The Rhine is the third largest river in Europe after the Volga and the Danube. In Cologne, the Rhine is wider and flows more smoothly. The nearly 200-kilometer section from Cologne to Mainz is the most beautiful section of the Rhine, where the river is winding and the water is clear.

Along the river, Yunluo and Yan Chenyu found a red house. This red house is a century-old restaurant in Cologne where Yunluo and Yan Chenyu dined. The most famous dish is roasted pork elbow. This restaurant was not bombed during World War II and was preserved intact. It is said that Napoleon also visited this restaurant and ate pork elbow, which shows how famous the pork elbow here is.

Soon, Yunluo and Yan Chenyu's dishes arrived, and they were indeed quite filling. The side dishes were fried potato cubes, mixed shredded carrots and shredded pickled cabbage. The taste was indeed good. Yunluo and Yan Chenyu quickly devoured the food on the plate, and paired it with local beer, and ate it with relish.

During the leisure time after lunch, Yunluo and Yan Chenyu walked by the river, watching the children in the kindergarten sitting on the lawn singing nursery rhymes. They didn't want to give themselves too many tasks, so they just wandered around~

During most of the driving time, Yunluo and Yan Chenyu consumed a lot of food in the car, mostly fruit salads and homemade sandwiches.

Below are raspberries and blueberries. Apples are super cheap in Europe. Many houses have their own apple trees and don't care about the fallen apples. They prefer to eat fruits like blueberries.

The scenery on the road is very exquisite. On the way to Cologne, we set the navigation to deliberately avoid the highway, and then we can pass through several German towns and see their various houses. Traffic jams are a global problem. They move slowly, but since then I have rarely encountered them in other places.

One of the great advantages of self-driving is that if you can park your car, you can stop and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is no one else around, and it is like a green space like a Windows desktop. The vegetation here is a large grassland, with a few forests and small towns interspersed in between, which is very harmonious and interesting.

Driving into the city of Cologne, there is never enough time. I want to go to the second-hand market... Maybe next time. She could only walk around it as if she was just taking a quick look and stayed in the church for a few minutes.

Behind the church, there is a recommended pork knuckle shop, owned by a Chinese. The super large pork knuckle is Yunluo and Yan Chenyu's dinner today. We just arrived in Germany and the jet lag is still very serious. We were all tired after driving all day. Seeing such a huge meat and beer, we were in a state of joy. The picturesque ancient city of Wurzburg is located on the banks of the Main River. From a distance, it looks like a city in the sky. Marienburg, enclosed by medieval city walls, was the residence of the archbishop from 1253 to 1720. When Yunluo and Yan Chenyu arrived, there were only 20 or 30 people in the whole city. It was so quiet that even talking loudly would destroy its tranquility.

Many tourists use bicycles to tour the town. The most popular part of the journey is the Romantic Road in Germany. It is the area with the most complete preservation of medieval ancient city style among all German cities and is known as the "Treasure of the Middle Ages". Rothenburg means "Red Castle" in German, and most of the roofs of the houses in the city are dark red.

Large expanses of grass and old trees are a luxury in China. We saw foreign tourist groups, many people but not noisy.
