Chapter 917 Wild animals are also cute

Yunluo and Yan Chenyu used the ten minutes before closing time to consult with the ranger inside. They recommended that Yunluo and Yan Chenyu use the last bit of time today to walk along the path called pa'rus. This path runs along the stream and has a flat surface, which is very suitable for a walk at dusk.

The road is not too long and can be walked in one hour one way. Unfortunately, Yunluo forgot to bring his camera when he left the hotel, so he didn't take any photos. When Yunluo and Yan Chenyu were returning to the car along the stream, they encountered another large wild animal - a deer!

Yunluo didn't see what species it was. It had no horns and its body was light brown. There were two of them in a row, trying to cross the path to the bushes on the other side. Yunluo quietly observed them from the side, but they still noticed someone was peeping at them, so they jumped into the bushes and never came out again. The height of the bushes was just enough to protect them from being discovered.

Before sunset, we came to Zion to see some wild animals and walked a beautiful trail. The leisurely evening ended like this, and Yunluo and Yan Chenyu returned to Kanab before it was completely dark. Yunluo and Yan Chenyu will continue to appreciate the scenery in Zion Park tomorrow. Bryce Canyon is also waiting for Yunluo and Yan Chenyu.

Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park are the two destinations for today. The trip has been going on for the sixth day, but Yunluo and Yan Chenyu have no intention of getting tired at all. As long as there are new expectations and new photos every day, Yunluo and Yan Chenyu will have fun and never get tired.

It was easy to get to Zion National Park in the morning and headed straight to the visitor center. The management of Zion National Park is different from that of other parks. Visitors need to park their cars in the parking lot of the visitor center and then take the park bus to the entrance of each hiking trail.

Since Yunluo and Yan Chenyu didn't have much time, they chose two relatively simple but beautiful hiking routes, one called "bsp;trail" and the other called "riversidewalk trail". From the guides uploaded online, these two routes are more suitable for tourists with little time, so Yunluo decisively took the bus to these two places.

Weeping Rock is a very simple route, which can be completed in half an hour, but it is a little steep. Yunluo thinks that the scenery of this road is not as good as described on the Internet. At the end of the road, there is only a small waterfall similar to the Water Curtain Cave. Visitors can walk to the space behind the waterfall to feel the water curtain in front of them.

Maybe it was because there was not much rainfall this year. The Water Curtain Cave was not large in scale, and the water could hardly form a "curtain" with the patter. The half-hour climb of Weeping Rock warmed up Yunluo and Yan Chenyu, allowing them to tour and walk more comfortably on the riverside.

The riverside trail is actually the initial stage of another trail called the Narrows. The two trails together are about seven or eight miles long. It takes a whole day to walk them, leaving early and returning late. The riverside trail is flatter and easier to walk, and it is also shorter. It is basically no problem to go back and forth in two hours.

As its name suggests, Riverside runs along the river. The scenery is pleasant. On the road, you can see many enthusiasts carrying mountaineering tools and wading shoes, "marching" fully armed, with their chests puffed out, exuding a strong and confident look.

They all challenge the entire journey. The very end of the riverside (the part that actually enters the narrow arrows) requires hiking through a rapid stream, and the road on the other side of the stream is very steep. Most people who want to complete the journey come well prepared.

Yunluo and Yan Chenyu were not well prepared this time, nor did they have enough time, so they had to give up. There was another attraction at Riverside, which was the various small animals.

All the small animals were not afraid of people, and they would stop in the middle of the road to eat, drink and have fun. When people saw animals like squirrels, they would stop and gather around to watch them eat. The camera was almost close to their faces, but they were still happily chewing the fruit, which was particularly cute.

What’s even more adorable is the cute looks on the faces of the little kids when they see the little animals. Their big watery eyes stare curiously at the furry squirrels. The whole picture is cute enough to make you melt.

The charm of Zion National Park is that all visitors can find their favorite way of sightseeing in this park. Unlike other parks with only one way of sightseeing, Zion National Park allows you to climb mountains, play in the water, ride a bike along the stream, and climb rocks.

Therefore, most of the people who come to Zion for a trip are families, driving a huge RV and setting up camp for a week. The activities are different every day. In Zion National Park, I saw many elderly people and children, as well as many professional rock climbing enthusiasts. It is really a tourist destination suitable for all ages.

After walking back from the riverside, Yunluo was already sweating profusely. The blue sky was slowly covered by a layer of light dark clouds. Due to time constraints, Yunluo and Yan Chenyu had to end their short stay in Zion National Park early. This national park, which Yunluo had seriously underestimated before coming here, really opened Yunluo's eyes.

Next time I have a chance, I will come again and spend a few more days to enjoy it. I also want to try the famous Angelslanding rock climbing route. There is no way, these few days of travel have made me fall in love with nature.

At the exit of Zion National Park, Yunluo and Yan Chenyu had some local beef sandwiches at a small restaurant, took a nap under the shade of a tree next to the restaurant, and then drove towards Bryce Canyon National Park. Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park are only an hour apart, and both are canyons, but the scenery is very different.

The green mountains and clear waters in Zion National Park are completely gone in Bryce Canyon, and only red rocks can be seen gradually becoming the protagonists on the exposed surface. As usual, Yunluo and Yan Chenyu first came to the visitor center of Bryce Canyon Park.

