It is spring in Australia, and many flowers are blooming. There are descriptions of each plant here, but Yunluo didn't have the heart to read them, because Yunluo rushed to the northernmost part of the park, where there is a small observation deck where you can see the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Bridge. It's finally here. It's so sunny along the way that I almost melted.
It is the location on the map, but if you travel with a group, you should come here. It is here, and many Sydney albums and postcards should be taken here. Yunluo has been here! However, when Yunluo arrived here, it was just after 2 pm. The sun was too strong and there was backlight. If it was in the early morning or evening, it would be better!
Or you can set up a tripod here to take pictures of the night view! There is a platform here, which is specially used for viewing, but it is better to be under the platform. To the south of the Sydney Opera House is the city center, and Yunluo walked from there. Back in the city center, Yunluo and An Chuyu came to the Sydney Tower and took the elevator to the observation deck above.
You can see the whole city of Sydney from here. The price of Sydney Tower is $26 (¥145.6) per adult, but if you book tickets online, you can get a 30% discount, which becomes $18.2 ($101.9), so it is recommended to buy tickets online! The official website for Sydney Tower ticket booking is: various high-rise buildings. After a short rest on the Sydney Tower, Yunluo and An Chuyu went to the long-admired Sydney Opera House.
After getting off the Sydney Tower, Yunluo and An Chuyu headed north to the Sydney Opera House for about 10 minutes. They arrived at the Sydney Opera House! There were so many people taking pictures here! Here's something interesting~ There is a small square in front of the Sydney Opera House, where there are performances from time to time, but Yunluo and An Chuyu didn't catch up when they went there.
There are stairs on the side of the Sydney Opera House, you can walk up and go around to the back to see. This time I got to know the Sydney Opera House up close~ In the evening. Yunluo and An Chuyu were preparing to take a cruise at Circular Quay. Since they walked too much during the day, everyone was a little tired, so Yunluo and An Chuyu took a rest on this chair at the port.
There are many seagulls in Sydney, and some of them are not afraid of people. This father and daughter are very happy! The Sydney Opera House is also beautiful at sunset. Yunluo and An Chuyu chose the dinner cruise of captaincookcruises, and the tour route is the blue line in the picture below. There are three options for dinner on the boat that departs at 6 pm.
golddinner, captainsclubdinner and starlightdinner are located on different floors of the cruise ship, upper, middle and lower respectively, and the food is also different. Golddinner has more dishes, and the first two will also have singers' performances. The prices are $219 (¥), $139 (¥778.4), and $99 (¥554.4) respectively.
The price will be adjusted according to different days. It seems that you can get a discount if you book on the official website. However, no matter which one you choose, you can go to the top cabin to see the sea view. So Yunluo and An Chuyu bought the cheapest one.
Before you go, you can learn about it! At night, the cruise ship started, and Yunluo and Anchuyu crossed the Sydney Bridge. You can take a photo of the Sydney Opera House and the bridge on this side of the bridge! The cruise ship will sail along the blue line on the map and finally return to Darling Harbour. Return to the Sydney Opera House again.
The next morning, Yunluo and An Chuyu were supposed to go to the airport to rent a car to go to Canberra, but they wanted to have a fish market meal, so Yunluo and An Chuyu had to get up early and go to the fish market for breakfast. This time, Yunluo and An Chuyu ordered a large abalone. The price was $80 (¥448), which reminded Yunluo of Zhao Benshan's skit. Not short of money.
Four Australian abalones! Sorry, no! Is that what you are talking about? When Yunluo and An Chuyu were strolling after breakfast, they saw a stall that had just sold a large tuna. It was so cool! After breakfast, Yunluo and An Chuyu packed their luggage and went to the airport to pick up a car to drive to Canberra, the capital of Australia.
Yunluo and An Chuyu rented a car at Sydney Airport and drove to Canberra. After playing around in Canberra, they drove back to Sydney Airport to return the car. The self-driving route from Sydney to Canberra is as shown in the figure: Route 1 in Canberra City, Parliament House and National University. Route 2, National Museum. [Attractions] Canberra is the federal capital of Australia.
It is the largest inland city in Australia, with a population of over 367,000. It ranks eighth among all cities in Australia. It is located at the northern end of the Australian Capital Territory, 280 kilometers and 660 kilometers away from the two major metropolitan cities on the east coast of Australia, Sydney and Melbourne. Parliament House (Canberra), also known as the Canberra Parliament House.
The Australian Parliament House is the seat of the Australian Parliament, located in Canberra, the Australian Capital Territory. The building was designed by Mitchell/Giurgra Architects and opened by Queen Elizabeth II of Australia in May 1988. At the time of its construction, it was the most expensive man-made building in the Southern Hemisphere, costing a total of about A$1.1 billion.
Since Australia is a democratic country that implements a federal and cabinet system, this building is also the core of Australia's executive and legislative powers. The Australian National University (ANU) is a research-based national university located in Canberra, the capital of Australia.
