"Okay, okay, I understand." Lin Can turned and walked to the side, whispering, "This method is quite suitable."
"Hu~~~" Alan took a long breath, looked at the massager, and then looked at his slender white hands. He felt numb. How could my hands make that kind of movement? Am I not innocent anymore?
"Alan, come and see what this looks like."
"Here I come."
Alan walked over and took the pen from Lin Can's hand: "Give me a pen?"
"Yes, we are just friends after all. Giving other things would cause misunderstandings, like a water cup, for a lifetime. Giving a pillow, which means cuddling together at night, is too complicated. A fountain pen is the most appropriate. We are both students, so this is a gift to write a beautiful future for our lives."
"Oh... makes sense. We do need to pay attention to these details when giving gifts. Although fountain pens are rarely used nowadays, they are still used occasionally. This one is suitable. Let's take this one." Alan felt that Lin Can was quite good. He knew the limits very well. Unlike some boys who were vague when giving gifts, it showed that he really had no bad intentions. So when he asked me to help him type that thing just now, it was just a joke.
Alan felt relieved.
Lin Can: "Boss, give me four."
"Four?" Alan asked. "Four girls?"
"My friend is with her classmates."
"I see."
"What are you buying?"
"Figures, what kind of figures do you think boys like?"
"I like them all. Boys aren't so particular. Here, this Rem is pretty good."
"Okay, let's buy this one."
The two of them bought gifts and walked out of the mall. Alan smiled and said, "Lin Can, you must not have eaten enough just now. There is a food court up ahead. I'll treat you to some snacks."
Lin Can said awkwardly, "Uh... I wasn't full just now. It's not that your food isn't tasty, I think it's delicious, but I'm a little bit tired of it."
"I understand. My classmates are not used to it either. It's okay. Let's go."
This food court was made up of temporary stalls, and there were many people shopping at night. The two of them were walking around, eating, and chatting. Alan saw someone selling spicy and sour potatoes over there and asked, "Lin Can, do you want to eat that?"
"I'm almost done, buy it if you want to eat."
"I'll buy a small bowl to try."
Alan ran over to buy a small bowl. When he came back, he saw a stall owner on the flip-flops next to him setting up a telescopic rack to hang clothes for sale. After setting up the rack, the owner got down from the flip-flops and went to get clothes from the box.
At this moment, the shelf above his head shook, and suddenly there was a "bang". When Alan was about to come over, the shelf fell off, and the clothes rack on it fell towards Alan's head.
"Watch out overhead!"
Seeing this, Lin Can rushed over without thinking and pulled Alan to the side. The clothes rack fell with a "bang", hitting Lin Can's stomach and then fell to the ground.
Lin Can hissed and squatted on the ground, feeling a severe stomachache.
"Sorry, sorry--" the boss hurried over and apologized repeatedly.
"You left without putting your things together. You're trying to hurt me, aren't you?" Alan snapped, squatting down and soothingly asking, "Lin Can, are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
"It's okay, I'll just take it easy." Lin Can said.
Alan scolded the boss a few more times, then looked at Lin Can squatting on the ground with a painful expression on his face, "Get up, I'll take you to the hospital."
"Really, no need. Just take it easy."
"stand up."
"Slow down, slow down."
Lin Can was pulled up by Alan. This girl was quite strong.
After all, Lin Can was injured while saving Alan, so Alan was naturally very concerned. He left his boss's phone number and helped Lin Can leave. Lin Can walked carefully with his arms around his waist because his stomach hurt when he straightened his back.
There was no time to walk out. On the roadside at night, with no one around, Lin Can said, "Let go first. I'll go to the side to see if there are any injuries."
"Um."
Alan let go, and Lin Can went to the green belt nearby, lifted up his clothes and looked at his stomach. There was a red mark on it from being hit by the clothesline, but it was just a superficial injury.
Behind her, Alan saw Lin Can checking with his head down. She thought that the clothesline had hit him, so he was checking there.
I felt very guilty. If he hadn't saved me, he wouldn't have been injured, and that place, which is very important for a man. If it was really broken, how could he continue to do that every day in the future?
The more I thought about it, the more guilty I felt and worried something might go wrong.
"Lin Can, what's wrong?" Alan asked with a red face. After all, she thought that some part of her body was injured, so she was very shy, but as a friend she had to say hello.
Lin Can came back bent over: "It's red, swollen, and painful. Help me to go to the pavilion next to you to rest for a while."
"Okay." Alan helped Lin Can walk into the path next to the green belt. Inside was a built urban green space. It was late at night and there was no one there. He helped Lin Can sit down in the pavilion. There was no light and only moonlight could be seen.
"It's okay." Alan glanced at that place, shyly brushed his hair around his ear, and turned his head to look to the other side.
"It's getting more and more painful. It's more swollen than before. It hurts when I touch it." Lin Can rubbed his stomach.
"Why don't we go to the hospital?" Alan said without looking back.
"You don't have to go to the hospital. Why are you turning away? Are you so shy?" Lin Can asked a little puzzled.
"Of course I have to turn my head." Alan thought to himself, "If I don't turn my head, why would I turn my head to look at that? I'm not that kind of woman. I haven't seen her, and I don't want to look at that."
"I think we should go to the hospital. Alan, help me up."
"good."
Only then did Alan turn around and help Lin Can.
"No, no, I can't move. It hurts when I move. I'd better sit here." Lin Can sat down and sighed, "Alan, you go back. I'll be fine after a rest."
