Chapter 90 Su's parents' views on Rong Jing

The people in the town get up very early, and most of those who stay at home are elderly people.

At 6:30 in the morning, loud hawking, opera, and greetings from neighbors across the courtyard could already be heard on the street.

It rained last night, and Su Yin slept soundly without waking up during the night.

She used to wake up once or twice in the middle of the night when she was sleeping.

Sleeping on a rainy day is indeed the most comfortable and pleasant.

When I got up, the rain had stopped and some sunlight was gradually shining in.

She walked to the window and opened both windows as wide as possible, taking a deep breath of the fresh morning air.

Afterwards, Rong Jing and Su Yinwan quickly tidied up and washed up before going downstairs.

"You two are up so early! Did you sleep well last night?"

Aunt Qin was wiping the table in the living room when she saw the two people coming down the stairs and asked them with concern.

"Hmm, Aunt Qin, you slept really well last night. Oh, where's Grandpa?"

When Su Yin came downstairs and didn't see her grandfather, she asked about Aunt Qin.

"Grandpa went to Grandma Yang's house next door to chat. I'll go pick him up later."

Aunt Qin wrung out the wet towel from her hands and continued, "Are you hungry? Go have some breakfast first. I cooked your favorite fish and lean pork porridge this morning."

"Aunt Qin understands me best; she knows I love this porridge." Su Yinwan made a big heart shape with her hands towards Aunt Qin.

She then took Rong Jing's hand and walked to the kitchen.

Su Yinwan opened the dish sterilizer and took out two ceramic bowls.

When the lid was opened, the fish porridge was still warm.

Aunt Qin must have been keeping the porridge warm, thinking that they could have a warm breakfast as soon as they woke up.

Su Yinwan first filled a bowl with porridge for Rong Jing and asked him to take it to the dining table.

She ladled another bowl for herself, and then the man came back and took the porridge from her hands.

The two sat down and began to savor the food slowly.

Su Yinwan scooped up a spoonful of fish and lean pork porridge; it was fresh and sweet, just like before.

"How is it? Isn't this porridge delicious?"

Su Yinwan looked at Rong Jing, a hint of a smile in her eyes.

"Um."

After swallowing a mouthful of porridge, Rong Jing responded to Su Yinwan.

Aunt Qin's fish and lean pork porridge is made with her own secret recipe, and no one else can make it taste like that.

This can be described as a top-notch delicacy.

Su Yinwan once praised Aunt Qin's cooking skills, saying that she could open a restaurant and there would definitely be many repeat customers.

After dinner, the two watered the flowers and pruned the branches in the yard.

Listening to the clear birdsong and smelling the fragrance of various flowers is very pleasant.

Rong Jing looked at the woman focused on her work and thought that when he was old, he would be able to accompany her and live an undisturbed life, which would be very nice.

He firmly believes that such days will come in the future.

It was exactly 10:00 AM.

Aunt Qin went to Grandma Yang's house to pick up Grandpa Su.

"Xiao Wan, call your parents. Why aren't they home yet? They'd usually be home by now."

When Grandpa Su returned home, he found that his second son and daughter-in-law had not yet returned, so he reminded Su Yinwan.

"Okay, Grandpa, I'll call Mom now."

Su Yinwan's phone is still in her room on the second floor.

She was about to go upstairs to get her phone when she saw Mr. and Mrs. Su walking in from outside carrying large and small bags of things.

"Mom and Dad, you're back! Grandpa just asked me to call you."

As Su Yinwan watched her parents walk in side by side, she ran happily to them like a child and took the things from her mother's hands.

"It's a bit late today. Knowing you were back, I asked your dad to take me to the mall to buy you two autumn outfits."

Mother Su smiled as she looked at her daughter, very happy.

"I love you, mwah." Su Yinwan kissed her mother on the cheek.

"What about me? I don't get a share?" Su's father pretended to be unhappy as he watched his daughter and wife being so intimate, without even glancing at him.

"Oh, my dear dad, I love you too." Su Yinwan gave her father a big hug.

"Honey, put the meat and other things that need to be refrigerated or frozen in the refrigerator first, in case they spoil if left outside."

Su's mother pointed to the fresh vegetables and other ingredients in Su's father's hands and offered a reminder.

"Okay, I'll take it and put it away now."

"Xiao Wan, where's A Jing? Didn't he come back with you this time?"

After looking around but not finding Rong Jing, Su's mother asked Su Yinwan.

"He's here, chatting with his grandfather in the yard."

Su Yinwan took the things out of the bag, tidied them up, and responded to her mother.

At this moment, Rong Jing helped Old Master Su walk from outside the courtyard into the living room.

He looked at Su Yinwan's mother beside her, and his deep voice rang out.

"mom."

With a "hey," Su's mother looked at Rong Jing in the direction of the voice.

Just then, Su's father came out of the kitchen and saw Rong Jing standing in the living room.

"Ah Jing is back too. I thought only Xiao Wan came back."

"Dad, the company hasn't been too busy lately, so Xiaowan and I came back to visit Grandpa and you all."

"This child is truly filial and sensible."

Su's mother was not very optimistic about this marriage at first.

She felt that a marriage without going through the process of meeting, getting to know each other, and falling in love, directly entering into the marriage hall, was indeed somewhat fragile and easily broken.

Originally, the Rong family and the Su family were not considered a good match.

The Rong family is a prestigious and influential family in Rongcheng and even other places.

The Su family was just an ordinary family in a small town in the northern part of the city.

She was terrified that her daughter would get caught up in the conflicts of a wealthy family after marrying into it, and that she would be unhappy living with her wealthy husband.

However, during the past two or three months, when she video-chatted with her daughter and they talked about their relationship again, she noticed that Su Yinwan's face began to show signs of marital happiness.

Su Yinwan often told her that Rong Jing's grandfather, father, and mother treated her extremely well, even better than their own grandchildren.

Furthermore, after spending these past few months together, the relationship between Su Yinwan and Rong Jing has gradually become stronger.

Nowadays, when Su Yinwan talks about these things with her mother, she unconsciously smiles, and her tone is not heavy, but rather lighthearted.

Su's mother knew that her daughter would not lie to her.

With that, Su's mother finally felt relieved.

Next, she can look forward to the arrival of her grandson or granddaughter.

Rong Jing got up and poured a cup of tea for his grandfather, father, and mother.

After sitting down, he poured Su Yinwan another glass and placed it in her palm.

To be honest, in their eyes, Rong Jing was already an outstanding and polite junior.

In the meantime, I massaged the old man's shoulders and legs, and peeled apples for Mr. and Mrs. Su.

Finally, he didn't forget to give Su Yinwan, who was sitting next to him, her favorite red and sweet strawberries.

Mr. and Mrs. Su nodded in satisfaction as they watched the little interactions between the young couple.

It's truly impressive that a CEO could be so considerate.

This son-in-law is more and more pleasing to the eye!