Outstanding alumni include six Nobel Prize winners and two Australian prime ministers. The National Museum of Australia was founded in 1980 and opened in its current location in 2001. It is located in Canberra, the capital of Australia, at the southern end of the Australian National University (ANU).
The Australian self-driving trip has begun! Yunluo and An Chuyu went to the airport to pick up the Hertz car. This was Yunluo's first time driving outside of mainland China, and on a road that drove on the left! Yunluo and An Chuyu rented a Nissan X-Trail because it was the cheapest SUV that could fit Yunluo and An Chuyu's three large boxes.
Driving on the left, the driver sits on the right, and controls the gear with his left hand. In addition, the turn signal of Japanese cars is on the right. The windshield wiper is on the left, which is really unusual! Regarding the self-driving guide in Australia, Yunluo will explain it in detail in the [Self-driving in Australia] section of the [Practical Guide] later. The trunk can hold three large boxes, and the champagne-colored box is 30 inches.
In this way, they drove more than 270 kilometers from Sydney to Canberra. Yunluo and An Chuyu first went to the hotel to put their luggage. In Canberra, Yunluo and An Chuyu stayed at the canberrarexhotel. It is said that Chinese delegations visiting Australia all stayed here. The conditions are not bad. For more information about this hotel, Yunluo will explain it in detail in the [Accommodation] section of the [Practical Guide] later.
After putting away their luggage, Yunluo and An Chuyu drove to the Australian Parliament House. You can visit here, but you need to go through security check. The Parliament House has two facades, the main facade in the northeast is the official entrance and the public entrance. The secondary facade in the southwest is simpler and is the working entrance used by members of parliament and staff.
Enter the most advanced entrance hall of the Capitol from the main entrance. The lobby in the middle of the lobby leads to the center of the building, which is the core of the building's ceremony. The marble staircases on both sides of the lobby connect to the public corridor on the second floor, leading to the House of Representatives and Senate on both sides of the building. The two houses are actually connected to the central building but have independent structures.
The main hall of the Parliament Building. The tapestry hanging on the far wall is one of the largest tapestries in the world. It is 20 meters long and 9 meters high. The main color of the Australian Senate Chamber is red, reflecting the theme color of the British House of Lords. The color used in the Senate is also a more calm hematite ochre, reflecting the color of the Australian land, especially the inland land.
The theme color of the Australian House of Representatives Chamber is green, which is intended to reflect the theme color of the British House of Commons, to show that Australia's parliamentary tradition is inherited from the long tradition of the Westminster system. However, the green used here is a lighter tone, echoing the color of Australian eucalyptus leaves.
The 81-meter-high flagpole at the top of the building hangs a 12.8-meter-long and 6.4-meter-wide national flag, which is equivalent to the size of half a tennis court. It weighs 15 kilograms. The flagpole weighs 250 tons and is cast from polished stainless steel produced in Wollongong. According to the design. The flagpole is the top of the Parliament Building and is an easily recognizable symbol of the national government.
The flagpole is easily visible from inside and outside the Capitol during the day, and is illuminated at night. After leaving the Capitol, Yunluo and An Chuyu drove to the Australian National University. The school was very quiet. There were not many students on the playground, probably all in class. In fact, Yunluo wanted to say that if there was such good weather in Beijing, everyone would definitely come out for activities.
The lawn in front of the teaching building. After visiting the school, Yunluo and An Chuyu walked around the center of Canberra. This city is much quieter than Sydney and Melbourne. The next day, Yunluo and An Chuyu came to the National Museum in the morning. The appearance of this museum is very stylish. It is really difficult to find a parking space in the parking lot. I walked around several times before I got one.
You are not allowed to take pictures in the museum, so Yunluo could only take two pictures at the entrance. Australia has a short history, and you can see many exhibits in the museum, but the explanations of the exhibits are all in English, and there are many unfamiliar words, most of which Yunluo did not understand... At noon, Yunluo and An Chuyu drove back to Sydney, having completed the 270-kilometer training on the way here.
On the way back, Yunluo was already able to merge and overtake in various ways, haha. We took a break. Beijing, Beijing, look at the blue sky! After returning the car at Sydney Airport, Yunluo and An Chuyu took a plane to Tasmania, the southernmost island of Australia. The Canberra part is over.
Yunluo and An Chuyu stayed in Hobart for three days in Tasmania. Today, Yunluo and An Chuyu signed up for a one-day tour to Wineglass Bay. It is quite far from Hobart to Wineglass Bay. It takes more than 3 hours on the road, which means 7 hours round trip. The route is as shown in the picture: [Attractions] Tasmania is the only island state in Australia.
Originally named Van Diemensland, it is located 240 kilometers south of the Australian mainland. Tasmania includes Tasmania Island and surrounding small islands. Tasmania Island, located in the southeast of Australia, is a heart-shaped island across the sea from Melbourne, the capital of Victoria, the southernmost state in mainland Australia.
