0026 Kiss

Tantai Qing pretended to think for a moment, then smiled and said, "Personally, I think some of these are basic qualities, but..."
He glanced at her, his tone firm yet gentle: "In my heart, other women are quite different from you."
He might be a gentleman to every lady, but he would never show the same level of care and attention towards her as he did for her.
Jiang Jifan felt much more at ease after hearing this, and nodded slightly, making no attempt to hide the smile on his lips.
When she got out of the car, her seatbelt suddenly became impossible to unfasten. After fiddling with it for a while, seeing that she was getting a little impatient, Tantai Qing quickly stopped her and said, "Don't worry, let me help you."
So he unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned over.
He didn't smell of tobacco at all; instead, he had a clean, faint scent. Jiang Jifan guessed that he must have completely quit smoking.
The man in front of me had a distinct jawline; unlike his gentle frontal face, his profile was slightly sharp.
My gaze fell down to his slightly pursed lips.
His lips look very kissable...
As if suddenly realizing something, she blushed for a moment.

As he stood up, Jiang Jifan's lips accidentally brushed against his cheek, leaving a faint lipstick mark on his fair skin.
Both of them were taken aback.
The already cramped carriage instantly became tense and awkward. Jiang Jifan nervously clenched her fingers, noticing his deep, burning gaze fixed on her. He hesitated before speaking, "You..."
He suddenly moved closer, his eyes half-closed as he stared at her slightly parted red lips, and whispered, "May I kiss you?"
"Bang!" It was as if a firework had exploded in Jiang Jifan's mind.
She later forgot how she answered, only remembering that when she came to her senses, the man's face was close to hers, their breaths mingled intimately, and their lips met.
This was her first time kissing a man, and she was so nervous that she forgot to close her eyes. Her eyelashes trembled incessantly. When she saw that he was about to open his eyes to look at her, she immediately closed her eyes before he could.
Tantai Qing opened his eyes and saw her tightly closed, slightly trembling, curled eyelashes, clearly showing her nervousness. He then reached into her tightly clasped hands, gently holding her palms, while his slender fingers simultaneously stroked her neck.
Perhaps because of her sensitivity, she shrank back slightly. He paused for a moment, then turned around and placed his hand on her shoulder.
During their first intimate encounter, Tantai Qing was very reserved. To be considerate of her feelings, he didn't go too deep, but simply gently held her lips in his mouth. When he noticed her slowly beginning to respond awkwardly and clumsily, a smile secretly appeared in his eyes.

Jiang Jifan closed the door and leaned against it, realizing that her heart was still pounding wildly in her chest. She pursed her lips, raised her hand to cover her burning cheeks, and secretly scolded herself for being impulsive.
"Are we... officially together?" She recalled the time he asked her, sounding uncertain and a little nervous, when he dropped her off at the entrance of her apartment complex.
Jiang Jifan stopped and turned around at the sound. Even though it was dark, she could clearly see the undisguised expectation on his face.
She stood there, clutching her bag in both hands, gazing at him quietly. After a long while, she nodded and softly replied, "Mm."
As soon as he finished speaking, he smiled with relief and said softly, "Go back now, be careful on the road."
His affectionate gaze made her forget to answer, and she simply turned and left.
Before entering the building, she glanced back and saw him still standing there. He hesitated for a moment after seeing her turn around, then raised his hand and waved to her.
She looked away and went inside.
Pulling herself back to reality, Jiang Jifan glanced down at her phone, wondering whether she should send him a message telling him to be careful on the road. But then she thought it would be too deliberate, so she didn't send it.
After I finished showering, I saw a message he had sent me twenty minutes earlier: "I'm home."
"OK."
Jiang Jifan put down her phone and sat in front of the vanity mirror to dry her hair. As she dried it, the kiss that made her blush and her heart race resurfaced in her mind.
They actually kissed a second time.
Just when she thought it was over, he reached out, took off his glasses, and kissed her.
She thought he must have guessed she wouldn't refuse, otherwise why would he be so brazen?
Jiang Jifan only remembered that his breath was very hot at the time, which made her feel hot all over.
She was surprised to discover that even someone who usually seemed gentle could have such a strong side.
She had imagined many ways for the two of them to be together, but she never expected that they would do things that lovers do before becoming lovers. She shook her head and laughed.
