go around much and just went to the room. (To be continued...)
