Tantai Qing was on the phone when he looked up at the newsstand and saw the woman who had just confidently rejected him now with her arms crossed, head down, seemingly lost in thought. Her face, half-hidden by her long hair, revealed a hint of melancholy.
Jiang Jifan's legs started to ache from standing still. She bit her lip and turned around, only to unexpectedly meet the gaze of the man in the driver's seat.

"Get in the car," he said.
