Chapter 45 Changbai Mountain
Time passed quickly, and the day we agreed to go to Changbai Mountain arrived in a blink of an eye.
The day before departure, Xu Fei posted the meeting place and time in the group chat and reminded everyone again: "Everyone remember to bring thick clothes, Changbai Mountain is very cold!"
After seeing the message, everyone replied "OK".
I also informed Yu Sheng about my schedule for the next day: "I'm going to Changbai Mountain with my classmates tomorrow and won't be back until the evening."

"No!" I yelled, opening my eyes. I realized that it was Gu Yucheng sitting next to me, and my hand was still holding his.
"What's wrong with you?"
Gu Yucheng frowned and glared at me, then he grabbed my hand and immediately pulled it out.
"I'm sorry... I... I had a nightmare!" I apologized.
"You can have nightmares, but remember to keep your distance from me!" Gu Yucheng leaned back in his seat with his arms wrapped around his chest.
"I know... I know." I whispered, trying to calm the panic brought by the nightmare.
"Yucheng, can you be a little more gentlemanly?" Hu Xin said after hearing our conversation.
Gu Yucheng picked up the snacks and threw them at Hu Xin. "You're talking nonsense to me!"
Hu Xin sensed Gu Yucheng's anger. "I won't say anything more. You're the boss!"
The car slowly drove into Changbai Mountain.
Changbai Mountain in winter resembles a dreamlike snowy wonderland. Snow-capped peaks, clad in a blanket of silver, are majestic and magnificent. Mountain lakes, frozen solid, resemble giant mirrors, reflecting the sunlight and shimmering with glittering light. A howling cold wind whips snowflakes into a fluttering flake, which then descends in a thick blanket of white, covering the ground with a thick blanket of silver.
The branches of trees in Changbai Mountain are covered with crystal-clear icicles, like exquisite works of art. Under the sunlight, the rime shimmers with an enchanting light, making people feel as if they are in a fairy tale world.
Our group of people, wearing thick clothes, were having fun, laughing and playing on the snow, and seemed to have forgotten all our worries in the laughter.
Wang Chenxi and Hu Xin chased and played with each other, while Chen Xue and Xu Fei had a snowball fight.
I was making a snowman nearby, and Gu Yucheng was sitting next to me, watching the beautiful scenery. Snowballs would occasionally hit us.
We both joined in the snowball fight, causing a burst of cheerful laughter. The cold weather did not dampen our enthusiasm, but instead made us cherish this rare happy time even more.
When we were tired from playing, they gathered together for a group photo. Xu Fei and Chen Xue leaned in close, Yang Chenxi and Hu Xin hugged each other, and Gu Yucheng and I kept our distance. At this moment, our faces were filled with happy smiles, and with a click, the photo was taken.

Soon the photos were printed out and we each had one.
Hu Xin held up the photo and exclaimed in amazement, "Look at all these handsome men and beautiful women! They really match well together!"
"Why are Yucheng and Qianqian so far apart? It's just a photo." Xu Fei said while looking at the photo.
Gu Yucheng looked at the photo, frowning, "I don't like girls! Why are you so close to me?"

"Wang Chenxi and I are indeed a perfect match!" Hu Xin said as he hugged Wang Chenxi.
At this moment, Changbai Mountain is filled with our laughter and joy...
