Assistant Jiang arrived quickly. As soon as he got out of the car, he saw He Mingxiao's appearance and stood there stunned for a full three seconds.
It wasn't until He Mingxiao casually glanced at him that Assistant Jiang snapped out of his daze. He fiddled around in the car for a while before finally getting out with a thermos and a few pills, which he handed to Nan Xian.
Nan Xian looked at the pills of various sizes and colors, her brows furrowing almost imperceptibly, but she didn't have time to ask any questions and carefully fed them to He Mingxiao.
He Mingxiao recovered quickly after taking the medicine. Although his face was still a little pale, he had stopped coughing.
He looked at Nan Xian and smiled gently, "Thank you, I feel much better now."
