As expected, Ye Chen was standing there.

"This meal was something I should have treated you to."
Yunhe stepped forward, trying to stop the phone that had already opened the payment code.
Unfortunately, the man held the phone high, and she, being shorter, couldn't reach it at all.
"I ate this meal too, so I should pay the bill."
Ye Chen smiled faintly and grabbed Yun He's raised forearm.
"No matter what I say, it won't do. I promised to treat you last time, but you ended up paying. And now it's your turn to pay again. How many meals do I owe you?"
When Yunhe realized she couldn't get Ye Chen's phone, she opened her own payment code.
"Come on, miss, scan mine, don't worry about him."
Yunhe walked to the side and gestured for the receptionist to scan her payment code.
Little did Yunhe know, she didn't notice the waiter passing by behind her.
He was holding a steaming bowl of hot soup in his hand.
As she shifted her position, just as she was about to collide with him, Ye Chen quickly pulled her into his arms.

The waiter serving the soup and Ye Chen standing nearby were truly terrified.
At this moment, the two were pressed tightly together.
The ambiguous atmosphere has begun again.

Just then, a couple walking up from behind spoke up to remind them.

Seeing Ye Chen turn and walk towards Yun He, she reminded him that he hadn't picked up the jasmine tea that they had just packed for him.
Then, Ye Chen turned around and picked up the two large boxes of flower tea.
"Let's go."
After saying that, Yunhe followed Ye Chen back to her seat.
"Yuhang, are you done eating? Let's go."
"Uh-huh."
Yunhe returned to her seat, picked up her backpack, and packed a few things she would need to go back to Beicheng.
Then, the three of them walked out of Guixiangju together.
"I'll be going now, let's meet again sometime."
Wang Yuhang smiled and said goodbye to Yunhe.
Despite feeling somewhat displeased, he didn't show it when facing Ye Chen.
Finally, he politely and gentlemanly said goodbye to Ye Chen.
Wang Yuhang felt a pang of regret, realizing he hadn't given away the bracelet he bought that day, nor had he had the chance to confess his feelings.

Then, Ye Chen started the car, turned the steering wheel, and drove towards the north of the city.
Worried that Yunhe might be bored, he had downloaded a few new songs beforehand, which he was now playing in the car.
Yunhe hadn't slept much last night, and her eyelids were already drooping.
Soon, she leaned back in her seat and gradually fell asleep.
Seeing that she had fallen asleep, Ye Chen adjusted the car's air conditioning to the optimal temperature.
Although no one was there to talk to him and he was driving all the way, Ye Chen felt that the trip was very meaningful just to see the person sitting in the passenger seat.

Today, everyone is making mooncakes in the old house.
Early in the morning, Rong's mother had already arranged for the servants to prepare the ingredients for making mooncakes.
After lunch, we can start making mooncakes.
"Where's Xiao Chen?"
Madam Rong hadn't seen Ye Chen all day. At first, she thought he was resting in his room, but he didn't come down for lunch either, so she asked Duanmu Jun.
He texted me this morning saying he had something to do out today and wouldn't be back until around 6 p.m.
“What important thing could this child have that would require him to be out all day?”

Today's mooncakes have several kinds of fillings.
Red bean paste, egg yolk lotus seed paste, mung bean and chestnut paste, taro paste, and matcha lava filling.
The Rong family didn't particularly enjoy eating mooncakes; what they enjoyed more was the process of making them.
It's truly rare to see a family sitting around the dining table, chatting and laughing.
I made quite a few mooncakes this time. Besides giving some to a few close friends, I can distribute the rest to the servants at home.
