Changzhen Hospital.
"Good morning, Xiaolin! I brought you breakfast today. See if it's good?"
Yunhe took out a breakfast and greeted the nurse at the front desk in a very familiar manner.
When the nurse saw Yunhe, she joked, "Miss Yun, you've come to see Dr. Ye again. But Dr. Ye just went in to perform surgery, so you'll probably have to wait a while."
"It's alright, I'll go into the office and wait for him," Yunhe said with a smile.
After saying that, she walked into Ye Chen's department as if she knew the way well.
The nurse at the front desk watched Yunhe's retreating figure. She wasn't sure if this Miss Yun was Dr. Ye's girlfriend, but Dr. Ye had never kicked her out of the hospital, though he hadn't revealed her identity either.
As a result, the topic of conversation at the hospital these past few days has been everyone speculating about the relationship between Dr. Ye and this Ms. Yun.
During this time, Yunhe followed Ye Chen like a leech, going to his hospital to look for him and waiting for him at his apartment.
Ye Chen made it clear to Yun He from the beginning that he did not want to have a girlfriend and would not get married.
But Yunhe ignored it completely.
She continued to flirt with him and bother him as always, but Ye Chen was sometimes out of the clinic, sometimes making rounds, and sometimes performing surgery, so he didn't have time to pay attention to her.
Yunhe walked into Ye Chen's office. She had been there four or five times, but had never really looked around the place properly.
A common style, with a cabinet full of documents and medical books, a black leather sofa, and a transparent glass coffee table.
She walked to his desk and sat down. On the desk were a computer, a pen holder, and some scattered documents.
Yunhe turned her head to look to her left and saw a picture frame.
The boy inside looked about eleven or twelve years old, grinning and showing off his big white teeth. Standing next to him was a kind-looking woman with a sweet smile on her lips and gentle features.
Yunhe guessed that the boy must be Ye Chen, and the woman next to him must be his mother.
Upon closer inspection, Yunhe noticed that the right side of the photograph had been torn, suggesting that there might have been another person nearby.
Yunhe was so engrossed in watching that she didn't even notice Ye Chen coming in.
"What are you doing? Put it down." Ye Chen said coldly as he saw the photo frame in her hand.
Yunhe was startled, and her hand trembled slightly.
She looked up and, like a child who had done something wrong, forced a smile and said, "Uh, I'm sorry, I touched your things without your permission."
So she carefully put the photo frame back in its original place and quickly walked up to Ye Chen.
"I brought you breakfast. I bought you multigrain porridge and steamed buns. I don't know if you like them?"
Then, he pointed to the breakfast on the coffee table.
Without saying a word, Ye Chen picked up the breakfast, took Yun He's hand, and walked out of the hospital.
His tone was somewhat displeased, "Miss Yun, don't waste your time on me anymore. I'll say it again, we're impossible, and I won't give you another chance. Goodbye."
After saying that, he went into the hospital without looking back.
Looking at his aloof back, Yunhe felt unwilling. "I will win you over. They say it's easy for a woman to pursue a man, and I will succeed."
Ye Chen went to the front desk and frowned as he told the nurse, "You're not allowed to let that Miss Yun into my office again."
Upon hearing this, the nurse felt a little flustered, thinking that Dr. Ye was going to blame her, and quickly nodded.
Seeing that Dr. Ye left without saying anything else, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
In the following days, Yunhe did not come to the hospital to see Ye Chen again, nor did she go to his apartment building again.
Ye Chen thought she had finally figured it out and was in a great mood.
Little did they know.
He sees patients at the outpatient clinic on Fridays.
"Dr. Ye, I've been feeling very uncomfortable in my chest these past few days, it always feels tight, I don't know what's wrong."
Ye Chen was writing a medical record with his head down when he heard a familiar voice.
He looked up and saw Yunhe.
"Dr. Ye, can you take a look at me? My heart is beating so fast." Yunhe touched her chest.
Ye Chen reluctantly picked up the stethoscope and placed it near her chest, listening carefully.
Then, he said calmly, "It's nothing, just get some rest."
He didn't give Yunhe another glance and put the stethoscope away.
"Is there any medicine I can take? I feel so uncomfortable." Yunhe boldly reached out and touched Ye Chen's hand, which was on the table.
“Miss Yun, please have some self-respect. This is a hospital. If you're not here for treatment, please let the next patient in. Don't waste our time.” Ye Chen ruthlessly shook off her hand.
"Is lovesickness considered an illness? Then prescribe me some medicine, please," Yunhe said, feigning weakness.
Ye Chen ignored her, typed a prescription for a tonic into the computer, and looked at Yun He with his deep eyes, "The prescription is ready. Just go to the pharmacy and get it. I guarantee it will cure you."
Yunhe wanted to stay a little longer, but Ye Chen kicked her out.
Yunhe comforted herself, deciding to put it off for today. There would be plenty of time in the future, and since they had already met, Yunhe thought that her wish for today had been fulfilled, and she would come again next time.
Then, she went down to the third floor to pay the bill and get her medicine.
Yunhe smiled as the nurse handed her the packaged medicine.
It's all oral liquids to replenish qi and blood, as well as traditional Chinese medicine. It seems Ye Chen thinks she lacks energy.
Then she needs to work harder to improve her health and bother him more often, so that he will find life without her boring and uncomfortable in the future.
Yunhe kept speculating about Ye Chen's thoughts, and suddenly felt like she was injected with adrenaline and full of passion.
She was determined to win over Ye Chen.

On the other side, in Lincheng.
Rong Jing and Su Yinwan have been out together for over a week now.
That day, the two decided to return to Chengdu.
Before leaving, Su Yinwan made a special trip to town to buy gifts for the children.
These past few days, all the children have come to play with Su Yinwan, and they've had a lot of fun.
Today is the day I leave, and Su Yinwan is feeling a little reluctant to go.
Rong Jing seemed to sense her thoughts, so he hugged her and kissed Su Yinwan's forehead. "It's not like you're leaving and never coming back. I'll come with you next time you want to."
"Let's go, we'll deliver the gifts to them and then head back to Rongcheng." Su Yinwan went to the living room to get the gifts.
Seeing this, Rong Jing considerately took the gift from Su Yinwan's hands.
The two walked along the beach. Actually, the children's homes were easy to recognize; they were all children of fishermen, and their homes were all near the sea.
Finally, the children cried as they said goodbye to Su Yinwan, hugging her for a long time before finally letting go.
Su Yinwan waved goodbye to them reluctantly and said loudly, "I'll come see you again next time, I'll miss you."
“We’ll miss our sister too,” the children responded to Su Yinwan one after another.
In the afternoon, Rong Jing and Su Yin took a plane back to Rongcheng, and Assistant Xu picked them up from the airport and took them back to Qianyue Bay.
This trip was very meaningful and deeply touching.
