Chapter 1320 Blue Sky

It is recommended to fly here directly. After the plane returned to the airport, Yunluo and An Chuyu were still reluctant to leave. Although it was only an hour, it was very memorable. The scenery here is similar to that in Cairns, but more beautiful than that in Cairns. Unfortunately, Yunluo and An Chuyu did not go to the white sand beach this time.

If she has the chance to come to Australia again next time, Yunluo will fly directly to Hamilton Island and book the white sand beach trip in advance. Finally, Yunluo also recommended a project. Since this project was full, Yunluo and An Chuyu did not book it, but the introduction was very tempting. This is a one-day tour of Air Whitsunday.

It includes a seaplane ride to the heart-shaped island and white sand beach, a one-hour sightseeing ride in a private glass-bottomed semi-submarine, one-hour snorkeling, one-hour sightseeing on the white sand beach, all snorkeling equipment is provided, sun umbrellas are provided, unlimited tea, juice and snacks, professional commentary, the total time is 4.5 hours, of which the flight time is 1.5 hours.

The price is $475 (¥2660) per adult. Their official website says: If you play this, you don't have to go to Cairns at all. After getting off the plane, Yunluo and An Chuyu took a walk on the lawn by the sea. The seagulls here are even less afraid of people and are everywhere. It happened that a couple had their wedding on this lawn.

It was a great place. In the evening, everyone took out potato chips to feed the seagulls. More and more seagulls flew over and had a great time. Finally, all the potato chips were gone, but the seagulls still followed Yunluo and An Chuyu for a long time before they gradually dispersed. In the evening, Yunluo and An Chuyu found a restaurant in their home to eat buffet. The chef should be from the Northeast by his accent.

The dishes were well cooked, and the fried rice was delicious. Yunluo thought it might be because Yunluo and An Chuyu hadn't eaten Chinese food for a long time. Since this restaurant didn't have any special features, I won't show it. In this way, the two-day trip to the Whitsunday Islands ended. Yunluo and An Chuyu were left with very good memories.

On the morning of the third day, Yunluo and An Chuyu flew back to Brisbane, and a wonderful thing happened. The airport bus that was supposed to pick up Yunluo and An Chuyu had miscalculated the number of people, so there was no room for Yunluo and An Chuyu, so an extended Ford limousine was sent. When Yunluo and An Chuyu knew that this car was to pick them up to go to the airport, they were very surprised.

Yunluo and her friends were all amazed! The bus was quite spacious. Yunluo and An Chuyu spent a lot of money on the airport bus. Arriving at the airport, Yunluo and An Chuyu flew to Brisbane. As a place not originally planned for this trip, the Whitsunday Islands gave Yunluo many surprises, including the beautiful Great Barrier Reef and white sand beaches.

Yunluo and An Chuyu stayed in Sydney for just over a day. They stayed in Darling Harbour and walked to the fish market, the city centre, Hyde Park, Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney Tower, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Bridge. Finally, they took a cruise ship in Circular Quay and sailed around the bay before returning to Darling Harbour.

This building is the first half of the Sydney itinerary. [Introduction] Sydney is located on the southeast coast of Australia. It is the capital of New South Wales and the most densely populated city in Australia. The metropolitan population is 4,575,532 (2011). Sydney is the first European colonial settlement in Australia. It was founded in 1788 by Captain Arthur of the British First Fleet.

Phillips was founded in Sydney Cove. Sydney is built around Port Jackson (including Sydney Harbour) and was once known as the "Harbour City". Sydney is Australia's largest financial center and a major international tourist destination, famous for its beaches, opera house and Harbour Bridge. Sydney has also hosted many sporting events, including the 1938 Commonwealth Games.

The Sydney Fish Market is the largest fish market in Sydney and even Australia, integrating wholesale, retail and catering. It is also a good place for citizens to enjoy and purchase seafood. There are seafood restaurants with different characteristics in the market, with all kinds of Chinese, Western and Japanese seafood delicacies.

As the largest fish market in the Southern Hemisphere, Sydney Fish Market ranks second in the world in terms of the number of fish species. More than 100 kinds of seafood products are sold here every day. Sydney Tower, also known as Amp Tower, is the tallest building in Sydney's central business district, with a height of 305m.

The Sydney Opera House (Sydney Opera House, SOH) is located in Sydney, Australia. It is one of the most distinctive buildings in the 20th century. It is also a world-renowned performing arts center and a landmark building in Sydney. The theater was designed by Danish designer Jorn Utzon. Construction work began in 1959 and the theater was officially completed in 1973.

In June 2007, the building was named a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. The Sydney Opera House is located at Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour. Its unique sail shape, coupled with the Sydney Harbour Bridge as the background, sets off the surrounding scenery. Thousands of tourists come to see this building every day.