Yunluo and Yan Chenyu have formed the habit of going to the visitor center first in the past few days. In the visitor center, they can not only get help and travel suggestions from the administrator, but also a good place to buy souvenirs. The visitor center of Bryce Canyon is small, but the service and help they get are also of high quality.

Yunluo and Yan Chenyu learned about the tour methods from the administrator. This is a very small park with few difficult hiking routes. You can get off the car to view the scenery at various viewing points. And it is spectacular everywhere. It only takes three or four hours to visit all the parking spots in Bryce Canyon. It is a very time-saving and labor-saving national park.

The formation of Bryce Canyon is also the result of water erosion. The crustal movement hundreds of millions of years ago caused great changes in the land in the western United States, and many streams and rivers gathered in the Bryce area.

Due to the climate, the water here flows during the day and freezes at night. When it freezes, the volume of the water also expands. Slowly squeezing the rock into the stone pillars we see today. In the eyes of the Indians who have lived here for a long time, these red stone pillars are the bad guys who were punished and turned into stone, and they are named "hoodoo".

Those stone pillars are really human-like, and they are neatly arranged in the canyon like the Terracotta Warriors. They are so well-organized, as if someone had specially designed their formation. Moreover, the sedimentary rock-like patterns on the stone pillars are as neat and uniform as the uniform uniforms of the troops.

Such a scene is completely different from Zion National Park, which is dozens of miles away. It is hard to imagine that the Creator can create a completely different picture at such a close distance. During the viewing, in addition to taking pictures, everyone repeatedly sent out "Viewing platform, Yunluo and Yan Chenyu continued to visit the viewing platform northward.

These quiet stone pillars, accompanied by the sad cries of birds in the distance, seemed particularly solemn, making Yunluo once again feel the insignificance of human beings and the greatness of nature.

A slight movement of the earth can form mountains and canyons of all kinds of bizarre shapes, but Yunluo and Yan Chenyu, animals called "human beings", are shamelessly engaging in intrigue and deceit on this vast land, living a life of debauchery and extravagance. How stupid they are.

On the way back to Kanab, Yunluo and Yan Chenyu kept reminiscing about the shocking canyon they had just experienced. Today was another fulfilling day.

Today Yunluo and Yan Chenyu are leaving Kanab in southern Utah and heading north to the capital Salt Lake City. They had a great time in Kanab for three days. Whether it is the Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend in Page or the surrounding Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, they are all truly famous geographical attractions.

After seeing many natural wonders, today's Salt Lake City can be regarded as a cultural attraction. Salt Lake City is a religious city and the global headquarters of Mormonism. The Brigham Young University it owns is also a famous religious university. Because of religion, Salt Lake City is famous for its good public security in the United States.

There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!

The crime rate here is extremely low, to the point where people don't pick up things on the road and leave their doors unlocked at night. Recently, the United States has been at the center of the threat of terrorist attacks, and even closed many overseas consulates, but coming to such a safe big city still makes Yunluo and Yan Chenyu feel relieved.

It takes about four and a half hours to drive from Kanab to Salt Lake City. Yunluo found that the speed limits on highways in the western United States are generally higher than those in the eastern United States. In the east, a speed limit of 70 miles per hour is considered high, and a speed limit of 65 is the most common.

But in the west, the speed limit of 75 is everywhere, and sometimes you can even encounter the speed limit of 80, which makes Yunluo feel very heroic. In addition, there are barren Gobi deserts on both sides of the highway, and Wang Feng's rock CD is turned on in the car. The feeling of wandering in the wilderness is simply refreshing!

Before I knew it, I had already reached the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, and the highway had gradually added two more lanes. Yun Luo's knowledge of Salt Lake City was limited to knowing the Utah Jazz, and his understanding of Mormonism was only superficial, as it was "a branch of Christianity." He found information: "Mormonism is actually called the 'Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints', and its headquarters is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

The National Association of Churches has recognized it as the fourth largest church in the United States in the United States and Canada, with more than 14 million members worldwide. Different from Catholicism and various Protestant sects, the Church of Latter-day Saints is a mainstream Christian sect that was formed, established, emerged, developed, and gradually matured and perfected in the United States.

"Salt Lake City was founded in 1847 by a group of followers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) led by Brigham Young. Since then, the headquarters of the church has been located in Salt Lake City. Currently, more than half of the local people are members of the church."

The reason to come to Salt Lake City is to learn about Mormonism. At first glance, Mormonism sounds like a religion, but after listening to the explanation, I realized that it can be regarded as a more mainstream Christian sect. The Mormon headquarters in Salt Lake City is an administrative area consisting of churches, various office buildings, and conference centers. It is also a must-see for tourists from all over the world when they come to Salt Lake City for sightseeing.

Of course, for a die-hard NBA fan, the home stadium of the Utah Jazz is also on Yunluo's touring list.

Salt Lake City is very small, and you can basically see its entirety from the highway. It has a population of just over two million, and there are not many tall buildings. It only takes a dozen minutes to drive across the time zone.

After arriving at the city center, Yunluo and Yan Chenyu checked into the hotel first. This was the most upscale hotel they had stayed in on this trip. The lobby was magnificent, and there were handsome guys at the door to help open the door and carry the luggage. The outdoor swimming pool was open 24 hours a day, and the furniture in the room was also in palace style, which made Yunluo and Yan Chenyu, who had been staying in a motel for the past few days, feel very luxurious.

However, the price of such a good hotel is very affordable, much cheaper than the small hotel in Kanab, which shows that there are not many tourists in Salt Lake City recently. (To be continued...)
