0073 Socializing
Jiang Jifan was originally scheduled to attend a social event tonight, but just before he was about to leave work, he suddenly invited Xu Zheng to join him.
"Am I going too?" Xu Zhengyan was suddenly notified and looked blank, so he asked her to confirm.
Jiang Jifan sat in her office chair, bent down to put on her black pointed high heels, looked up at him and smiled, and said casually, "There are several clients of our company who are having dinner with us tonight. I was originally thinking of taking you to meet them, but if you don't want to go, that's fine too. I won't force you."

Seeing that he already understood the significance of this dinner, he didn't say anything more and stood up to explain, "You can learn a lot of things at the dinner table that you can't get to do at work."
Xu Zhengyan nodded, seemingly understanding but not quite.
There was some traffic on the way, and by the time they arrived, the dinner party had already started.

Xu Zhengyan noticed that she had already drunk several glasses of baijiu before even sitting down, and looking at the clients at the table who seemed to enjoy making things worse, he was quite worried for her.
