Chapter 83: Drunkenness

Chapter 83: Drunkenness

The two people in Qingya Garden got drunk, and this matter was reported to the eldest lady by Zhou Zhiwei's spies.

The eldest lady asked and found out that Chang Xixi had gone out with her entourage, and Gu Rongyu happened to be studying, so the courtyard was temporarily without a master, and the servants were in chaos. Coincidentally, these two people were people Chang Xixi brought from the countryside.

It's normal to have no rules, but when did this person appear beside Xixi?

She sent someone to check. The boy was standing at the door, looking inward. No one was there! Then she went to the servant's room and saw a teenager fast asleep, his face flushed, clutching two swords. She didn't know what time it was.

The servant shook his head again and looked around, but didn't see anything unusual, not even a trace of alcohol.

After everyone left, Liang Ming came to Renwen's room, pulled him out of bed, and patted his face. "Wake up, shall we continue drinking?"

"Drink, of course I did."

Renwen closed his eyes and spoke in a careless manner. He didn't look like he wanted to drink more, but was a complete drunkard.

Seeing that he really couldn't squeeze out anything more, Liang Ming stuffed him into the quilt, took out a jar from under the bed, flew to the roof and started drinking it himself.

As for the servant, he hurried back to the lady's room, replied to her, and then left!

The eldest lady just thought that the people below her were ill-mannered and never thought that such a thing really happened.

Chang Xixi swaggered in with a pile of things, entering through the side door beside the main gate. Coincidentally, she ran into the gossipy servant, who came up and started to say, "Really? The master doesn't act like a master. The guest doesn't even look like a guest. He allowed his servant to commit a serious crime in the mansion."

"My servant who stayed in the yard is still a child, how could he drink? Even if it's just a lie, I'll find a way to catch him red-handed."

The servant's face turned red after hearing what Chang Xixi said, and he lowered his head and left.

Chang Xixi waved the fan in her hand. "Tell me, is this person here to tip off or to cause trouble? I won't say much, but he's so flustered with just one sentence. It shows that the person behind this is nothing special and nothing to be afraid of."

At Qingyayuan, Gu Rongyu also came back from school and heard about the drunken incident.

The two of them happened to enter the yard together, one came in from the back door of the front yard, and the other came in from the main door of the back yard. Gu Rongyu had not said a word to Qingnan yet, so he didn't know what was going on here.

"Is my husband out of school? I took Li Da and Xiao Hong out for a walk and bought a lot of loot. Is everything going well for you?"

"very good."

Qingnan was just about to tell Gu Rongyu what happened in the mansion today, but Chang Xixi took the initiative and called Renwen's name while standing in the yard.

Renwen, who had drunk wine in the morning and sobered up in the afternoon, walked out of the servant's room. His clothes that were full of alcohol had been changed long ago, and he was also sober. Only Liang Ming was still sleeping in a secluded corner with a sword in his arms.

As soon as Gu Rongyu stepped into the yard, he didn't feel Liang Ming's presence and guessed that he was slacking off.

As soon as Chang Xixi said that, Gu Rongyu remembered that Liang Ming had a hobby of drinking. He must have drunk a lot of wine.

The incident was a fact, but the Zhou family had no evidence against him. If he didn't have any evidence, then he didn't do it.

Chang Xixi grumbled a lot and went straight into the house, leaving the others unsure of what to do. Everyone looked over at Gu Rongyu, "Young Master?"

"Just do what you need to do and don't get in my way."

Gu Rongyu also followed Chang Xixi into the house. He had never had a close confidant around him for many years, and the deputy general who raised him was also a man who did not know how to care for him, so he didn't know what it meant to be sweet and affectionate.

I looked at the items on the table and took one apart to have a look. They were just ordinary little gadgets, such as clay figurines and gourds with hand-held ornaments.

"What are you going to do with all these things?"

"Doing market research." Chang Xixi replied while lying on the bed with her back to him, and then moved her waist to express her dissatisfaction and anger.

Gu Rongyu didn't understand what market research was. He thought Chang Xixi might want to open a store here. Judging from her appearance today, she must have made some progress.

Ignore him, he's angry!

"The people in the mansion haven't caught the culprit yet. Why are you so angry? He was just drunk. What's there to be afraid of? The eldest lady didn't get angry either. She sent someone to ask."

"You mean Zhou Zhiwei was behind this? Does she really want me to be infamous?"

Gu Rongyu's mind was clearer than Chang Xixi's. Besides, he already knew that Qingnan had dragged the drunk Liang Ming back to his room.

"Zhou Zhiwei isn't that scheming, but you're the one who can't hold your temper anymore?"

"No, I'm not losing my composure."

She spoke softly, sitting up from the bed, thinking that Zhou Zhiwei might not do anything because of this matter, as she was a young lady and didn't know how to drink.

I'm afraid there's no wine in the mansion that she can get her hands on. There's only one possibility: Ren Wen is drinking with someone.

This kid is so lucky! He was asked to stay as a gatekeeper, and this is how he guards the gate? No one else can do that.

Chang Xixi thought about it, grabbed Gu Rongyu's hand and ran directly to the servant's room, where she found five or six wine bottles under Renwen's bed.

Renwen hung his head. He knew… his wife didn't know Liang Ming's identity, and therefore, didn't know he existed. He could only take on this responsibility himself.

"Ma'am, I was wrong. I never drink again. However, when Ma'am sent someone to come today, I was sober. I didn't cause any trouble at all."

A slender little hand grabbed Renwen's ear, causing him to grimace in pain and shout in pain. It hurt so much.

Li Daben wanted to help, but Gu Rongyu glared at him, so he had no choice but to watch Renwen's ears being pulled until they turned red.

I secretly complained in my heart that this kid didn't learn good things, but instead chose to learn how to drink from Liang Ming. It's time to teach him a lesson.

Renwen's eyes were filled with tears. Chang Xixi was so satisfied with her teasing that she sat on a chair in the servants' room. "Renwen is drinking at such a young age. Li Da is also responsible for this. Therefore, as a fine, your monthly salary for this month will be reduced by half. If you do it again, you will be in trouble in the future."

Renwen immediately knelt on the ground, stroking her crimson ears, and sobbed, "Madam, please forgive Brother Li. This is all my fault."

"Get up! Are you going to be like this when you meet strangers in the future? You have no manners."

"Madam, I...I know I was wrong. Please don't punish Brother Li."
