Chapter 44 The Koi Fish Seeks Help and Learns a Lesson (Revised)
Gu Yiliu understood.
But she felt like she had been tricked by the system.
This was her only thought after hearing the system's explanation.
"So, which world do I belong to?"
DianDian: "You used to be a person from the apocalypse, now you're a person here. You can choose from now on."

"Because I'm not here, the apocalypse is currently at a standstill," Dot explained.
Gu Yiliu: "So you want to accumulate power here and then return to the apocalypse?"

"There are only a few drinks left?" Gu Yiliu said regretfully.
Dian Dian hummed in agreement. "Many people searched everywhere for supplies to survive, but after so many years in the apocalypse, there are hardly any supplies left. This is all the supplies I collected before the apocalypse stopped. After I brought them back, I drank some of it, so there's even less left."
It dared not drink too much, fearing that if it drank it all, it would be unable to offer anything and no one would be willing to help it.
"...Are you human?"

"Why are there so many chickens?"

The next second, Gu Yiliu heard a sharp and terrifying voice.
"Let me go! You said you wouldn't do anything to me if I gave you the money! Let me go!"
Gu Yiliu ran to the lobby, glanced at the fish tank, and saw two koi fish nervously staring in the direction of the front desk.
With a spring of energy, Gu Yiliu jumped onto the front desk, lifted the man who was on top of a woman, and flung him out of the front desk.
"ah……!"
A bloodcurdling scream, like a pig being slaughtered, shattered the silence of the lobby. A man in his forties was curled up on the ground in pain, his face, which had been flushed red, turned deathly pale from the fall.
"Who...is it?"
Gu Yiliu walked past the reception desk and stood in front of the man. "Me!"
The man struggled to his feet, clenched his fist, and swung it at Gu Yiliu, yelling, "You bitch, you're asking for it!"
The man's punches were powerful; even if he hadn't trained, he was definitely a skilled fighter.
"Watch out!" The hotel receptionist, still shaken, saw the fist and exclaimed to warn Gu Yiliu.
"First-rate, don't leave any traces," Dian Dian reminded him. "And wait a bit, wait until he arrives before you hit him."
Gu Yiliu nodded, then turned to look behind him. "Go call the police."
After saying that, she dodged to the side just as the fist was about to hit her face. The man was furious, but now that he realized what was happening, seeing her attractive expression, he felt a strong urge to grab her. He changed his strategy and reached out to grab her somewhere.
Gu Yiliu gave him a cold look. If there weren't no witnesses in the hall, he would have been dead eight hundred times over.
"First-rate, someone's here."
Gu Yiliu turned around and saw that it was Han Yi and several guests.
It's all settled now.
Gu Yiliu stopped Han Yi from coming over with a look, then grabbed the man's outstretched hand and twisted it hard.
In an instant, another scream of agony rang out.
Hearing the man's screams, the female receptionist gritted her teeth and ran out to call for help.
"You! You filthy woman, how dare you!" Ignoring his broken hand, the man swung his other hand and cleverly stepped back as Gu Yiliu kicked at him.
But Gu Yiliu wasn't about to let him get away with it. He chased after him, kicking him, this time aiming for his lower body. The man couldn't dodge in time and managed to block with his hand.
The man's face changed drastically as he blocked her, the pain in his hand contorting his features. He stared at her in bewilderment, "Your leg..."
The man glanced at his hand. He had clearly felt that the woman's leg was extremely hard, like a piece of iron. When his hand touched her leg, he felt as if the bones were dislocated, and he couldn't exert any force at all.
Gu Yiliu looked at his flushed face and said, "You think I dare to kick you? If you've got the guts, don't try to dodge!" She kicked the man in the stomach, knocking him to the ground. Food and drinks spilled from his mouth, emitting an unpleasant smell.
But after she kicked him, she would click her tongue in dissatisfaction and say, "Tsk, what a spineless man."
"I'm going to kill you!" The man's eyes were bloodshot as he glared at Gu Yiliu with hatred, vomiting as he spoke.
Upon hearing this, Gu Yiliu kicked him again, this time targeting the spot the man had been desperately trying to protect. The man groaned in pain, his face pale as he curled up in agony. "You've got some nerve, daring to force yourself on a woman!"
When the receptionist called someone back, she discovered that her savior was hiding, while the man was chasing and hitting him.
"First-class..."
Gu Yiliu heard the system notification that the police officers had arrived. She had been waiting for them to arrive. She saw the man rush over and kick her, and she raised her hand to block him.
The force of the impact sent her back two steps, her arm going numb. The man, exhilarated, kicked her twice more.
"Stop!" the police officer shouted.
"I'm going to fight back!" Gu Yiliu smiled at the man, who felt a little strange.
He quickly realized what was strange. This wretched woman had beaten him senseless! She'd been faking it all along!
The man, like a spoiled dog, was beaten until he vomited by her savior.
After the man recovered from the pain, he struggled to get up. Gu Yiliu watched as he climbed out of his vomit, his hands covered in disgusting filth.
She frowned and kicked the man again.
"puff!"
The man ejaculated only liquid from his stomach.
Gu Yiliu quickly pulled his foot back to avoid getting his shoes dirty, then switched feet and kicked the man in the buttocks.
The man was kicked repeatedly, and he screamed in anger.
"Useless trash, go yell at your mother!"
Gu Yiliu picked an unidentified fruit from a green plant and threw it at him.
The fruit fell straight into the man's mouth like a parabola.
"Hmm!"
The man had even lost two of his front teeth.
The man glared at Gu Yiliu, trembling with rage, wishing he could tear her to pieces.
But the battle was over. He only needed to take one step forward to see Gu Yiliu raise her foot; if he dared to move, she would kick him. The man could only grip the fruit in his mouth tightly. But unable to get it out, he became even angrier.
Gu Yiliu looked at the police officers at the scene and handed the mess over to them to handle.
The police officers handcuffed the man's hands behind his back and removed the fruit from his mouth. The man seemed relieved, but seeing that Gu Yiliu was unharmed, he became angry again and shouted that he was innocent, "Let me go! Otherwise, you'll be sorry! That bitch, arrest her too! She...she tried to kill someone!"

