"Xiao Wan is right, Grandpa, I'm not angry."
Grandpa Su patted Su Yinwan's hand and laughed heartily.
"Xiao Wan, dinner is ready. Bring Grandpa over for dinner."
Aunt Qin, who was busy in the kitchen, turned around and called out to Su Yinwan.
"Hey, Aunt Qin, I'm coming right now."
After saying that, Su Yinwan helped Grandpa Su up and walked towards the restaurant.
The loan incident didn't really affect anyone's mood.
The lunch was quite pleasant.
After lunch, Grandpa Su went for his afternoon nap as usual.
There aren't many attractive attractions in the northern part of the city.
Su Yinwan didn't plan to take Rong Jing out for a stroll either.
Thinking of the room on the second floor, an idea suddenly came to her mind.
"Ah Jing, come with me to the second floor."
Su Yinwan suddenly took Rong Jing's hand and went back to the room.
After they entered the room, Su Yinwan bypassed him and gently closed the door.
Before she could turn around, she was gently embraced by the man behind her.
Rong Jing rested his sexy chin on Su Yinwan's shoulder.
The scent of gardenias emanating from her was still as alluring as ever.
"Mrs. Rong, it's daytime."
"What, you're in such a hurry?"
Su Yinwan smiled helplessly and pried the man's hands off her waist.
“My dear Mr. Rong, can you please stop thinking about those images? I just want to help you tidy up some old things.”
The man's hopes were dashed, and he frowned slightly.
But he still didn't easily let go of the woman in his arms.
He leaned down and kissed her perfectly smooth collarbone.
Looking into Su Yinwan's captivating eyes, Rong Jing finally couldn't suppress the heat rising within him.
He could no longer control himself in her presence.
Then, thin lips covered that soft touch again.
Su Yinwan wrapped her fair, delicate arm around Rong Jing's neck and leaned closer to him.
The man smiled and wrapped his arm around her waist.
The two worked together seamlessly and enjoyed themselves.
Afterwards.
With a rosy complexion, Su Yinwan leaned against the man's heaving chest.
Rong Jing's hot, thin lips pressed against the woman's ear, and a seductive voice escaped from his mouth.
"She's such a bewitching enchantress; every smile and frown is a deadly poison. Su Yinwan, you'll never escape my grasp in this lifetime."
"Hmm~"
Su Yinwan touched her slightly swollen lips and responded in a coquettish voice.
"Alright, let's start cleaning up."
Su Yinwan walked to the desk, bent down and reached out to pull open the top drawer.
Inside were picture books with slightly yellowed covers.
When I took them out, there were six books in total.
Su Yinwan sat down and slowly flipped through her old paintings.
From the initial immature brushwork to the gradual maturation of composition, it is truly a sense of accomplishment.
The painting depicts flowers and plants, grandparents, and neighbors such as Grandma Yang and Grandpa Ouyang, as well as a small courtyard and ancient buildings in the town.
The art style used to be playful and cute, with a stronger anime and film feel.
Nowadays, the art style is more delicate and beautiful, even somewhat aloof.
As she turned page after page, a drawing caught her eye, bringing back a flood of memories.
Su Yinwan vaguely remembered that it was the summer vacation of the year she finished her college entrance examination.
There just happened to be a painting competition being held in the city.
The theme is childhood memories.
Grandpa heard about this from people in town, and then he ran home to tell her.
Grandpa thought that her talent should not be wasted.
Although Su Yinwan hadn't picked up a pen for a long time in preparation for the college entrance examination.
But her grandfather had complete faith in her.
He firmly believed she could win the award.
Su Yinwan did not back down.
She and her grandfather went to the city to register before the registration deadline.
After that, I focused on practicing at home and brainstorming themes.
A week later, it was time for the competition.
That day, Grandpa didn't go out to work, and he didn't even go when Grandpa Zhou came to ask him to play chess.
He specially set aside this day to accompany his beloved granddaughter to the city for a painting competition.
That morning, Grandma cooked her favorite clear soup noodles, along with a sausage and two poached eggs.
It symbolizes a good outcome.
Throughout the journey, Grandpa kept encouraging Su Yinwan, telling her not to be too nervous and to just do her best.
Su Yinwan looked at her grandfather's slightly trembling hands and smiled in return to ease his anxiety.
"Grandpa, I'm not nervous at all. This is nothing compared to when I took the college entrance exam."
"But you seem more nervous than I am. Don't worry, I'll do my best."
"Yes, Grandpa will wait for you outside. After your competition, we'll go home together. Your grandma said she's going to prepare a big meal for you at home."
"Uh-huh."
For some reason, that summer was unusually hot, hotter than ever before.
The midday sun made the cement ground scorching hot, and even the little dog ran along without stopping for a second.
The weather was so hot and humid that there wasn't a breath of wind.
Grandpa Su didn't go looking for a place to cool off; he remained standing outside the competition venue, waiting for Su Yinwan.
Although there was a large umbrella at the entrance to block out the sun, it was still unbearably hot.
His clothes were already soaked with sweat.
But there was no hint of impatience on his face; he waited with great joy for Su Yinwan to finish the competition.
"Grandpa, why didn't you find a shady spot to wait for me? Look how sweaty you are!"
When Su Yinwan came out, she saw Grandpa Su standing at the door.
His dark face was sunburned red, and his clothes were soaked with sweat.
Su Yinwan felt very sorry for her.
"It's nothing, just a little sweat. I was hoping you'd see me first thing after the competition."
