0042 Sleeping Together
Two months after Jiang Jifan and Xing Yeye got together, they were out shopping when Jiang asked her how she and her boyfriends had their first time.
Xing Yeye waved her hand dismissively and said, "Let nature take its course."
Then, with a wicked grin, he looked at her, raised an eyebrow, leaned closer, and whispered, "So, you slept with him?"
"How could that be! We've only been together for two months..." Jiang Jifan said, his voice rising and his brows furrowed.
"What's wrong with two months?" Xing Yeye pouted, calling her old-fashioned. "If two people like each other enough, they can be together for a minute or an hour."
“What are you thinking? The Qing Dynasty is long gone! It’s the era of wearing high heels now, not platform shoes!” she said, poking her head with her finger.
Despite her seemingly open-minded appearance, her friend is actually quite conservative at heart.
"Does that mean you're going to marry him after you sleep with him?" she asked again.
Jiang Jifan replied firmly, "Impossible."
"That's right! Relax, don't put so much pressure on yourself, being happy is the most important thing!" Xing Yeye said, patting her shoulder.
Jiang Jifan recalled her friend's somewhat distorted view of love, and decided to give up on it.
However, while her words may be rough, they do contain some truth.
"Speaking of which, is he a saint?" Xing Yeye mocked.
"You're amazing to remain unmoved by a girlfriend as beautiful as you with such a great figure!" she said, while reaching out to pinch her round, perky buttocks, like a lecherous man.
"Hehe, if it were me, I couldn't stand it for even a second!"
Caught off guard, Jiang Jifan let out a soft cry. Just then, a waitress came to serve them drinks. Hearing her cry, she looked up in surprise and saw her uncomfortable expression. She mistakenly assumed that they had some improper relationship, put the drinks on the table, and ran away with a flushed face.
Finally, Jiang Jifan got so angry that he slapped her hand, but Xing Yeye ignored him and just kept bending over and laughing.
In a few days, I will invite them to join me on a trip.
"Brother Taiqing, I remember you have a villa in the suburbs, right?" Jiang Jifan saw her asking in the group when he got off work.
After a moment, Tantai Qing answered yes and asked if she wanted to choose a destination in the suburbs.
"Hehe, Tai-Ching, you really understand me! (shyly)"
Jiang Jifan read their conversation without saying a word until he tagged Nan Nan to ask if she had any thoughts. Only then did she reply, "Not at the moment. I'm fine with anything. You can decide."
So they ultimately decided to visit the countryside.
Tantai Qing's villa in the suburbs is nestled against the mountains and beside the water, with a beautiful view.
Jiang Jifan asked him why he thought of buying a villa here.
He explained, "Initially, I didn't intend to buy here. The previous owner of this villa was a bankrupt boss. However, the timing was unfortunate. He encountered a financial crisis just after the house was renovated, and in order to raise funds, it ended up in my hands after being introduced by several people."
He didn't think too much about it at the time. He saw that the scenery was beautiful and he had some spare money, so he bought it.
After they got together and got to know each other better, Jiang Jifan had become used to some of his things. At this point, she even joked with him, "You don't happen to own properties in every corner of China, do you?"
Tantai Qingqian smiled and shook her head, "I'm still a long way from that goal."
He was always so humble, which made Jiang Jifan curious—what was it that he could be proud of?
"Yes." He looked at her, a glimmer of amusement in his eyes. "You."
Jiang Jifan glanced at him with a smile and let him hold her hand.
Xiang Nannan stepped forward to interrupt their sweet talk, "This villa has a bit too few rooms, there are only three in total."
Then she continued to explain her thoughts, and Jiang Jifan felt a little embarrassed when she mentioned that he and Tantai Qing should sleep in the master bedroom.
"No, I don't think so..."
"Hey!" Xiang Nannan stopped, pointed at them, and said, "Don't tell me you're all so innocent?"
Jiang Jifan immediately shut up; the relationship between him and her really was that innocent...
Ignoring everything else, Xiang Nannan pushed her into Tantai Qing's arms and said with a smile, "It's decided then! Have fun for the next few days!"
Tantai Qing quickly grabbed her, looked down at her and said, "She just loves to act silly, don't pay any attention to her."
"You sleep in one room, I'll just squeeze in with the others."
Jiang Jifan blurted out, "How can that be?"
This is his house. How can the owner be reduced to this state?
However, she couldn't directly say that she could accept sleeping with someone, so she turned her head, pursed her lips, and said, "Whatever, I'm fine with anything."
Tantai Qing understood her unspoken meaning and replied with a smile, "Okay."
