Chapter 47 Of course my sister

Maybe because he ate too much hotpot for dinner, at five o'clock in the morning, Qi Nuan felt uncomfortable in his stomach. He got up and wanted to take some stomach medicine from the medicine box.

As soon as she went out, she was startled by the dark shadow lurking in the living room.

When I turned on the light, I found out it was Qi Meng.

Maybe she got up to go to the bathroom, and when she came back she fell asleep on the sofa.

Although the floor heating is on in the house, it is still winter after all.

Seeing her sister lying there without covering herself with anything, Qi Nuan was a little worried that she would catch a cold.

"Qi Meng, get up and go to sleep in the bedroom."

Qi Meng woke up faster than expected. Qi Nuan patted her shoulders twice and she quickly opened her eyes.

"Sister, I'm your sister, right?"

This was the first thing she asked after she sat up.

Qi Nuan sat down next to her and raised his hand to rub her hair.

"Of course you are my sister. I watched your parents bring you home from the hospital. You grew up from a tiny baby to this big. If you are not my sister, do you want to be someone else's sister?"

Qi Meng coquettishly nestled into her sister's arms: "No, I only recognize you as my sister."

Qi Nuan didn't reject her affection and patted her back gently: "What did someone say to you?"

She felt Qi Meng in her arms stiffen for a moment, but she didn't say anything.

"What others say to you may have many purposes. Just listen to it and don't take it to heart. Just remember that what your family tells you is the real truth."

"Well, I only believe what my sister says." Qi Meng nodded heavily.

Looking at the time, it was not far from dawn. The two sisters talked and felt energetic, so they simply got up and had breakfast together after a long time.

Because Qi Meng's part-time job at the Pei family had not yet ended, Qi Nuan drove her back to the Pei family after dinner.

"Sister, was that video sent by Gu Hui?"

Qi Meng, who was sitting in the passenger seat, suddenly asked in a relatively calm tone.

Qi Nuan glanced at her, then quickly turned his head back to focus on the road ahead.

"Do you know him?"

"I don't know him." Qi Meng answered quickly.

"But when I met Mr. Gu before, he would sometimes complain about being constrained in the Gu family, saying that he and his wife had no feelings for each other, and that his second son was treacherous and not on the same page with him. He also asked me to avoid him as much as possible and stay away from his son."

Qi Nuan nodded: "That's right, stay away from him."

With Gu Hui's crazy personality, who knows what he might do.

"But it wasn't him who sent it... Anyway, he's someone we sisters can't afford to offend."

Qi Meng didn't ask any more questions and remained silent for a while.

"Sister, can you help me sell that house? I want to take this opportunity to take some time off and come back to see if I'm cut out for the entertainment industry. Maybe I'll even want to change jobs."

Not knowing why her sister had this change, Qi Nuan expressed her support.

Moreover, it was indeed more appropriate for her to sell the house than Qi Meng, so she agreed.

She planned to take some time to check out the house before listing it through an agent.

"Don't go out alone during this period. If your agent contacts you about any activities, call me first and I will help you turn it down."

Qi Nuan reminded her sister again, watched her agree, turned and entered the Pei family's house which was guarded by security personnel, and then she drove away.

Today is Sunday, and Qi Nuan has an appointment to visit Qi Zhangkai at Grandpa Lu's place in the morning.

During their previous phone call, Grandpa Lu asked her about her child’s schooling.

Qi Nuan once thought about finding a school for Zhang Kai herself, but Lu Yin suggested that it would be better for her to let her grandfather make the arrangements.

She could see that the old man really liked Qi Zhangkai and treated him no differently than his own great-grandson.

Most importantly, Qi Zhangkai himself also likes to follow the great-grandfather of the Lu family.

Qi Nuan did not insist and followed Grandpa Lu's arrangement, letting her nephew continue to stay in the Lu family's old house, and she visited him regularly.

"aunt!"

After not seeing each other for a few days, Qi Zhangkai became much more cheerful and ran over as soon as he saw Qi Nuan.

"Little guy, it's easy to bump into someone if you run around so big in the house."

Qi Nuan scratched his nephew's nose, listened to his embarrassed promise of "I'll be more careful next time", and then hugged him.

"Auntie misses you very much. Are you being good here? Do you miss Auntie too?"

Qi Zhangkai nodded vigorously: "Yes, dear. I miss my aunt and uncle so much. It would be great if you could come every day."

After saying that, he stretched his neck to look behind Qi Nuan again, expressing his disappointment that the uncle he missed did not show up.

"Then why don't you come home with me so that you can see us every day."

When the little guy heard this, he immediately hesitated and couldn't help but look back at the little girl who was waiting for him obediently not far away.

"But I still have to study with Lu Fei. We just agreed yesterday to read the same book and share our thoughts. Aunt, can I not go back yet?"

Qi Nuan and Lu Fei's mother Lu Qianer were both amused.

Lu Qianer walked forward, nodded to Qi Nuan, and called out, "Sister-in-law."

Qi Nuan quickly returned the greeting, feeling a little uncomfortable with the address: "Can we still call each other the same as before?"

Lu Qian'er was two years older than Qi Nuan. She smiled, nodded, and changed her name to "Xiao Nuan."

Qi Nuan smiled more casually this time and called her, "Qian'er."

"Oh, it's a good thing you didn't call me sister anymore. Now that you're someone's wife, you're much more sensible."

Old Master Lu also came over and made fun of Qi Nuan's embarrassing incident when she was a child and insisted on taking Lu Qian'er home to be her older sister.

"Hello, Grandpa."

Qi Nuan greeted the old man and Mr. Lu nodded.
