Chapter Sixteen: The Childish Demon

Su Xun struggled to move her legs. As the temperature gradually rose and she was climbing a mountain, she broke out in a light sweat. A few rays of sunlight shone through, making the beads of sweat on the tip of her nose sparkle.

"Hey—why are you still in the back? Why don't you just admit defeat to me?" Another annoying voice came from the front.

How come she never noticed this person had such a nasty side before?

Seeing that the little man behind him hadn't caught up after a long time, Pei Ke felt bored and stopped in front of a large rock, leaning against it to wait for someone to catch up.

A few minutes later, a yellow hue appeared in the field of vision, standing out conspicuously in the woods. At this moment, the little girl seemed to have great difficulty even lifting her leg forward, her forehead was covered in sweat, and her cheeks were flushed.

"Are you stupid?" Pei Ke ignored her and continued walking forward at the same pace as her.

The view ahead gradually brightened; we were almost at the summit.

Su Xun finally felt a touch of coolness.

Seeing that he was only a few steps away from the top of the mountain, Pei Ke took two steps at a time and reached the top in no time. A victorious smile flashed in his eyes. "I got to the top first. I won!"

Su Xun remained silent.

Childish ghost.
