Chapter 195 The Little Fox with Magic

Nan Xian asked in surprise, "Little fox, can you send me back to reality?"

The little fox covered its mouth with its paw, chuckled, and kept everyone in suspense: "Mother, just you wait and see!"

As soon as it finished speaking, it turned around and jumped off Nan Xian's palm. It was so small, but it was very agile. After landing, it disappeared into the grass in a flash.

Nan Xian was a little nervous. She half-lay on the ground, carefully searching for its tracks.

Before long, it returned, dragging some fruit with it.

It hurried along, using the fruits to mark several points around Nan Xian, and when she connected them, they formed a perfect circle.

"What are they doing?"

"Draw a formation!" the little fox answered vaguely while busy working, "We need to use a formation to send Mother to where she wants to go!"

Nan Xian was only partially confused and didn't want to disturb it any further, so she just watched silently.

Once it had located the spot, it disappeared into the bushes again. This time it took longer, quite a while before returning with a blade of grass in its mouth.

The grass was nothing to Nan Xian, less than the length of her little finger, but it was quite a challenge for the little fox. It struggled to bite one end of the grass and tried its best to drag it into the circle.

Nan Xian felt a pang of pity: "Do you need my help?"

The little fox quickly shook its head: "This can only be done by me alone. If you help me, Mother, it might damage the integrity of the formation. You should stand and rest!"

Nan Xian nodded in understanding and stood there watching it busy itself.

It took a lot of effort to finally drag the plant into the circle. It lay there panting for a while with its tail drooping, but quickly regained its energy and raised its tail high again.

It tore the grass into several pieces, placed one piece at the spot in front of Nan Xian's toes, and put the other piece into its mouth, crunching and chewing.

The grass looked extremely unpalatable. It grimaced as it ate, finally gritting its teeth and swallowing it down, looking utterly dejected and resigned to its fate.

Nan Xian couldn't help but chuckle, adding another interesting label to her impression of this little fox.

After it finished eating the grass, it held the last bit in its mouth and gestured for Nanxian to squat down.

Nan Xian did as she was told, and the grass climbed up her trouser leg and placed the blades of grass on her outstretched palm.

"Mother, eat it!"

She looked at the blade of grass covered in its teeth marks and saliva, hesitated for a few seconds, and then gulped it down in one go.

As soon as she took her first bite, Nan Xian almost couldn't hold back and vomited.

A seemingly ordinary blade of grass can actually contain all five flavors: sour, sweet, bitter, spicy, and salty, and not just any ordinary flavor!

Sour is like a punch to the tongue, sweet is like a scalding sweetness that goes straight to the throat, bitter is like a bitterness worse than the life of a corporate slave working overtime on the weekend, spicy is like a fiery dragon going straight to the back door, and salty is like soaking your tongue in the Dead Sea!

These five flavors combined in her mouth, making Nan Xian dizzy and disoriented, almost losing her sense of taste.

"Mother, don't spit it out! You have to swallow it!" Seeing that her face looked strange, the little fox quickly stopped her.

Nan Xian covered her mouth, gritted her teeth, and endured the pain against her will, forcibly swallowing what was in her mouth.

"Mother is so amazing!" The little fox clapped its little paws in praise, then turned around, stood up by supporting itself on its hind paws, put its front paws together in front of its chest, closed its eyes, and began to chant a spell.

The circle surrounding Nan Xian suddenly lit up. Before she could recover from the shock of that strange smell, she felt dizzy, as if she had been pulled into a huge vortex.

When I opened my eyes again, I was in a familiar hospital room.
