Looking down, the deep blue lights turned red, creating a mysterious and romantic atmosphere.
“The color of the lights changes every hour on the hour,” Pei Ke explained.
The two stood on the rooftop, watching the entire area turn red, with a vast expanse of bright light raging before their eyes.
"Want to go ice skating?"
"Huh?" Su Xun turned to look at the man beside him. Half of the man's face was hidden in the darkness, while the other half was bathed in a red light. His eyes shone with a bewitching light, dazzling and enchanting.
"Didn't you say you'd take me out for fun? Let's go ice skating then." He leaned down, ruffled the girl's fluffy hair with his large hand, and smiled. "Scared?"
"How could I? I'll go!" She had been so confident that she would bring people here to have a great time, so of course she couldn't show any fear now, and she certainly wouldn't be scared by a little "ice skating".
"Come with me." Seeing Su Xun's stubborn little face raised, her eyes full of defiance, he couldn't help but chuckle.
Su Xun felt a tremor run through her heart from the soft chuckle in her ear; this man was exuding charm again.
While Su Xun was still in a daze, Pei Ke had already taken a few steps inside. Seeing Su Xun's dazed look, he stopped and said as he backed away, "I'm leaving, or I won't wait for you."
"Wait for me."
Tokyo's largest outdoor ice rink was also enveloped in countless lights, which reflected on the ice surface, adding a touch of fantasy to the otherwise monotonous ice.
The venue was already crowded with people, including children and couples supporting each other, creating a lively atmosphere.
Pei Ke paid the fee and brought back two pairs of ice skates.
"Do you know how to play this?" He sat back down on the bench next to Su Xun and handed her the ice skates.
"I've never done it before." Su Xun shook her head. She had only ever done roller skating; she had never actually stood on ice like this before.
The two of them quickly put on their shoes.
Pei Ke stood up first, reaching out to help Su Xun, who was too nervous to move, "Give me your hand, I'll take you for a few laps."
Wearing these shoes, she realized that it was a completely different experience from roller skates, and she immediately lost her confidence. Actually, she was quite afraid of falling, after all, she was already a young woman in her twenties and not as agile as she was when she was a child.
She placed her hand on the large hand in front of her, and a strong force lifted her up. Caught off guard, she fell into Pei Ke's chest, the scent of wood filling her nostrils.
"Don't be nervous, come with me." He gently comforted her, taking Su Xun's hands and stroking her skin to reassure her.
At first, the two moved very slowly, with laughing children constantly gliding past them, chasing after them, and then suddenly running past them with ease.
Gradually, Su Xun figured out the tricks and soon he was able to glide on his own without anyone's help.
She is very good at roller skating and has also studied dance, so her balance is naturally excellent. The reason she needed someone to take care of her at first was simply because she was nervous.
Soon, she was able to pick up speed and play freely on the ice. "It's not that hard."
Pei Ke chased after her, worried that she might bump into someone. Seeing that she easily dodged the people around her, he breathed a sigh of relief and chuckled, "You're amazing."
Su Xun said smugly, "I've never been afraid of something this level."
Pei Ke couldn't help but chuckle to himself, though he didn't say it aloud. He just watched her smug little face in front of him.
“Eh, Pei-san desuka.” A surprised girl’s voice came from behind. Su Xun subconsciously turned around to look at the person. It was a girl with bangs and an excited expression on her face as she looked at Pei Ke.
“Sasaki-san.” Pei Ke nodded to the person.
Seeing that the two knew each other, Su Xun couldn't help but ask curiously, "Is she your classmate?"
Pei Ke nodded. "Okay, wait for me a moment."
Then he took two steps forward and exchanged a few words with the girl. The man's gaze then turned to Su Xun, and he also had a curious look on his face.
Two minutes later, the girl slid up to Su Xun with a sweet smile on her face. "Hello, I'm Pei's classmate, my name is Sasaki."
The girl in front of me had a lovely smile and spoke broken Chinese, which made me feel good. I smiled back and said, "Hello, my name is Su Xun."
“Pei just said you are his lover.” Sasaki’s smile widened as she said this. She and Pei Ke had been classmates for half a year, and all their classmates knew that he had a girlfriend in China, but they had never met her.
Many girls have expressed their feelings for Pei Ke, but he has rejected them all.
Su Xun nodded, which was taken as an admission.
"Pei Ke, what are you doing here?" Another slender figure stopped gently beside her.
It was Lin Nuoyu who came looking for Sasaki. She and Sasaki had come together, but they had separated while ice skating. When she saw her chatting and laughing with someone, she turned around to take a look and discovered Pei Ke.
Yesterday afternoon, when Lin Nuoyu asked the person about their Christmas plans, the person said they weren't planning to go out. But now she's running into them here. Thinking about this, Lin Nuoyu felt a little uneasy. Wasn't it obvious that they didn't want to be with her?
"Lin Yu, Pei Yu's daughter Yu Yu." Sasaki saw his companion and waved.
Upon hearing this, Lin Nuoyu's heart skipped a beat. She looked at the red figure standing there and, sure enough, it was Su Xun, whom she hadn't seen in a long time. Her expression grew even colder.
Su Xun actually came to Japan to find him. It seems that Pei Ke didn't mean to offend him, but rather had someone more important to accompany him.
"Su Xun, it's been a long time." She forced a smile and looked at Su Xun, who was standing quietly over there.
"Senior sister." Su Xun smiled, but felt extremely uncomfortable inside.