The Sydney Opera House is mainly composed of two main halls, some small theaters, performance halls and other ancillary facilities. Both halls are located in the larger sail-shaped structure. The small performance hall is located in the base at the bottom. The largest main hall is the concert hall, which can accommodate up to 2,679 people. The original intention of the design was to build this largest hall into an opera house.

Later, the design was changed, and even the completed opera stage was demolished and rebuilt. There is a large organ in the concert hall, which was made by Ronald Sharp from 1969 to 1979. It is said to be the largest mechanical wooden connecting rod organ in the world, consisting of 10,500 wind pipes. The smaller one in the main hall is the opera house.

Since the larger main hall was originally designed as an opera house, the small hall was considered unsuitable for large opera performances. The stage is relatively small and the space for the orchestra is not suitable for large orchestras to perform. Other ancillary facilities include a theater, a cinema and a photography studio. Free public performances are often held in front of the entrance stairs.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a major bridge in Sydney, Australia, spanning Sydney Harbour and connecting Sydney's central business district with the North Shore. This striking bridge and the nearby Sydney Opera House form one of Sydney's most famous sights. Because of its appearance, the Sydney Harbour Bridge has earned the nickname "the coat hanger".

Until 1967, the Sydney Harbour Bridge was the tallest building in Sydney. The Sydney Harbour Bridge was designed and built by the British construction company Dumenlong in Middlesbrough under the command of John Bradfield, an engineer of the New South Wales Public Works Department, and was completed in 1932.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is 134 metres above sea level at its highest point. It is also the fifth longest arch bridge in the world. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, it is also the tallest steel arch bridge in the world and was once the widest long span bridge in the world until it was replaced by the second-generation Port Mann Bridge in Greater Vancouver, Canada in 2012.

[Start of the trip] Next, Yunluo and An Chuyu flew from the Whitsunday Islands to Brisbane, and then transferred to Sydney. It was already evening when they arrived in Sydney. The hotel Yunluo and An Chuyu stayed in in Sydney was Novotel, which was located on the edge of Darling Harbour and had a good environment. Yunluo will explain more about this hotel in the [Accommodation] section of the [Practical Guide] later.

Yunluo got up early the next morning. The weather in Sydney was very good today, with plenty of sunshine. Yunluo and Anchu met on the Pyrmont Bridge in Darling Harbor. In front of them was the city center, and the tall tower was the Sydney Tower. Sydney is indeed the largest city in Australia. It has an extraordinary temperament! There are many ships docked in Darling Harbor. There are also many small yachts like this.

Yunluo and An Chuyu first walked to the famous fish market. There were already many tourists here early in the morning. Of course, the most attractive thing was the various seafood. The oysters were very fresh, without any fishy smell. They were caught in the morning. There were also various sea fish. Yunluo and An Chuyu bought a large lobster, which they ate raw and fried with onions and ginger. It tasted very fresh.

However, this place mainly sells seafood, and the processing is very ordinary compared to restaurants. So it is recommended to eat it raw here. The price of this lobster is $135 (¥756), including the processing fee. It is said that the price-performance ratio is very high. Yunluo has never eaten such a big lobster in China, so he doesn't know much about it.

Yunluo will explain more about the fishmarket in the [Food] section of [Practical Guide] later. After finishing this "hearty" breakfast, Yunluo and An Chuyu walked to the center of Sydney. The city center has both ancient and modern buildings, which are very distinctive. This is the Queen Victoria Building. The most central shopping mall in Sydney.

There was also a small band playing in the mall, which attracted many people to watch. There are many luxury stores near the city center, such as Hermes, Prada, Chanel, etc. The girl decided to go shopping here, so Yunluo continued to walk northeast and came to Hyde Park. There were many people resting here. Everyone liked to sit on this large lawn and bask in the sun.

Going further north, we will reach the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, where there are many green plants and fewer people. Late September and early October is the spring in Australia, and many flowers are in bloom. Each plant here has a description, but Yunluo didn't want to read it because Yunluo rushed to the northernmost part of the park, where there is a small observation deck where you can see the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Bridge.

Finally, we have come here. It was so hot along the way that we almost melted. It is the location on the map. If you are traveling with a group, you should come here. It is here. Many pictures and postcards of Sydney should be taken here. Yunluo has been here! But when Yunluo arrived here, it was more than 2 pm and the sun was too strong.

And there is backlight, if you come here in the morning or evening, it should be better! Or you can set up a tripod here to take night photos! There is a platform here, which is specially used for viewing, but it is better to be under the platform. To the south of the Sydney Opera House is the city center, and Yunluo walked from there.

Back in the city center, Yunluo and An Chuyu came to the Sydney Tower and took the elevator to the observation deck above. From here you can see the entire city of Sydney. The price of the Sydney Tower is $26 (¥145.6) per adult, but if you book tickets online, you can get a 30% discount, which becomes $18.2 ($101.9), so it is recommended to buy tickets online!