Both the government and the people refer to Tasmania as "Tasmania". Tasmania has an area of 90,758 km2, the smallest of the six states. The state has a population of 493,000 (2007), and the largest city is the capital Hobart, with a population of 210,000 (2006). Tasmania is the place with the best natural ecological protection in Australia.
Tasmania is known as the "Natural State", "Apple Island" and "Australian version of New Zealand". It is characterized by beautiful scenery and simple culture. Geographically, as an independent island, there are large undeveloped natural areas. About 40% of the state is officially listed as national parks, nature reserves or world natural heritage.
Wineglass Bay is one of the most popular holiday resorts for tourists and locals on Tasmania. Overlooking the crystal clear Great Oyster Bay, it is a paradise for swimming, diving, kayaking, boating and fishing enthusiasts. [Start of the trip] Pick up.
There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!
Yunluo and An Chuyu flew from Sydney to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania. It was already evening when they arrived in Hobart. In Hobart, Yunluo and An Chuyu stayed at the Bluehills Motel. The front desk was Chinese and the hotel environment was pretty good. Yunluo will explain more about this hotel in the [Accommodation] section of the [Practical Guide] later.
Yunluo and An Chuyu signed up for a one-day tour to Wineglass Bay, the price was $105 (¥588) per person. They originally wanted to rent a car and drive themselves, but they felt that driving for 7 hours a day was a bit tiring, and the car rental fee + gas fee + ticket fee was almost the same as the tour fee, so they simply signed up for a tour group. In the morning, Yunluo and An Chuyu took the travel agency's car to Wineglass Bay.
We drove to the small town of Orford for a rest. The scenery here is beautiful. When we were about to reach Wineglass Bay, there was a section of the road that was a coastal highway, and the scenery along the way was very beautiful. When we were about to reach Wineglass Bay, Yunluo and An Chuyu came to a manor and took a short rest. This manor has homemade chocolate and jam, as well as ice cream, which tasted great.
We came to Freycinationalpark, where Wineglass Bay is. But if you want to see Wineglass Bay, you have to climb a mountain. Yunluo and An Chuyu will go up the mountain in a while. At the entrance of the park there is a scenic spot called Honeymoon Bay, Lover's Bay, with a great view. Yunluo and An Chuyu had lunch here.
The water in Lover's Bay is very clear. After dinner, Yunluo and An Chuyu started to climb the mountain. This mountain road is very easy to climb. Just keep walking. In the middle, you will pass by a terrace with a view of the scenery, where you can take a short break. Finally, Yunluo and An Chuyu finally arrived at the Wineglass Bay Lookout, but Yunluo felt that the scenery here was not as good as he had imagined.
Maybe the angle is not very good, you can also go down to Wineglass Bay from here. But it takes an hour and a half to go back and forth. Since Yunluo and An Chuyu signed up for a tour group that day, there was a strict time limit, so they did not go down, which was a pity! On the way back to Hobart, Yunluo and An Chuyu came to Swansea for a short rest.
This is a very beautiful town. If you have more time, it is recommended to stay here for a day. The cars played by local children in Swansea are quite interesting. This is a very leisurely place. In the evening, Yunluo and An Chuyu returned to Hobart. Yunluo and An Chuyu came to the most famous steak restaurant in the area, ballandchain, to eat steak. The steak here is very delicious.
The price is not too expensive. Yunluo will explain more about this restaurant in the following [Practical Guide to Dining and Food]. After eating, I strolled back to the hotel. I will start driving again tomorrow!
Today Yunluo and Anchuyu rented a car in Hobart and drove to Bruny Island. Please refer to the map for the self-driving route: [Attractions] Bruny Island is an island in Australia with an area of 322 square kilometers. It is located on the southeast coast of Tasmania and is separated from the main island of Tasmania.
The Entrecasteaux Channel separates the island from the north-eastern coast of the country. Storm Bay is located in the northeast of the island. Both the island and the channel are named after the French explorer Bruni Jean Entrecasteaux. Geographically, Bruny Island is actually made up of two islands, North Bruny and South Bruny, which are connected by a narrow sandy isthmus.
The areas outside the island's settlements are pastures and large eucalyptus forests. The inland forests are constantly being cut down, but most of the rest, especially the southeast coastline, is protected by the establishment of the South Bruni National Park. There are two long beaches on the sea side, Adventure Bay and Cloudy Bay. The diabase cliffs are more than 200 meters above sea level and are one of the highest seaside cliffs in Australia.
The side facing the bay is a good place for locals and tourists to fish and have fun. Here is the official website to learn more about the attractions on the island [Start of the trip] With the experience of driving from Sydney to Canberra, driving on the left-hand road is not a difficult thing. Today, Yunluo and An Chuyu rented a car in Hobart, still a Nissan X-Trail.
The same as the one in Sydney, because this is really the cheapest SUV that can fit Yunluo and An Chuyu's luggage. Tomorrow Yunluo and An Chuyu will drive it to Launceston Airport to return the car, and then fly back to Melbourne. As for self-driving in Australia, Yunluo will explain it in detail in the [Practical Guide to Self-driving in Australia] later. (To be continued..)
