Chapter 108

The school remained unchanged; not a single blade of grass or tree had moved. Only the content on the bulletin board had changed, replaced by a new group of faces—younger, more energetic, and full of hope.

“I remember, your photo was posted right here,” Su Xun pointed to a spot, but now there was another face there, a girl with a ponytail.

“Hmm.” Pei Ke glanced at that spot; his photo had been there for three years.

"Hey, come here and look, I found something interesting." Su Xun was still standing in the same spot, but he was bent over so much that he was almost touching the glass outside the bulletin board.

He walked over and bent down to the same height as Su Xun, their heads gently touching.

"My goal is Senior Pei Ke!"

Su Xun slowly read the text below the photo, "It seems this top student is someone you know."

Below the photo of the girl with the ponytail, her college entrance exam goal was written boldly, revealing her secret thoughts.

Oh, it can no longer be described as sneaky.

Pei Ke also saw the line of small print and frowned slightly.

Looking at the photo more closely, the face seemed familiar, but I still couldn't place the person. Then I looked at the name next to it, and finally, a vague impression came to mind.

"She is my homeroom teacher's daughter; I've met her a few times."

"oh."

"We've only met a few times, don't overthink it."

"What can I think about? Let's go, let's go see other places." Su Xun got up and walked to the side.

She really hadn't thought much about it. Lots of people liked Pei Ke; she didn't need to waste her energy on such trivial matters. She'd just found the girl interesting and quite bold, and wondered how she'd gotten the teacher's permission to type that sentence.

When Pei Ke saw that the person had left, he assumed that the person was angry and felt a little anxious, so he quickly chased after them.

"There's really nothing between her and me."

"I really didn't suspect anything. If you keep doing this, I'm going to kiss you."

Sure enough, these words made someone blush.

He pursed his lips. "But this is a school, it's not a good place."

Su Xun didn't take those words to heart; they were just casual remarks, as he had already been drawn to the statue in front of him.

Two rows of statues faced each other, all of them world-famous figures, with their biographies inscribed below. It was strange that she hadn't noticed this when she came here last time.

Pei Ke was struggling with his decision when he looked up and saw that Su Xun had already walked away, which made him furious.

He took a few steps forward and stood next to the person.

"You broke your promise."

Su Xun asked in confusion, "When did I ever go back on my word?"

"You just said that."

Su Xun: ?

Before I could even voice my question, my lips were covered by something soft, with the scent of lemon—the two of us had just drunk lemonade.

So that's what he was struggling with, but didn't she say that they should continue to struggle with it before kissing?

This silly child not only took the joke seriously, but also misunderstood her meaning.

But it's so cute.

"Hey, what class are those two in front of you from? How dare they be so intimate on campus?"

A roar came from not far away, breaking the silence of the campus.

Pei Ke recognized the voice of Old Wang from the Academic Affairs Office, quickly released Su Xun, grabbed her wrist, and ran away into the distance, saying, "Hurry up."

The person chasing behind was exhausted; the layers of fat on his stomach jiggled and jiggled. Finally, he stopped, panting, and watched the two figures get further and further away.

Luckily, the school is big enough, otherwise they would have been caught up in no time.

The two ran to the back of a teaching building and stopped to rest.

“We’re not students here, why are you running away?” Su Xun straightened his clothes.

"So you want him to know that we're agile and got in by scaling the wall?"

Su Xun: ......

Winter break went by quickly, and school will start again soon.

Su Xun had been looking forward to going to school, and life at home was indeed as boring as she had expected. Her mother was at the flower shop almost every day, and her younger brother, Su Mu, went to school before the Lantern Festival, leaving her completely alone at home.

Occasionally she would help out at the flower shop, but most of the time she stayed in her room writing. Her new novel had already started, and she needed to save up the manuscript as soon as possible.

A few days later, school started, and I returned to my usual routine, which proceeded smoothly.