The official website of Sydney Tower ticket booking is various high-rise buildings. After a short rest on the Sydney Tower, Yunluo and An Chuyu went to the long-admired Sydney Opera House. Then come to fishmarket Sydney Opera House-Sydney Bridge This building is the second half of the Sydney itinerary. Please refer to the itinerary description and classic description above.

[Start of the trip] After getting off the Sydney Tower, Yunluo and An Chuyu headed north to the Sydney Opera House for about 10 minutes. They walked to the Sydney Opera House! Many people were taking pictures here! Here's something interesting~ There is a small square in front of the Sydney Opera House. There are performances from time to time, but Yunluo and An Chuyu didn't catch up when they went there.

There are stairs on the side of the Sydney Opera House, you can walk up and go around to the back to see. This time I got to see the Sydney Opera House up close~ In the evening, Yunluo and An Chuyu prepared to take a cruise in Circularquay. Since they walked too much during the day, everyone was a little tired, so Yunluo and An Chuyu took a rest on this chair at the harbor. There are also many seagulls in Sydney.

There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!

And they are not afraid of people. This father and daughter are very comfortable! The Sydney Opera House is also beautiful under the sunset. Yunluo and An Chuyu chose the dinner cruise of captaincookcruises, and the tour route is the blue line in the picture below. There are three choices for dinner at 6 pm, gold dinner, captains club dinner and starlight dinner.

The cruise ships you take are located on different floors, upper, middle and lower. The food you eat will also be different. Gold dinner has more dishes, and the first two types will also have singers performing. The prices are $219 (¥), $139 (¥778.4), and $99 (¥554.4). The prices will be adjusted according to different days. It seems that you can get a discount if you book on the official website.

But no matter which one you choose, you can go to the top cabin to see the sea view, so Yunluo and An Chuyu bought the cheapest one. You can check out their official website before you go! At night, the cruise ship started, and Yunluo and An Chuyu crossed the Sydney Bridge. You can take a photo of the Sydney Opera House and the bridge on this side of the bridge!

The cruise ship will sail along the blue line on the map. Finally, it will return to Darling Harbour. Then it will return to the Sydney Opera House. The next morning, Yunluo and An Chuyu were supposed to go to the airport to rent a car to go to Canberra, but they wanted to have a fish market meal, so Yunluo and An Chuyu had to get up early and go to the fish market for breakfast.

This time Yunluo and An Chuyu ordered a large abalone, which cost $80 (¥448), which reminded Yunluo of Zhao Benshan's skit. No shortage of money. Four Australian abalones! Sorry, no! Is this what you are talking about? When Yunluo and An Chuyu were strolling after eating, they saw a stall that had just sold a large tuna. It was so cool!

After breakfast, Yunluo and An Chuyu packed their luggage and went to the airport to pick up a car to drive to Canberra, the capital of Australia. Yunluo and An Chuyu rented a car at Sydney Airport and drove to Canberra. After playing around in Canberra, they drove back to Sydney Airport to return the car. The self-driving route from Sydney to Canberra is shown in the figure: Canberra City Route 1.

The federal capital. It is the largest inland city in Australia, with a population of over 367,000, ranking eighth among all Australian cities. It is located at the northern end of the Australian Capital Territory, 280 kilometers and 660 kilometers away from the two major metropolitan cities on the east coast of Australia, Sydney and Melbourne. Parliament House (Canberra), also known as the Canberra Parliament House.

The Australian Parliament House is the seat of the Australian Parliament, located in Canberra, the Australian Capital Territory. The building was designed by Mitchell/Giurgra Architects and opened by Queen Elizabeth II of Australia in May 1988. At the time of its construction, it was the most expensive man-made building in the Southern Hemisphere, costing a total of about A$1.1 billion.

Since Australia is a democratic country that implements a federal and cabinet system, this building is also the core of Australia's executive and legislative powers. The Australian National University (ANU) is a research-based national university located in Canberra, the Australian Capital Territory.

Outstanding alumni include six Nobel Prize winners and two Australian prime ministers. The National Museum of Australia was founded in 1980 and opened in its current location in 2001. It is located in Canberra, the Australian Capital Territory, at the southern end of the Australian National University (ANU).

The Australian self-driving trip has begun! Yunluo and An Chuyu went to the airport to pick up the Hertz car. This was Yunluo's first time driving outside of mainland China, and on a road that drove on the left! Yunluo and An Chuyu rented a Nissan X-Trail because it was the cheapest SUV that could fit Yunluo and An Chuyu's three large boxes.

Driving on the left, the driver sits on the right and controls the gear with his left hand. In addition, the turn signal of Japanese cars is on the right and the wiper is on the left. I am not used to it! Regarding the self-driving guide in Australia, Yunluo will explain it in detail in the [Self-driving in Australia] section of [Practical Guide] later. The trunk can hold three large boxes, and the champagne-colored box is 30 inches. (To be continued...)
