Chapter 9 Planning the Golden Triangle

"Haha, thank you so much, brother. I'm just gaining some experience for myself, just in case I find it, hehe," Gu Yan said gratefully.

The driver, seeing that the young man was obsessed, didn't say much, shook his head, and drove off. These days, young men are getting harder and harder to manage.

Gu Yan then made a phone call to Dong Cheng.

Beep beep beep!

I remember the sound of the phone being answered.

"Is this Brother Gu?" Dong Cheng asked in a questioning tone.

"Haha, it's me, Brother Dong. I'm sorry to trouble you again," Gu Yan replied.

"Oh, Brother Gu, you haven't received another shipment, have you?"

The voice on the other end of the phone sounded excited; he had already finalized several deals for the jade he received from Gu Yan.

Each order is worth more than the purchase price. The amount he gets from Gu Yan alone is equivalent to more than half a year of his usual earnings. This saves him so much effort.

"Hehe, Brother Dong, you'll see when you get here." Gu Yan said, then gave the warehouse address and hung up.

Then he walked up to the pile of raw stones and peeled away the outer layer like unraveling a cocoon, revealing pieces of crystal-clear jade inside, in various colors. Moreover, he picked out pieces that could sell for at least several hundred thousand yuan each, enough to recoup the money he spent that afternoon.

There are fifty-six pieces in total, sorted by type.

Half an hour later, Gu Yan heard the sound of a car. He knew Dong Cheng had arrived and brought him in, his eyes immediately drawn to the pieces of jade.

"Brother Gu, have you brought all the jade from this whole street?" Dong Cheng exclaimed in surprise. He had never seen so much jade before. Although some of it wasn't very valuable, the quantity was huge. The cheaper the jade was, the higher his profit would be.

"What do you think, brother? How much can you offer?" Gu Yan asked Dong Cheng.

Dong Cheng looked at the jade and pondered for a moment.

"How about forty million, Brother Gu?" Dong Cheng said.

Gu Yan readily agreed. He knew the other party had overestimated the amount this time, or perhaps they had underestimated it before. After thinking for a moment, he asked the other party...

"Brother Dong, do you know which place has the most jade?"

Dong Cheng was also stunned. Was he going to raid the old stronghold?

"The Golden Triangle is where the vast majority of the world's jade comes from."

"However, it's very chaotic there," Dong Cheng said after thinking for a moment.

"Okay, thank you very much, Brother Dong," Gu Yan said.

"Haha, this is nothing, but don't be impulsive. It's not just a little chaotic there; many warlords and drug traffickers control their own territories," Dong Cheng added.

After helping him put the pieces of crystal-clear jade into the car, Gu Yan left.

He was thinking about things in the Golden Triangle. As for the danger, he simply ignored it. Right now, he was so tough that it would take dozens of people to hurt him. As for guns and cannons, he would just avoid them.

However, we needed to think things through further, so we went back to the house we had just bought.
