There are stop signs at the intersections, but there are no cars at all.

After walking for a while, I didn't see any animals, and I was a little worried. After a while, the driver stopped the car and pointed to a tree on the left. Two long-tailed monkeys were sleeping together! Then there were groups of antelopes, and chickens and birds often appeared on the roadside. They were colorful and looked like something you had never seen before.

A badger. Yunluo didn't take a picture of it when it climbed up the rock. It was about 80cm long and had a strip of white fur from head to tail, which really looked like it was wearing white armor.

Nalanshiqi and Yunluo saw not only white-faced eagles, but also blackbucks, scimitar-horned antelopes, and the smallest antelope in South Africa. We arrived at a rest stop at 9:00 and ate the packed breakfast. It was really rich! There were yogurt, fruits, biscuits, cheeseburgers, eggs, juice... There were yellow squirrels, antelopes and all kinds of cute birds around, which was great!

After a long time, the driver received a message that a jaguar was spotted not far from Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo, so he turned around and drove on! Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo thought he wanted them to see the herd of antelopes around the canal in the open area on the right. Unexpectedly, a lioness was lying on the left side of the car, observing the herd of antelopes.

Unfortunately, a group of elephants also came to play in the canal. If the lion took action, it might annoy the elephants, so the lion would have to cancel the action. It lay under the tree and waited for the right time.

Behind Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo's car, there were two foreigners observing elephants and antelopes in the car. The driver thought they must not have noticed the lions, so he called them softly, but they didn't even look at Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo, and the driver couldn't get out of the car, so he started the engine again and reversed the car.

When I told them, the two foreigners were surprised. They said they had been observing the elephants and had no idea. Indeed, neither Nalan Shiqi nor Yunluo noticed it, because the color of the lion was the same as the weeds in early spring, and the car was driving at 40 miles per hour. I have to admire the driver, who not only drives but also observes where there are animals. Sometimes animals just stick their heads out of the water, and some rest far away by the water. Ordinary people can't tell whether it is a stone or an animal, but he knows everything. The turtles, hippos and buffalos resting on the shore that Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo saw later were all thanks to him!

At 2 pm, they started to hurry on their way again. Yunluo kept his eyes fixed on the grass beside the road, fearing that he might have pulled down some animals. But there were still elephants, baboons, giraffes, antelopes and the like around them... When Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo crossed a river, they found Nile crocodiles, small crocodiles, and a huge lizard with a tail nearly 1 meter long. The bus station here is very modern, but Director Zheng said there are not many buses. Maybe Johannesburg is really not safe.
