Chapter 161 Qin An
On my way back, I suddenly saw a luxury car parked in front of me - a Rolls-Royce Phantom. The car gleamed in the sun, its body lines smooth and radiating a sense of luxury.
At this moment, I noticed a man standing next to the car door, seemingly waiting for something. When I got closer, I found that the man was Qin An.
Qin An was wearing a well-tailored suit, looking handsome and elegant.
His elegant and easygoing face,
I just glanced at him calmly and prepared to leave. However, Qin An stopped me.
"Qianqian, I want to talk to you about something." His voice was gentle and low, revealing an unquestionable firmness.
I stopped and looked at him in confusion.
"Mr. Qin, we are actually not familiar with each other." I replied coldly, not intending to get entangled with him too much.
However, Qin An walked up to me like a gentleman, opened the car door for me, and said, "Get in!"
I hesitated for a moment, but finally decided to get in his car. After all, if I refused too abruptly, it would be too disrespectful to Qin An.
Qin An saw me get in the car and also sat in the driver's seat gracefully.
He pressed the damper inside the car, isolating it from the driver's seat, then looked back at me with a thoughtful look in his eyes.
"When I saw you, I thought of the time when your mother and I were young. It's gone forever!"
He sighed and recalled his past with Li Feng.
After a moment's silence, Qin An spoke again: "Qianqian, your mother and I were once lovers. I have a feeling that you might be my daughter."
Hearing this, I froze, staring at him in shock, unable to believe my ears. How could this be possible? I had never imagined my life story could be so complicated.
"Mr. Qin, what are you talking about?" I muttered to myself, trying to sort out my thoughts.
I don't believe it at all.
"I came to meet you because I have two requests. I just want to meet your mother, and I also want to do a DNA test with you." Qin An said in a firm tone.
I was silent for a moment, took a deep breath, and then said, "Boss Qin, you're worrying too much. I can't be your daughter."
Qin An, as if he had grasped some important clue, continued to ask, "Your age is correct. Your birthday is in May, right?"
I nodded, feeling a little confused.
After receiving my confirmation, Qin An's eyes became firm, as if he had found the answer, and he said to himself: "It all fits."
However, I still found it hard to believe and shook my head, retorting, "That's impossible. My mother wouldn't do that."
Qin An looked at me, his eyes full of determination and affirmation, and said seriously: "Let's go and check it out." After that, he stretched out his hand and wanted to hold me.
I immediately took a step back, avoiding his touch, and said with a slightly trembling voice, "Boss Qin, I...I don't want to go for the test."
Qin An seemed to sense my resistance, but still insisted, "I won't hurt you, I might be your father!" His tone was full of eagerness and sincerity, and even tears welled up in his eyes.
I didn't dare to look him in the eye and turned my head away, my heart in turmoil.
This sudden news left me at a loss and difficult to accept for a while.
Qin An seemed to understand how I felt. He sighed, slowed down his speech and said, "I didn't lie to you, and I wouldn't say that for no reason. I almost got together with your mother back then. I've been wanting to see her these days, but she's been avoiding me." There was a hint of grievance in his tone.
Hearing this, I couldn't help but ask curiously, "Boss Qin, excuse me, don't you have a family?"
"I have never been married." He said sincerely.
"Mr. Qin, my mother is married and has lived with my father for so many years. I don't want you to disturb her. Besides, she doesn't want to see you. There must be a reason for that." I analyzed calmly.
"Qianqian, I was the one who let her down back then. My parents were always against it and threatened to commit suicide, so they forced me to leave your mother. In the past few years, my parents passed away one after another, so I..." Qin An's eyes were filled with sadness.
"We missed it, we missed it. My mother will never divorce to be with you. Mr. Qin, you are so outstanding, you will meet someone better in the future." I tried to persuade him as tactfully as possible.
Qin An sighed, "You may not be able to accept it for the time being. I can give you time to think about it, but I hope you can take this matter seriously. After all, this is related to your life experience, and I will not give up."
After that, he took out a business card from his pocket and handed it to me, "Here is my contact information. If you figure it out, you can contact me at any time."
I took the business card, took a look at it, and put it in my bag.
"Thank you, Mr. Qin. I will think about it carefully." I got out of the car and returned home with mixed feelings.
Is all this true? Am I really his daughter? A series of questions flooded my mind, leaving me feeling a little dazed.
