When waiting for your flight at Singapore Airport, you can change into the winter clothes you wore in Perth. Otherwise, if you change in Perth, it will be very cold and it will delay the time to pick up your luggage.
If you need hot water when transferring at Singapore Airport, you can go to the airport's baby room to pick it up. Of course, you must confirm whether there is anyone inside before entering. If you have made a reservation, what time is it?
(Because for this type of hotel, there is a high probability that there is no overnight staff.) And bring the hotel's phone number with you so that if you cannot arrive at the hotel before their latest time, you will have a way to contact them.
If the hotel you are staying in is not far from the No. 37 bus stop, it is recommended to take the No. 37 bus to and from the airport and the hotel. The frequency of the No. 37 bus is not as sparse as the airport bus. This is both cheap and does not require expensive international long-distance call charges to call to book a return airport bus. In addition, there is a No. 37 bus departing from the city until 10 o'clock in the evening for the return trip!
Backpacker hostels or youth hostels like this one have a large refrigerator for travelers to store their own food and cooking condiments, but they have to put them in a basket and write their name on it.
Otherwise, the hotel has the right to take away food without the name of the guest. Because some tourists have left but still haven't cleaned up their things, thus occupying public places.
Take An Qingju and Yunluo's tour bus to play desert surfing in the desert next to the Indian Ocean near the town. Wave Rock is located 245 kilometers north of Perth, the capital of Western Australia.
Price: AUD215 per adult, AUD108 per child, including lunch, car, tickets, guide and transfer.
This tour starts from the jetty in Perth at 8:00 in the morning. The full name of the jetty is Barrackst. It is located on the southernmost Swan River. Barrackst. runs north and south through Perth. From the beautiful Swan River, you can go north through the "Northbridge Area" and then continue north.
This jetty can be regarded as the tourist distribution center of Perth, where there are many express trains and so on.
There is also a tall modern clock tower on the lawn of the small square. This clock tower is also one of Perth's landmark buildings. There is a large arden between the high-rise buildings on the north side. In the garden is an ancient palace-style building of the Perth Supreme Court.
Because they need to pick up tourists from all over Perth to take them to the jetty, An Qingjue and Yunluo have to arrive at Mantra on Hay (Mantra Hotel on Hay Street), about 100 meters west of their hotel, at 7:20 in the morning to wait for a car to take them to the jetty.
So An Qingjue and Yunluo had to get up at 6:15 - because Yunluo didn't know how far Mantraonhay was from their hotel. When she asked Bonnie at the hotel, she was not familiar with it either, so she had to get up early.
This is the intersection of Hayst. and Bentst. west of Anqingju and Yunluo Hotel. The photo was taken from the front of Mantraonhay, where Anqingju and Yunluo were waiting for the bus, towards the direction of Anqingju and Yunluo Hotel. Anqingju and Yunluo Hotel is one building ahead of the blue house on the right side of the photo (it is blocked by trees in the photo).
An Qingjue and Yunluo arrived at their second attraction of the day: the lobster factory, at around 12:30 noon. An Qingjue and Yunluo will also have lunch here.
This lobster factory is the largest lobster fishing and processing base in Australia, and its main export destination is China. According to the introduction during the visit, their lobsters are all stored at low temperatures according to size and quality, with their whiskers and legs intact. After being exported abroad, they are all alive. When fishing, if they can't catch a lobster of the right size, they will release it back into the sea!
In this photo, on the right is the restaurant where An Qingjue and Yunluo will have their meal, on the left is the kitchen where the grilled lobsters are prepared, and directly facing the camera is the canteen in the visiting area of the lobster factory. The door to the right of the canteen is where you can watch the introduction video of the lobster factory, and behind it is the processing area of the lobster factory for visitors.
In addition, An Qingjue and Yunluo will have their meal in the restaurant here, but they will use the cold lunch boxes brought by the tour guide. Before An Qingjue and Yunluo enter the restaurant area of the lobster factory, the tour guide tells them that if they want to eat seafood, they can go to the canteen to pay first.
