Qi Nuan's back hit the wall with a loud bang.
There was only her and Gu Hui, who was looking furious, in the room. He even closed the door, which made her feel nervous.
"what you do?!"
Qi Nuan shouted and pulled his arm out with force, hoping to attract the attention of people passing by, but due to the height difference, Gu Hui still blocked him and the wall.
"I told you, I can give you everything that Mr. Lu can give you. I even gave you such an important position as a director. Why on earth are you still giving me trouble?"
The man's face was filled with anger, and his eyes were cold and a little scary. Qi Nuan was really afraid that he would strangle her to death in a fit of impulse.
She was on guard, but she still refused to admit defeat: "It was Mr. Gu who broke the rules first. I just fulfilled my duty as a law-abiding employee."
Gu Hui was indeed even more enraged.

Although Qi Meng has someone protecting her, she is not sure enough that her sister can stay under protection.
Most importantly, given what the madman Gu Hui had done in the past, it is really possible that he persecuted them.
When the elevator went down to the first floor, Qi Nuan saw several security guards disguised in the lobby. He felt relieved and immediately called his sister.
Qi Meng had just woken up from a nap, and her answer was full of confusion when her sister asked her where she was.
Qi Nuan simply reiterated her request to stay at home and within the bodyguard's sight, then hung up the phone.
Then she dialed Lu Yin's number, but the call only received a busy tone.
No reply to messages, no phone calls, could that be the case?
Qi Nuan quickly shook his head to deny his unrealistic worries. He was Lu Yin, the very powerful Young Master Lu.
But then, her phone rang with a message alert. It was Qi Meng. In the message, she praised her brother-in-law for loving her so much that he even sent his usual bodyguards to protect her, and comforted Qi Nuan not to worry.

Qi Nuan was suddenly shocked. Lu Yin's special assistant Zhao was here with her, and his usual bodyguard was sent to protect her sister. What about him?
She no longer cared about her image and jogged all the way through the Gu building, quickly reaching the parking lot and finding her car waiting for her.
Qi Nuan hurriedly got into the back seat of the car and panted as he gave Special Assistant Zhao an order: "Call him!"
As Lu Yin's most reliable special assistant, Zhao Yu naturally understood who the "he" in this sentence was referring to.

He came back and reported to Qi Nuan, who was holding Lu Yin's phone and thinking, "There are no signs of a fight."

Lu Yin had gone out on his own, even wearing a formal suit. Was he meeting a business partner? But why didn't he bring any communication tools?
While she was checking these, Zhao Yu made several phone calls to different places to inquire about the boss's whereabouts, but she got no results.
