"Where do you live?" Lu Wan asked, his voice calm and steady.
“I’m staying at the specialty hotel next to here.”
"Why don't you live here? It will be convenient for you to commute to get off work." Lu Wan was curious, with a puzzled glint in his eyes.
"The room rate here is too expensive..." I responded after taking a sip of water.
"I'll help you solve it. You're a hotel employee and you should enjoy the benefits!" Lu Wan said, and took out his mobile phone to contact someone to solve my accommodation problem. His movements were as fast as lightning.
I grabbed his wrist that was holding the phone. "No... no need. I've already paid a month's rent there. Thank you very much!"
When Lu Wan saw me holding his hand, his face turned red and he laughed dryly twice. His laughter was as clear as a silver bell, as if expressing his joy.

"I... have someone I like in my heart!" I responded with a dull look in my eyes. It was someone I liked but with whom I could never be together.

I was shocked and almost choked on the water. I kept coughing and my movements were trembling like a leaf in the wind.
He came over and patted my back, and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"
I waved my hand and frowned: "Why do you think I would like Gu Yucheng?"
He asked with a serious expression, "Because at that time, the school was rumored that you two were together. I even saw him carrying you into the infirmary. Did you two like each other?"
"It's not him, we are just friends!" I responded indifferently.
"Who is that? How could he be so short-sighted that he doesn't want to be with you!" he asked frankly.
I said coldly, "You don't know me, but we are not together. However, I can't have room for anyone else in my heart, so it's unfair to you."
Lu Wan blushed and whispered, "I...actually don't care about fairness."
"Don't say that. I don't want to think about feelings." I refused directly.
"Okay, then I want to be friends with you too, okay?"
I looked at Lu Wan's sincere face and nodded.
"Can you give me your contact information?"
"good!"
He asked excitedly. "Have you enjoyed your visit here? Do you want me to show you around?"
"I won't bother you anymore!" I checked the time on my phone. "I'm going home now. We'll talk later."
I stood up and tried to leave.
Lu Wan followed directly and said enthusiastically: "I'll take you home."
I looked at his sunny face, and the corners of my mouth rose slightly, revealing a faint smile.
He has a very cheerful and sunny personality. He kept finding topics to talk about along the way and chatted with me enthusiastically.
It's a new day and I'm registering customer information at the hotel front desk.
Lu Wan came over with a sunny smile on his face. "Have you had breakfast?"
Then he handed me the breakfast, his smile was warm and beautiful.
"I have eaten, but you are not allowed to eat during work!" I reminded him in a soft and gentle voice.
Lu Wan's face was as red as a ripe apple. He walked to the hotel lounge and sat down, his eyes fixed on me.
"Yao Qian, go get Young Master Lu a glass of water." The lobby manager looked at Lu Wan with a gentle and caring look in his eyes.
I walked over with the water, handed it to him, and asked, "You've been sitting here all this time. Aren't you busy with something else?"
"Yao Qian, I... came here just to relax, nothing much to do!" Lu Wan smiled, and that smile was like the spring sunshine, warm and beautiful.
As soon as I got off work, changed my clothes and walked out, Lu Wan followed me immediately.
"I know there's a place with really delicious rice noodles. Do you want to go there?"
I watched his passion burn like a flame.
I nodded and said, I also have something to tell him.