Then go to the restaurant. Yunluo understood this English sentence at the time, but just couldn't react. Why should I pay first and then visit? I didn't pay first, and ended up missing a delicious and authentic lobster meal (including half a grilled lobster, French fries and salad) - only AUD25 (about RMB 140)! If you go there in the future.
Be sure to remember to pay first, because it takes some time to prepare the lobster meal. After paying, you can use it after An Qingjue and Yunluo finish their tour.
An Qingjue and Yunluo first watched a video introduction to the lobster factory in this blue house. Then, the staff gave each of them a self-guided tour guide device, and An Qingjue and Yunluo entered the work area for the subsequent tour.
At each numbered mark in the work area, you can press the corresponding button on the self-guided tour device to listen to the explanation. There are many languages to choose from on this device, and there are also explanations in Chinese.
The Chinese young man working in the lobster farm held a large lobster for An Qingjue and Yunluo to take pictures with. The work in the lobster factory is very hard and really requires a lot of strength to do. The hardworking nature of An Qingjue and Yunluo is fully reflected here.
Next, An Qingju and Yunluo were going to visit the highlight of the day: the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park, 245 kilometers north of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. The bizarrely shaped stone pillars in the park are scattered throughout the desert, forming a unique spectacle.
The formation mechanism of pinnacles is similar to that of the Stone Forest in Yunnan Province of Yunluo State*: In ancient times, there was a vast shallow sea here, which deposited bioclastic limestone. As the sea gradually retreated, terrigenous clastic rocks such as sandstone and mudstone were deposited on the limestone.
The roots of the trees penetrated the soil and went deep into the rocks. As time went by, the earth's crust gradually rose, the original forests withered and died, the earth was weathered, and the limestones left between the original tree roots stood on the ground like stone towers. These were pinnacles.
In the bleak yellow sand, the stone towers of different heights stand in rows, making people feel as if they are at the end of the world. The locals jokingly call them "tomb markers in the wilderness."
It was already past 7pm when they walked out of the desert, so An Qingju and Yunluo could only drink at the LBH wine shop in town:
There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!
We originally ordered a homesoup + bread, a seafood basket, a pasta dish, and a local desert specialty. It turned out that the desert specialty was out of stock, and it was probably rare for so many customers to order dishes at once.
They forgot to cook seafood baskets for An Qingjue and Yunluo. As a result, they gave Yunluo two seafood baskets after Yunluo urged them. The seafood was indeed cooked well, but An Qingjue and Yunluo could only eat them on the car back to Perth.
After returning to the hotel that night, although it was very late, fortunately the supermarket next to the hotel was still open (the local foreigners work very hard and are still at work so late). Yunluo went to buy some fruits, instant noodles, milk, and chocolate (there is a supermarket with cheap and good quality on both sides of the hotel, which is very convenient! This is also one of the reasons why Yunluo chose this hotel.), very good!
I have to say a few more words here. If such an accident happened in China, the travel agency would definitely be attacked by the guests. At least the meal fee for that night would be paid by the travel agency, and a large amount of compensation would be required - the specific amount would depend on the guests' ability to argue. However, when An Qingju and Yunluo encountered this situation that day.
Everyone cooperated very well with the tour guide and driver, helping him to put plastic boards and push the cart. When the tour guide called the travel agency for help, An Qingju and Yunluo organized the rescue themselves, picked up the 7 or 8 tourists trapped in the car, and took out the luggage left in the car. Later, everyone followed the tour guide out of the desert.
No one complained, because everyone knew that it was not the guide's fault, but an accident. It was raining lightly that day, and the sand might have been stuck together, so this happened. Everyone understood that this reflected the quality of the tourists. At the same time, the travel agency immediately sent another car from Perth, 120 kilometers away, to pick up An Qingju and Yunluo. (To be continued...)