The man's face contorted with rage. "I told you to arrest her!"
The police officer holding him saw him struggle and tightened the handcuffs even more. The man, who already had injuries on his hands, was in so much pain that he lay on the ground, his previous arrogance completely gone.

"It hurts! My body hurts so much!" the man cried out, his resentful gaze almost tearing Gu Yiliu to pieces. "Grab her! I'm covered in injuries!"
Gu Yiliu looked innocent as she looked at her police officer. "I hit him in self-defense. I didn't hit him very hard. He was bullying the female receptionist. I heard the noise and came to stop him. Officer, I support the medical examination."
Gu Yiliu's blows were so subtle that they wouldn't leave a mark easily. "Besides, I have witnesses to prove that he had ill intentions."
The police officers examined the man and found no signs of being beaten. They then looked at the crowd of onlookers.
"Were they all guests staying at the hotel? Did you see him start the fight?"
The group hesitated before speaking, "When I arrived, I saw him constantly reaching out to grab this woman's...breast."
"Yes, I saw it too."
“That’s right,” Han Yi said, stepping forward and handing his identification to the two police officers. “I’m also a police officer. I guarantee with my career and my integrity that he intended to do something inappropriate to Comrade Gu Yiliu.”
The two police officers exchanged a glance, then looked at Gu Yiliu, their future colleague.
"Go to the police station and give a statement first."
"Let me go!" the man said, dissatisfied with their attitude.
"You're not cooperating with our police response, you won't even tell us your name, and when we arrived you were the one kicking her, so we're locking you up for now," the police officer warned him, telling him not to move around any further.
The man glared at the two policemen, his face sinister. "Do you know who I am? How dare you lock me up?!"

Wang Lutang was so angry he almost gritted his teeth. "You'll regret this!"
Gu Yiliu glanced at Wang Lutang. Could it be that she was someone who had been drugged?
