Chapter 184 Annihilating the Black Armor

With a series of clanging sounds, the boxes were all thrown together, though there were a few fewer than before.

Darnell said to a middle-aged man, "Sir, all taxes within my jurisdiction have been paid in full."

"Yes, I'll take care of the rest. You can go back now," the steward nodded and said.

"Yes, I'll take my leave." Darnell said, and then hurriedly left.

The steward shook his head upon seeing this; almost everyone did this, and he was used to it. He then looked at the number of boxes, nodded, and shouted, "Someone come here!"

As soon as he finished speaking, two soldiers in black armor walked in.

"You should move all these herbs to the family's medicinal garden," the steward said, waving his hand.

"Please rest assured, Your Excellency," a soldier said respectfully, then went out to gather a group of people to begin moving the goods.

...

"Oh, so they planted it in their own medicinal herb field," Gu Yan muttered to himself, implying that he didn't intend to consume it immediately.

That makes sense, as this herb isn't very helpful to them; only those at the second or third level of the Qi Opening Realm can consume it.

Another series of thumping sounds followed, and Gu Yan was moved onto a car again.

His divine sense constantly probed the surrounding defenses.

"Four thousand men, the defense is not bad," he murmured.

As he got closer, the rich aroma of the herbs filled his nostrils, and his eyes instantly lit up.

With a whoosh, a golden light disappeared directly into the box.

"Um?

"Did you hear anything?" a soldier next to him asked, frowning.

"sound?

"What's that sound?" a soldier asked, bewildered.

"Quiet!" shouted the black-armored captain at the front.

The soldier could only scratch his ear.

Am I really hallucinating?

...

"The aroma is so rich; the herbs alone are almost comparable to those in Medicine King Valley," Gu Yan exclaimed, standing in the center of a medicinal field.

Although it has only been around for a few decades, it is comparable to centuries-old herbs found elsewhere.

He then transformed into a herb-gathering machine, like a locust swarm, stuffing all herbs older than fifty years into his storage ring, without damaging their roots.

More than half an hour later, he stood in an empty medicinal herb field and sighed.

There were too many herbs here, so in order to make room for the ring, he only selected the highest-aged ones out of the ten thousand.

"I really wish this were a separate world. If I were in control, everything here would revolve around me."

He then flashed forward and charged towards a group of black-armored soldiers.

"Ah, look! That medicinal herb field is empty!" a soldier exclaimed, his eyes wide.

"What?! Go check it out quickly!" another soldier said hurriedly.

The captain at the front narrowed his eyes and shouted, "Be on guard! Enemy intrusion!"

"What? Where is it? I can't see it." A soldier looked around and asked.

"With the power of an ant, one dares to dream of turning the world upside down."

Gu Yan said disdainfully, and dozens of bone swords flew over in an instant.

Swish swish swish.

Ah~

"Help!"

...

The hundred black-armored soldiers were pierced through several times, their blood staining the ground red.

An ancient figure stands in the air, waving a banner to summon the soul.

Countless white lights pierced through, and the flesh and blood disappeared on the ground, leaving only black armor.

"Heh heh, this is truly a great place to replenish my troops," he said with a wicked grin.

The figure disappeared again, rushing directly towards the outer perimeter.

The summoning banner swung wildly in the air, and countless black lights fell to the ground like beans, attacking the soldiers.

"Ahhh, what kind of monster is this? How did it get in?" a soldier shouted.

"Damn it, could they be Olympus's secret forces?" a squad leader said through gritted teeth, feeling that he might not be able to defeat even one of them.

"First team, rush out to report the news; the rest of the teams, provide cover!" shouted a captain who was at the late stage of the fourth level of the Spirit Opening Realm.

"Why should I?"

"This should be our 18th team breaking out; you're more like providing cover." A voice retorted.

"Are we, Team Twenty-Five, really going to die here?"

...

The eight thousand ghost soldiers directly overwhelmed the weak and defeated them by overwhelming their numbers.

"Ahhhh, then don't leave, that's fair now," the captain said, clutching his severed arm.

A tearing sound kept ringing out.

Every second, soldiers were torn apart, their souls flying into the soul-summoning banner in the sky, and their flesh and blood flying into the ancient insect-breeding space.

He himself sat on his flying sword, drinking the medicinal liquid while admiring the purgatory below.

Suddenly, a golden light flew out from his hand and passed directly through the body of a captain.

"Tsk tsk, the way these sheep are struggling is quite amusing," he muttered to himself.

With him here, no one can escape the center.
