Chapter 38 Returning Home
Yu Sheng bought a lot of expensive gifts and a box of Moutai liquor for my family, and he took me back home.
As soon as I entered the house, my mother greeted me with a welcoming smile.
Yu Sheng asked his assistant and driver to put the gifts down.
"Qianqian, come and let mom see you." Mom happily held my hand.
Yu Sheng also came in and greeted her mother.
"Oh, Yu Sheng is here too. Come and sit down." Mom greeted Yu Sheng warmly, and he walked straight to the sofa and sat down.
"Her dad, come out quickly, Yao Qian is back." Mom called Dad.
My dad came out with a serious look on his face. Yu Sheng looked at Yao Qian's dad and also greeted him with a smile.
My dad looked at Yu Sheng and nodded. They sat in the living room and had a brief chat.
At this time, my mother turned to look at me and asked, "Qianqian, how long have you been with Yu Sheng?"
"We've had it for almost a month."

"Qianqian, Yu Sheng brought so many valuable gifts today. Your dad and I can't use them. Take them back to him!" Mom looked at the gifts and frowned slightly.
"Given his personality, he probably won't take it back." I replied calmly, "You guys keep it. If you don't like it, give it away."
My mother was cooking and planned to invite Yu Sheng and me to have dinner together.
"No, Auntie, we just finished eating." Yu Sheng responded with a gentle smile. Her voice was like melodious piano music, making people feel extremely comfortable.
Yu Sheng held my hand, and I immediately understood: "Mom, you don't have to do it. I'm going to get some clothes. I have early classes at school tomorrow. I'm going back with Yu Sheng first and will come back in a few days."
"You two haven't gotten married yet? Living together is not a good idea, is it?" My father spoke slowly, his voice low and full of worry.

"Please rest assured, I will take good care of her." Yu Sheng took my hand, looked at me gently and made a promise.

Yu Sheng was very satisfied with my performance. He smiled and took my hand in the car and said, "You can go to school tomorrow."

I lay in his arms and said, "Can I have a good rest tonight? I have classes tomorrow."

Yu Sheng knew Yao Qian's thoughts, but he was quite satisfied with her performance today! It was okay to let her rest appropriately.
